I think I saw about 10,000 white people at this festival. And about 1 black person. Yes, 1. And about very few, if any, Hispanics, and about zero Asians. But hey. It is what it is. Other than the racial demographics, it is a lovely Festival in one of my favorite neighbourhoods of Michigan. Some of the best pizza slices in the world are in these parts and if you wander the Allen Park Street fair you will find lots of cool stands and coolinary (intentional mis-spelling) delights. And a lot of the stores along this area will sell stuff outside the front of their stores. Just a great Festival although - as I said - you will notice there is very very little ethnic diversity.

Always includes the annual Hall of Fame inductions, a 5k run and many other activities. I've been going for several years now and it just seems to keep growing.

First time at this annual fall festival. This year they celebrated their 29th year!…read more We enjoyed the corny dogs and loaded butterfly chips. Lots of other great vendors like BBQ, classic burgers, tavern style food and beer on tap. We only stayed for 45minutes because it was raining and it was in the low 50's. They had 330 vendors from all over Michigan and Detroit area. I'm definitely looking forward to next year, as we will be more equipped and know what to expect. Highly recommend you next year in October. Check website for exact dates as they only have it for 2days.
