I'm very much considering reporting jewelry to the Better Business Bureau. Theyre scammers and I would never come back to buy anything from here . I purchased something around July 29 end of the month and I went to go pick it up in store. I had went in to go try to make an exchange, but I had to make a return since they don't do exchanges I was waiting to get my money back like any normal person I wasn't looking at my bank account. Please make it make sense how does somebody go and pick up a ring at a business like this without being charged !!!!!!!? I was Already charged for this transaction and had purchased this online that's how I got my ring now when I went back and I got the return done because I was trying to exchange it I was waiting for a return payment. That never came . August 2 when I made the return, they fucking charge me again. never even got the return money back !!! I got charged twice and I've been explaining and going back-and-forth with my bank about this and they just now. Kay took their money back but they charged me twice ! What a bunck of thiefs for a corporation . and yes, I do blame them. This is for their lack of timely transactions. if something is purchased online, it should be fucking showing in your account and it should be there no less than two days after . doesn't make sense how someone can go and pick up a ring without having charged already so that's what makes it very fishy to me and it doesn't make sense either. My husband surprise me with a wedding ring. Unfortunately, they did not fit so he just brought me in to get me resized and the customer service was amazing. They were so helpful so knowledgeable of all the rings and they even brought us some sparkling cider to make it a nice experience. But then another older lady came, I think she was the boss or manager. She told the lady who was helping us to go help another customer and she was more aggressive with going for the more expensive wedding band. She was also trying very hard to push the engagement ring into these wedding band where it goes into the middle. I didn't appreciate that so I told my fiancée to not let her touch it again. I went there to buy my wife's engagement ring, and they were so helpful in laying out all of their best rings. I ended up going with a Vera Wang because as Anthony Marantino from "Sex and the City" once said: "You want pasta, you go to Little ltaly. You want wedding, you go Wang." My husband got me a bracelet for our anniversary but was too big so we decided to get it resize or I can have it exchange. This hasn't been a problem yet, but I was informed of this the last time I was there. Their customer service is not good at all. I called to find out if my ring was ready to be picked up and on the phone the woman told me yes. When I went in after about 15 minutes of searching they told me it was not in. My fiancé purchased a ring in store about a year ago to propose with. Since then we have done all of our business with them because they have been super helpful. I work right down the street whereas my fiancé works an hour away so it is obviously more convenient for me to pick any orders up. Every single time this has been fine and most of the workers even know me and are aware. This last time we ordered a ring and again requested for me to pick it up since it had been delivered and the MANAGER Greg would NOT allow me to pick up the order. When asking why he advised he can only put one name on the order to pick up and we asked again why have I been able to every other time and there is no issue. He continued saying he can only put one name. No explanation. He was super rude and not accommodating AT ALL. Oh my gosh, these people have been taking care of me for years, but today I got really incredible service and I wanted to share my experience in detail this time. I came in today only to get my ring fixed, but with Mary and Abe's help, I walked away with a few pieces of jewelry that I am in love with! Ok, so first let me start by saying that Mary was extremely helpful, friendly, and she really helped me with my warranty items and called me as soon as my ring came in. Mary, thank you for your help, you saved me! Since I didn't come in ready to buy something new, I wasn't looking for anything in particular. Abe was very patient with me while I looked around the whole store. He has a very warm, friendly vibe. He pulled all the pieces of jewelry I liked and gave me info about every piece including the sale price. I didn't feel rush or pressured at all, which is something you don't find often at jewelry stores. I walked away with 3 pieces of jewelry and I am so happy and excited! Thank you all for the great experience!!! And FYI, if you read the other reviews here, don't pay any mind to the ones that just write a review because they didn't get what they want, at the end of the day this is jewelry and it's expensive. I am ssooo disappointed and upset with this store! I came in for a ring inspection of my EverUs diamond ring. While having that one inspected, I handed over my ten thousand dollar diamond ring to have inspected as well since I was there. They found a loose in my EverUs, and proceeded to tell me that I had low quality diamonds in my ring and it could have been possible my diamonds were swapped out since I've yet to see an x-ray of them. How rude and unprofessional! Then told me nothing was wrong with my other ring. Yet a QUARTER KARAT DIAMOND FELL OUT of my ten thousand dollar ring!!! I'm so upset. I originally called to get info on my husband and my ring through our warranty, and rather than assist me the young lady who answered says "I don't know anything about you, your name, your number so uhmmm I'm not sure how to help you" Typically, Kay Jewelers employees have asked me "Can I get your name and number?" in order to assist me. So disappointed by her response, I hung up and was going to attempt to call another Kay jewelers for assistance, but decided to call the establishment again to let her supervisor know the inappropriate manner in which she spoke to me. When I called back, a man by the name of Greg answered the phone and when I began to tell him my issue with the previous employee who answered, he was no help at all. Very dry tone, rude in his response and extremely abrupt. When I asked, "are you the supervisor?", and he responded with "yes I am" I couldn't help but laugh. If the manager of the establishment has no regard for treating his customers with respect and professionalism, how could we expect his employees to display pride themselves on exceptional customer service?
