I've had a few pieces of jewelry repaired and am very pleased. Very fast and professional service. This is my go-to jewelry repair shop.

I accidentally bought a ring online from another shop and it was a complete impulse buy and didn't realize the ring wasn't adjustable or my size for that matter. I typically buy rings that are adjustable so that's what I was used to and didn't check the size before I bought it. I still really like the design so I decided to drop by this jewelry shop to resize it to my size. Came by around 5:30pm on a Friday, Jafar, opened the door for me using the buzzer while he also helped the other customer ahead of me. While the other customer was working on his stuff, Jafar came over to me to help me out. I showed him my ring and he brought out his ring sizes for me to test since I wasn't sure what exactly was my size since I'm used to adjustable ones. I went for a 5 since I didn't want to go too big or too loose, just enough to go over the middle and fit comfortably. He took my ring after we decided on the size but I didn't see where he put it, figured he had it organized somehow and then he quoted me $20 and told me it was going to be ready next day. I filled out a little form and he said he would text me as soon as it was ready. I waited all day the next day and was a little bummed I couldn't get it that next day but didn't worry too much. I figured I'd pick it up Sunday but didn't realize they were closed on Sundays. Still nothing Monday so I decided to text him around 1pm to see if I can pick up. First of all, he replied calling me Amanda and telling me I could pick up. I gave my name when I first texted so the typo was odd lol. Dropped by after work, same time around 5:30. He buzzed me in from his chair in the back, completely chilling and figured he had a slow day. I greeted him happily and gave him my receipt for him to find my order. I kid you not, he was digging through so many bins trying to find my ring. I was literally panicking like great, he lost my ring lol. He finally found it in a little baggy with the name "Kim" on it and someone else's number... how?!? He pulled out my ring and gave it to me to try on but dude, it literally still had the tag attached to it from when I purchased it meaning he didn't even touch it. I reminded him it was supposed to be sized down to a 5. He took the ring and admitted he completely forgot about it and to give him 10 minutes to adjust it. I was like okay lol. I waited and it took less than 10 minutes, thankfully. It had discoloration where he adjusted it, had a copper ish color to it but by that point I just wanted to leave. The ring fit just fine, still a tad loose but doable. Paid him the $20 and left. Honestly I was surprised he still charged me after that whole mess but I'll probably be finding a different jewelry shop next time I need my ring resized.. IG: @ammysalamii read more

All I can say is SHAME ON HIM!!!!! Owner is a thief and a liar!!!!! My mother-in-law (who happens to have dementia and Alzheimer's) came in to his store with her caregiver to see if she could get a backing to an earring (not even a real gold earring) that she had lost. This thief sold her a backing for $50, yes $50- plus tax! the earrings are probably worth $5!!! So when I heard what she had done I IMMEDIATELY called the store and spoke to the owner- he told me to bring it back and he would give me her money back- he said and I quote: "i didn't want to sell it to her anyway- I sell gold for ((I can't remember the exact price) per ounce!!"So I brought it back, with the receipt and he had the nerve to tell me that this wasn't his and it wasn't even gold!!!!!!!!! Then why would stoop so low as to sell her this for $50? ‍‍ And that I had changed it- (I brought both earrings with both backings and he threw the other one back at me saying this isn't his either! of course not- that was the dollar backing from the other fake earring! So in reality he scammed and stole from her, taking advantage of a sweet elderly lady who was confused to begin with and sold her a plain old backing to an earring for $50 plus tax. I came here to sell gold because the reviews online looked OK. I presented my chain and asked how much he would offer me for my chain or if it was worth anything he asked me if I wanted to sell it I told him potentially. He proceeded to scrape and ruin my chain, completely squishing a portion of it, making it disfigured, then telling me that he was not interested in my chain because it was Hollow. I couldn't believe what I just saw happened to my chain. He didn't even stop after I said hey! What are you doing!? I don't recommend this guy. He's a crook. He was not nice at all. I do not usually like writing reviews, but to save anybody from going here I had to give my opinion of this shop. 1 star read more

I had my wife's grandmother's old wedding ring that had been cut into off of her after she passed. It was in two pieces, and I was hoping to turn it into a mother's ring for my wife, that would have been special for several reasons. I found Jafar, and not only was he incredibly helpful, the cost was really reasonable. When I had a slight alteration that had to be made to it, he did it quickly and didn't even charge me. Jafar also replaced batteries in three of my husband's watches, helped with adjusting the size for one watch and fixed a broken necklace. Jafar the owner of this place ruined a family heirloom. Not only did he take my money but he pretended to fix a piece for me which was gold only to attach Brass to my necklace. I'm hurt by the unscrupulous manipulation that happened here. I would not recommend this jeweler. read more

I don't know how to do a 4.5* rating or I would. I needed a hole made in a charm to wear as a necklace and I needed a safety chain put on an expensive bracelet. Both were done within the promised time frame and Jafar knew exactly what I wanted done. I also need a bale put on a charm so I went back here and he won't do it unless I bring in the chain that I want to use so that he can put the right size bale on. I came to replace a battery for my Cartier watch. They placed the wrong battery and damaged the watch. The watch stopped working and when I went back, they said there is something wrong with my watch and I should take it for repair. I went to a different store and they replaced the battery with the correct one and now the watch is working perfectly. I hope I can get my money back. read more

Update: My husband and I returned to the store to rectify the situation with the ring. It was confirmed the ring was real gold and the issues I had with the ring were explained to me. We were able to work out a solution with the owner and she ensured that I was well taken care of. She made sure I was satisfied with a suitable replacement and followed up with me throughout the whole process until I received it. I happen to stumble upon this jewelry store as I was heading to get my favorite milk tea nearby. There of my designer watches needed batteries, a gold earring needed to be repaired and 4 gold necklaces were tangled. I had them with me as I was hoping to find a jeweler open during Covid times. This is great place for engraving! I wanted to buy an engraved bracelet for my cousin's bat mitzvah and first went to things remembered in the mall. They wanted to charge me over a $100 for a cheap silver bracelet with just her name. My friend recommended that I come here, and I'm so glad I did!
