Wow.... Gotta give it up for this one. Vibez Bar & Grill really delivered! From the moment our food arrived, it was clear we were in for a treat. Everything was piping hot, incredibly fresh, and seasoned to perfection--you can tell there's a real passion in that kitchen. Plus, our takeout order was ready in 12 minutes, which made picking up dinner a breeze, and our server was an absolute lovely gem. She was nice enough to bring our food to the car! Her chill, friendly demeanor added to the positive vibe. While I can't speak to the drinks or restrooms, I can wholeheartedly recommend the wings, moist seasoned turkey burgers, and vibez fries (yes sir). These fries are battered and so crispy. They are a standout in a sea of fries. As a note... Vibez is equal opportunity delicious too. They have a fair amount of veggie options too. Who owns/runs this place? I got to check out Vibez via a Doordash order and I was very pleasantly surprised by my food. I ordered their wings in the sweet chili sauce and vibez sauce, fries, zucchini fries. I really didn't see any difference in the wing sauces so I think it was just one sauce instead of two. That kind of sucks, but it was a good sauce so I wasn't too mad. The fries were great, nice and crispy. The stand out, shockingly, was the zucchini fries! They were crispy and just tasted really good. Overall, I really enjoyed everything and I'd go back here in real life or order them again. read more

Ordered the fish sandwich with a side of pork rinds and pimento cheese today. Okay for the positives: the food arrived warm and nicely presented. The sandwich is ample and the bread is amazing. The pork rinds were nice and crispy as well and tasty. The not so great: the fish had no flavor. I had to add my own seasoning to bring out any flavor. I got tartar sauce and it wasn't great...too sweet. The pork rinds came with what was called "pimento cheese". This was NOT remotely pimento cheese and was a very wet version; something I couldn't identify. It would have been great if it had been real pimento cheese. This definitely has the ability to be a great meal but definitely needs some tweaks. read more

We had a nice late lunch here on a weekday afternoon. They have ample parking, it was slow when we arrived so we were seated right away, and they have high chairs available for the babies. My friend ordered a quesadilla and I had mozzarella sticks and a fried shrimp basket with fries. It was good bar food. They have a full bar. Business started to pick up as we edged closer to happy hour so many of the tables were full by the time we left. The waitresses kind enough to take this photo of us before we departed. 4.5 stars! Great delicious food! Came here for bottomless mimosas. You can get various mixers for the mimosas, super cool. It's a 4.5 due to service was a little slow but she super nice. I didn't know that the business existed but luckily my friend did. We popped in to listen to live jazz and have a cocktail. This bar is located in Concord down the street from Cloverleaf shopping center. Parking onsite is free. We were greeted warmly when we walked in. My friend and I sat in the patio area to watch enjoy the music. It is definitely brisk out put tbe patio had several outside heaters. Our waitress Jaiya, was fun and friendly! The entire vibe was accommodating. I ordered a chicken philly and Jameson. My friend had. A regular philly and Jameson as well. The prices are very comfortable. I can easily see myself becoming a regular here or hosting an event or something! It's great to have a spot to wind down on Wednesday without having to drive to Charlotte. The drinks and food where good and I think they even made my food after they wanted the kitchen closed which was super dope. The outside has heating to help it but the inside is where most the vibe is. The outside could have been a club even cause they had a DJ on that side. Food- 4 star, solid but nothing special Service- 4 star Ambience- 3 star, definitely more bar than restaurant feel, small, big TV couldn't be easily seen by half our table Other- 1 star Other- they charged me a 50 dollar fee- they told me it was a 50 dollar deposit when I called- to reserve a table. We wanted to make sure they'd have our game on and I asked about reservations, they said yes. Not reserving a special room/table, they just pushed two 4 person tables together on the main dining room. When I went to pay they told me it wasn't a deposit, it was a fee. I do Charlotte restaurant week twice a year and on "date night" with my wife I make reservations regularly- 6 times a year total probably. I've never even heard of a restaurant charging a fee- $50 bucks! - just to reserve a regular table. I did have the waitress speak with the manager and he confirmed- but didn't come talk to me about it. Needless to say, I will never be back. We had a table of 12, with food and drinks spent more than 300 dollars total. It's not like we stayed all night just tying up a table and drinking water. Also, there were at least 3 open tables the entire night. With no reservation they could easily have seated our whole group. They weren't turning business away because of our reservation, they had plenty of room. read more

I feel like this place has potential. Two of my friends invited me to join them after church this past Sunday 9/1/24. Apparently Vibez has some of the best wings in the area. Now we arrived super early..10 minutes before it even opened. We even went into the donut shop next door which was REALLY good btw. The staff were all super nice and inviting. There was a bunch of regulars in there. We sat at the bar (In which the bartender was very nice and cool, I think her name was Jas. I was conflicted between the brunch menu just ordering some wings. I love fish and grits so I ordered that. When the food came (took about 8-10mins). The food came out very quick. I tried the food and my friends who recommended the place could just see how disappointed I was.. The bartender could see as well but didn't even bother to ask a simple "how is everything" .. I REALLY hate that the food wasn't as good as it looked. The Fish (Grouper) was fried extremely well but had ZERO seasoning or even any salt for that matter. The grits just weren't even good, I've had better instant grits. It wasn't until my friend asked could I send this $15 meal back for the wings $20. The bartender says "I'm sorry, they wont let you do that because it's already made". In my head I'm stunned because she literally see's that the food is barely even touched.. I'm talking one scoop of grits and a bite of the fish. Cool.. so my friend who invited me ordered lemon pepper wings which were dry rub. I don't eat or ever order lemon pepper wings but I can visually see that there was little to no lemon pepper on there. She mentioned it the bartender. The cook who is either just the cook or the cook and the owner (Bald, light skin, heavyset guy) offered two solutions, but not before getting offended by her saying the wings were't seasoned. He goes on to say "I'm always the same cook, nobody has ever told me that my wings weren't good". That was really cringe and awkward because she never said they weren't good only that they lacked lemon pepper. He offered to bring her some more lemon pepper seasoning or for him to retoss them in the seasoning. She asked if he could retoss them. He did just that, nothing changed. I wish I had taken a pic of unseasoned the wings were they looked like plain wings. My friends were super apologetic to me regarding the food not being good. I wasn't upset at all, just still hungry and disappointed at the service. My other friend ordered wings to so I'm not sure how her wings were. She felt bad that I was sitting there with untouched food in front of me so she asked could she please order me some food. I gave in and said i'll take a 7-piece sweet-chili flavor. The wings came, fried hard.. which was my first time trying them like that and I actually liked it! They were fried amazing but the sweet-chili sauce was definitely made in house and was weird tangy/vinegary.. idk. I definitely think the place has potential but rough around the edges.. the environment was nice..good music..felt clean. BUT to risk losing a new customer over a $15 meal is crazy to me. Its not like I wasn't trying to swap it for wings which was $20. I feel like that's bad business. Honestly not sure I would return.. my go to Spot is NC Tavern for AMAZING wings. Been meaning to try this place and finally got the chance and let me tell you this place did not disappoint. I am very critical about food. I'm a foodie and I love to eat good food. Our waitress was awesome! I should've got her name. She provided great customer service and suggested some cocktail drinks. She gave us the run down of their summer drink specials that were for $6, I wish I would've took a pic of it. My watermelon margarita was so yummy, It tasted just like a watermelon jolly rancher but with alcohol! Now that bartender can make a drink! This place was so relaxing and the music was great! Almost drove by this place and would have missed out. It's a "regular" looking place from the road but it's nice inside. Whoever does the cooking here has skills!
