Mike possesses a true mastery of his craft. I know a lot of people that would do a good job as long as there are no surprises. Mike will do an excellent job no matter the circumstances because he's probably seen it before and knows how to fix it. He has the confidence and knowledge to walk into a room and get to work. He's not going to call his manager or google the next step. He is the manager; he is the go-to guy. Secondly, he has a good eye for design too. For my vestibule, I had an idea of what I want. I explained it in my layman's terms and hazy descriptions and he saw what I was envisioning. I didn't need to over-explain it or draw a picture. He just got it. Also, and more importantly, he's honest. He gave me an estimate and stuck to it. That never happens. Anyone else would have charged extra when they discovered the subfloor was rotted, or when they saw a 10 degree slope in the corner. Mike didn't. He stuck to what he said and even fixed a few wall tiles in the kitchen - no charge. Not to mention, his prices are a bargain. People with half his skill, wanted a whole lot more. Lastly, he's a friendly guy. I know it can feel awkward having a stranger in your home. Not with Mike. He's trustworthy, down to earth, and you'll be friends in no time.

He didn't prepare the work area and my living room was covered in joint compound drippings and dust. The finished job is horrendous. There is a hump in the ceiling and the light switch covers no longer fit because he added too much compound around the switches. The last straw was today while putting my home back together I found his helper bent my metal radiator cover by stepping on.

Kevin and his team were sent out as sub-contractors for the tile repair. The insurance company paired us with a project manager to handle all aspects of the demolition and re-building of our two bathrooms. Long story short - we had a terrible experience with that project manager, and their other sub-contractors (the electrician, plumber, etc). The ONLY positive experience we had through the entire process was with Love Tile and Marble. Their workmanship was superior. They showed professionalism. And just as important, they showed respect for my home. These guys put down canvas to protect my hardwood floors and wiped their boots on the mat before they came in. It may seem like small gestures. But, through the 3 months of hellish renovations and dozens of contractors in and out of my home, the respectful ones stand out. After choosing my new floor tile, Kevin made suggestions on the pattern because of the imperfections in the tile (1/3 pattern, as opposed to the 1/2 pattern I originally wanted). I agreed with his suggestion and the floors came out beautifully! We also hired him again for other work, since we were so happy with his previous work. Extremely professional and the quality of work was outstanding. I had all the remaining carpet in my home removed which consisted of 3 bedrooms, a hallway 27 steps and a family room. We replaced all the steps with hardwood and the bedrooms, family room and hallway was replaced with LVP. When I tell you these guys are good, They are good. I had our first floor renovated in the house my grandparents bought in 1949. Underneath the dining…read moreroom and hallway carpet were the original floors made of Oak and Pine respectively. Floors I had never seen before until the renovation. The hallway floors also had tile on them which was underneath the carpet. Lucky all the floors were still in pretty good shape. My original kitchen contractor had pulled up the carpet and tile and sanded them. However, we parted ways before the job was done and I reached out to AC&T to do the floors because of their great reviews. It was true. Kevin amd his team are great! Kevin initially came out and looked at my floors, talked to me about what I wanted to do, made suggestions. The price for us was good and so we booked with them. We stayed in an airbnb for a few days while they worked on the floors because I was having them stained and we wouldn't be able to walk on them. The team came in and re-sanded all the floors including the steps and made them so much better. They also reinforced the steps and filled in any wood gaps all around. I was quite pleased with their work and would highly recommend to others. Kevin and his team are totally professional and get the job done.
