Just sat down at the bar
    Deedrah B.

Fun stop on our way down to CLT! Enjoyed the mimosa flight, garlic cheese bread and caprese panini. Good place to sit and relax. Small but cute and cozy space. We sat at the bar, our server was very friendly and welcoming. Food and drinks came out fast and we had a great time. Bread was nice and cheesy, toasted and warm. Mimosas were delicious, of course. Perfect start to the weekend!

If I lived closer, I would be a regular here. It's incredibly comfortable and they have such a wide variety of options for food if you want something light or heavier. The staff is incredibly kind, and the chef actually gave me some mustard made from scratch to take home for my Cuban-food loving partner to try! Because I said I knew he would be excited about the Cuban on their menu. The wine list is extensive and impressive. I got the brown sugar latte, and it was great! Also, they have pastries as big as your face, which you truly just need sometimes. This spot is a gem. The outdoor patio is romantic too. Great spot!

Grilled 3 cheese with tomato bisque

What a great, family owned place! I got the half sammie and soup $11.50. I chose the grilled 3 cheese that was so cheesy, the bread gave way before the cheese. The tomato bisque was very flavorful and the balsamic drizzle was a wonderful touch. I ate every bite. My Aunt got the half sammie and side salad. She chose the Turkey Gouda as her sandwich. She also ate every bite. The service was good and the atmosphere was cozy coffee/wine cafe. I would return.

Small charcuterie board and rosé flight

We celebrated my birthday here tonight and it was perfect. We were greeted upon walking in and everyone was so warm. It's a small business owned by a husband and wife that love doing what they do. The weather was nice so we sat on the patio which had plenty of space. We ended up ordering the rosé flight and a small charcuterie board to start then moved on to entrees and the red wine flight. The salmon was delicious as well as the harvest flatbread with chicken! Our flights included 2 oz of 4 various wines then you chose your favorite out of those and get a complementary glass. We truly enjoyed every minute of our time here, thank you all!

The service was good! The food was delicious. We had the grilled chicken sandwich and the grilled cheese! They were both very flavorful and well prepared! We also had the lemon raspberry mascarpone cake. It was really good! We will be back. It seems like a good place to watch a game or grab a glass of wine with friends! The atmosphere was welcoming.

Delicious "Big Breakfast!" Sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere while dining alone. Great place!

Tried Grounds and Vine today for a quick breakfast and coffee and was not disappointed! I had a gingerbread latte and the ham and cheese croissant and they were great. I want to come back for lunch and wine sometime because the options looked pretty solid. It's a really cute place and the staff was nice. Prices seemed very fair. The ONLY negative thing I have to say is it's tough getting back to 85 after. I ended up just taking back roads over to Odell school road to get home. I think that area is just really growing so traffic is inevitable. Great spot though and always happy to find another solid latte option!

My wife, mother, and I came out on a Saturday night expecting a nice dinner, but there was a private event that had most of the bar closed and seemed to be getting most of the wait staff's attention. Unfortunately, this was not communicated in advance. I wish they had posted something on their social media pages so guests could plan accordingly. While the atmosphere was still pleasant, the overall experience felt a bit lackluster due to limited availability and service.

There's a plethora of seating including a few intimate reserved areas for special occasions. I also appreciate the open patio which has its own unique vibe. I just tried the HH bites. I ordered the Jerk Chicken Eggrolls. They were bland and had absolutely no flavor or seasoning. I was very disappointed but hungry. Another party also ordered all 3 eggrolls but they were burned and had hair in them. She sent them back and her claim was disputed by both the manager and bartender. The fact that the burned Eggrolls were not replaced without a triple check shocked me. I was flabbergasted. Based on that interaction she proclaimed she wouldn't return nor would I. I was disappointed in that interaction. I was going to order the lamb and pasta but decided against it.

