Small office, clean, kind staff. Dentist does good and efficient work, he doesn't talk too much but that's honestly okay, as long as things are being explained. Some appointments are randomly cancelled but staff does a good job following up to inquire about scheduling the next appointment. All in all, this is a fine dentistry establishment, being low income I don't expect rainbows and sparkles, but at the least, this place gets the job done. read more

This place is very unprofessional. I was referred to see a specialist at this office. They don't return calls and both times when someone answered they sound rude like they don't want to work there. They gave me the run around regarding my referral even though it had all the information on there for the reason of the appt from my dentist office. My dentist office and my insurance had the same copy of referral form with the info and the ladies at this office kept saying they don't have the right referral form when it was correct and it was a general referral. If they have such bad attitudes over the phone wonder how the service is in person and how professional and educated the specialists r here. My insurance company agreed to refer me to a better specialist with professionalism!!!! read more

This dental office is extremely unprofessional. I paid for root canals and crown upgrades, but after over a year, my crowns are still not placed.They keep canceling and canceling my appointments The first crown broke during placement, and I had to pay extra out of pocket because the doctor didn't recommend zirconia from the start. They even texted me that my case was back from the lab, then confirmed my appointment in writing but again canceled it. Saying the case is not back yet from the lab they are just liars!!! Their repeated cancellations, poor care, and lack of communication make this office completely unreliable. I regret paying in advance, Run run and don't come to this place I am going to file a complaint with the Dental Board of California. read more

Not very pleased. Firstly, I'm bothered by the fact that your office is open only Thursday's and Friday's. That alone will not work for me. secondly, I normally get a six month checkup. The office employee scheduled me one year from today. That won't work for me either. Thirdly, there were no safety glasses for me to wear during the cleaning process. Although I confirmed with them both appointments 2 on Tuesday, now they are lying to my face that I have no appointment at 12th. The earliest appointment they have is on February. I was very grateful to the dentist coz he took me right away and I don't have to wait for the root canal. He was very accommodating due to emergency. I have been suffering this pain for months and months. Supposed to be only consultation and I had a root canal, right away. So very grateful to the staffs too, they are all nice. This place has completely fallen apart. It used to be great, but now it's just a disaster of brainless staff and a completely unreliable, automated system. I scheduled an appointment to get a tooth repaired, showed up at the scheduled time, and was told my appointment was canceled because I didn't respond "yes" to some random text message. Are you kidding me? I don't open business text messages, especially when they're coming from spammy numbers I don't recognize. Whoever thought relying on this laughable, impersonal system to manage appointments needs their head checked. Unprofessional doesn't even begin to cover it. If you value your time and sanity, find a dentist office that actually knows how to treat its patients like human beings, not just numbers to text and forget. Very disrespectful staff. Even the dentist is equally rude. My MIL dont want to start the whole process again so we are waiting on her dentures. But BEWARE, RUN, RUN as fast as you can. They dont even pretend to smile or at least greet you when you come in. Just said to my MIL "Open your mouth!" This office is not only the worst dental office I've ever encountered, it's the worst business of All Businesses I've ever dealt with. I've tried to be understanding of their challenges. They let almost every incoming call go to the voicemail and then NEVER return any of the messages. I left over 30 messages over a 2 month period and not one call was returned. These were pleasant messages too. I drove 45 minutes for an appointment on Friday, March 3rd and was informed that the office was not open that day. Nobody called the day before or even that morning to advise and reschedule. My last visit was on March 10th which was 4 weeks behind their promised schedule. I tried to talk to the tech taking the impressions about the timeline and she said that she had to deal with upset patients all day long. I said that I wasn't upset and certainly not with her but she didn't want to hear anything about the breakdown in customer service. She said that they didn't make enough money from my insurance and that if I didn't like it I could go elsewhere and start the process All over. My mistake was in Not reading the reviews on Grove Dental Group. I only hope the Owner is aware and concerned about the staff's performance at this location. read more

It took 4 weeks to get an appointment. The office was small, crowded, and dingy. The exam rooms looked more like closets and the equipment was not up-to-date. The staff were very nice but they did not have a professional attire. Shorts and t-shirts. The dental hygienist was not friendly and did not change her gloves in between patients. The cleaning itself was not what it should have been. I kept getting the feeling the place wasn't clean, it was old and run-down. When they identified the plan of treatment we could not get a follow=up appointment for 4 more weeks. The day before that appt. the office called and said the doctor wasn't going to be in and we needed to reschedule. Another 4 week wait. That was just too much. I found a different dentist and am very pleased there. I would not recommend this particular office of this franchise dental group. read more

This place took my dad's information and scheduled an appointment. The dentist saw my dad and we scheduled an appointment for him to get replacement dentures. Today about 3 months later I get a call saying they don't take my dad's insurance which is Delta Dental. So, they wasted about three months of our time when my dad needs dentures now. It is a dirty, filthy office and they should have told me they didn't take his insurance on the first call. The receptionist is constantly on her cell phone and she is incompetent. They almost never answer the phone. I would have given them no stars if i could have. Good luck with these people. read more

This place is awful. Run as fast as you can. Tried to get a prescription filled for an infection and the pharmacy was unable to read the dentists name. Several calls were placed to the facility both by the pharmacist and myself. No one ever answered the phone. Over 79 calls placed, no one picked up. More than 10 messages left, no call back. Never got the prescription filled prior to having to get the tooth pulled. Luckily my neighbor had some amoxicillin and some 800 mg Motrin to get rid of the infection and deal with the pain so I was able to get the infected tooth pulled. Never an apology or a reason why? Why is there someone working the front desk if they are not answering the phone or checking messages??? I even called the emergency number listed on their message and the voicemail box was full! read more

I was assigned to this office, called, and left a message since no one picked up the phone several days ago. I did not receive a return call, so I decided to call again today shortly after their opening hours. Again, went straight to voice mail. I called several more times, since I saw many other Yelp and Google reviews of people not being able to speak to someone on the phone or not getting any return calls. Finally, the voice message on the 4th call today was different and led me to a directory to speak to a representative. I find out the earliest appointment as of today is in late August. I just accepted the appointment for September because that was the earliest I was available, and I figured going right at opening time at 8 am would be best if they run behind schedule. Through my insurance, initial visits are guaranteed within 4 weeks, so I called them up to ask if there was any way to help me with this situation. They were able to set me up with a different provider within a week, and now I've canceled my appointment with Grove Dental Group. The rep that I talked to said she was going to look into why Grove Dental Group's appointments are so delayed. I mentioned this pattern among others who have complained about this site, and she said that they don't see complaints on Yelp or Google, so if you're having issues with getting your care here, I suggest you look into talking to your insurance and they might be able to look into it for you and helping you get dental care in a timely manner. read more

I have to agree with most of the reviewers on this office and Dentist's lack of ethics and services. I was left out in the cold after they did two root canals. They were supposed to put on the crowns but they asked me to wait until the teeth "healed" property. One of them remained increasingly sensitive even after more than 4 months as they required me to wait. At my last visit the Doctor asked me to go back to whatever previous Office had done the work. However, this was themselves. Then I get a call from this office that they dropped me as a penitent due to me being "uncooperative" and notified my insurance company. To me this "uncooperative" response is another way of saying they do not want to take responsibility for their own work and offer no treatment options. Sort of oops, we screwed up and don't know what to do but to get rid of the evidence. To add insult to injury, the Doctor was aggressive, rude, and provided no reasonable cause for his actions. So, I am left with more pain and have to go to another provider. I did file a complaint with the CA Dental Board for unethical practices. read more