The service was wonderful from start to finish, and we even had the chance to speak with the general manager during our visit. I decided to try the pimento cheeseburger this time, although I typically order their mushroom pasta dish, which I always enjoy. The burger was good, and my mom ordered the rigatoni, which was also really good! We also ordered glasses of wine that we really enjoyed. While we were sitting outside, unfortunately a bug decided to take a swim in my glass and didn't quite make it... Our server was so kind about it and brought me another glass, filling it back up to where my original glass had been. Our drinks were never empty, the food came out promptly, and we really appreciated that we never felt rushed throughout the evening. The food is over the moon delicious with plenty of options and reasonable serving sizes. Even with the slightly high price point, it is well worth every penny. And they take allergies SO seriously! Literally went through a bunch of ingredients to find what would and wouldn't be dairy-allergy safe. Atmosphere is fun but cozy, too. 100% recommend! In-depth: Postino has quickly become one of my favorite places in the CLT area after my 10/10 experience here. To start, the food. My word, it's amazing! Everything my friend and I tried was delicious. The bruschetta is 100% worth trying (the spinach artichoke one is my favorite), and the west coaster panini + romaine salad was tasty at every bite. Their wine is also good quality, with a decent-sized portion poured. Allergy safety is a major thing for them, too. Our server (Lee = the best waitress!) and her manager looked through their bread and ingredients for about 30 minutes to confirm what was and wasn't dairy safe (I asked how dairy allergies are handled for when I bring my husband next time). They also had quite a few gluten-free options, too. The manager explained that she wants people to be able to just come in and relax for a few hours without worrying if they'll get sick, which I truly, truly appreciate. Lee shared a similar sentiment, which was amazing. Now price... Yes, it is a *bit* pricey, but it is well worth it. Nothing felt lacking as far as flavor goes, and the allergy safety is a huge thing. This is one of the few places I felt my sandwich and salad were worth every penny, even if it was $17. Also, their rewards program is great. I got a free bruschetta board, and they offer several other perks. Make sure to sign up before or while dining there to get some good deals! In addition to their sincere care for allergy safety, the service is fantastic all around. They do group service, meaning you'll have several servers, and they encourage you to grab anyone if you have questions. This takes the pressure off of waiting for one server to walk by and really helped me relax. And the atmosphere? I could stay there all day! It's a really fun vibe, but the lighting and seating are very cozy. Overall, I've already recommended this place to 5+ people and will be returning soon

While her original visit left more than be desired management invited us to give them a second try and I'm so glad we did. We had an amazing time from start to finish. The staff was amazing and I was astounded by their dedication to their craft. The best part was the food. We started with the chefs board which had an array of cheeses and spreads. The most memorable was the whipped feta. OMG. The Ambiance was the only thing I feel could use some tuning as there's not enough sound deadening to make the music out? It sounds like a heart beat and makes it hard to make out conversations. Major shout out to Leigh for taking care of us all night and making it a memorable night. Also big thanks to Odhie for the tickets to the concert. This was definitely a night to remember. Thank you Postinos Staff!

From load-in onward, management seemed far more concerned with monitoring and restricting the performance than supporting live entertainment. Before the show even began, there were already complaints about potential volume levels simply from seeing the sound equipment and production setup. The band and crew made extensive efforts to accommodate every concern throughout the night. The drummer used hot rods instead of regular sticks, the FOH engineer kept the band under very controlled volume levels, and even the lighting setup was intentionally kept minimal and non-intrusive out of respect for the venue. Despite all of those accommodations, management continued hovering throughout the evening and interrupting over very minor issues. It created an unnecessarily tense atmosphere for both the performers and production crew. Live music requires a certain level of comfort and trust between the venue and the people running the show, and unfortunately that never existed here. In addition, one of the bartenders consistently came across as dismissive and talked down to members of the band and crew during the night. At one point, they stated that this was "a bar that happens to have music," and proceeded to lecture me on how sound works and how customers would not be able to hear each other if the band was too loud. This was particularly frustrating considering the extensive efforts already being made by both the band and audio crew to keep levels controlled and respectful for the room. Everyone involved on the production side remained professional and cooperative throughout the evening, but the overall attitude toward live music and production made the experience unnecessarily stressful. As someone who works behind the scenes to help create a professional live experience, it was disappointing to feel like every aspect of the production was treated as a problem rather than part of the entertainment guests came to see. If a venue only wants extremely quiet background music with little to no production presence, they would likely be better suited booking solo acoustic performers instead of full live bands with sound and lighting support.
