Wish I read reviews before coming but I was in a rush to fix my bracelet ASAP!!! Please do not come here. My bracelet had one broken link so I figured it wouldn't be too bad to bring in. I explained when I went it I needed the link fixed with said bracelet not have it removed and just reattached, said yes I can do it and took the bracelet. It has a repeated pattern of 3 small links and 1 long link. The 1 long link in the bracelet was the one damaged. Two days later when picking it up they had removed the link that was broken and just connected my bracelet back together. So now there was 6 small links next to each other with 1 long one missing in between. When I mentioned it NOW I WAS IN THE WRONG. Now he states Im the one who brought it with the link missing. I purposely took a picture before bringing it in and showed him the link still attached to the bracelet in the picture. Yes the link was broken but it was still on the bracelet when I brought it in. He took it back and said he'd look for the "missing piece". Another 2 days later I pick it up and states he "checked the cameras and I came in without the piece" and he had to replace the long link with one of his own, when I know for a fact I did but wouldn't show me the proof. The worst place you can go with your jewelry project. They took a project to make a bracelet out of solid chain. Total weight 103 g. After two weeks back and fort they decided that they cannot do it and returned the chain in bad condition. There are still some areas on the chain where you can see that they've worked on. Also they returned it to me with 1 1/2 g less and told me that this will be for polishing it. I just turned around and left because I was very unhappy and didn't wanna see them ever again. I honestly wished I read the reviews before coming in but I was very desperate. I have a loose diamond that i bought online. I wanted to replace the cz on my ring w this diamond I got. The minute I walked in the very first thing he asked was how much I got the diamond for. And he went on saying how it's not a very good diamond. Then kept insulting it. I get it.. it's not a very good quality but I liked it.. was happy with it and the price I got it for. I'm not much into the clarity and color of the diamond. But he jst kept insulting it the whole time. I almost didn't wanna get it fixed there but I was very desperate to get it done since I didn't have much time. I wish I could say that he was just trying to get his business out by saying I shouldn't have bought the diamond online and jst go to him instead. If I could give zero stars, I would! Stay away as far as possible from this place! The owner is extremely rude and a thief. I had an open layaway that a deposit was put down and NO signed agreement nor layaway policy was ever in effect. I came back to retrieve my deposit and explained that I could not purchase the item due to the fact that my mother is sick and I have been out of the country taking care of her. He refused to refund it and stated that I could have something else for my deposit. I respectfully declined. He told me he didn't care about my mother and that he was a business man! This is a very small store in a large, outdoor shopping area. I have been in two times now for repairs, and both times was very impressed. The first visit was for a repair and cleaning of my wife's wedding ring. The owner examined the ring carefully, recommended a couple of repairs, said he could do the work in a time frame that was very impressive, and then quoted me an exceptional price. The work was of the highest quality and my wife was extremely happy. This week, I went in because I have a ring the band needed some repair on. Again, the owner delivered. Not only was the repair done flawlessly, but he even cleaned it so it looked like new. Being a small location, the selection of items for sale is limited. One of the most unpleasant experiences ever for my boyfriend. He was going to look at engagement rings this morning to surprise me. Well, there goes the surprise. The sign CLEARLY said open, BUT because my boyfriend was in his WORK clothes he said the store was "closed". If you ask me, I could say he was being racist and prejudice. My boyfriend works hard EVERY single day to earn his money. Now more than ever with the way our "political system" is "working" we see this more than ever. on F3/19/2021 i went to Norman's Fine Jewelry to have 2 band rings repaired from sloppy work that was done to my rings by a previous jeweler. he could see the defects done to my rings. so i gave them to him to fix in trust from his professional knowledgeable words. originally it was a few dollars to fix the defects on the rings and later $60 to have them re-sized to 4-3/4 (4.75). i also had a baggie of gold pieces from a bracelet and pieces left over from the previous jeweler ring sizing to use, should he need it. i was told the rings would be ready either Saturday or Monday. after leaving his business, i had called him at 5:38pm to change ring size to 4.5 (4-1/2), not knowing his business hours. his business card does not indicate business hours. i had left him my number and message, repeating my self several time. the next day, Saturday 3/20/2021 i never received any calls from Norman to confirm my change in ring size. so i called his business number shown on his business card and he informs me he never checks his cell messages and the rings were already started on. i informed him i had left him a voice message from his business card number to change the ring sizes from 4.75 to 4.50. he didn't like the mistake, but OK'ed it. on Monday i called to see if my rings were done. i was told to come on Tuesday. on Tuesday morning, i get a voice mail message from Norman, that my rings were ready. when i went to collect my rings on Tuesday mid morning, i see the rings looking distorted, i see gold not properly spread and the round shape were not round. when i brought it up to his attention, i was informed the rings were old. that is not what a professional jeweler, business man says to clients. i then further asked him about the scrap gold pieces i had in a baggie, and he informs me it was all used up. BS words because, when i had brought it to his attention upon our 1st meeting, he informs me he could not use it, it does not work that way, but still took my scrap gold baggie. i have pictures of scrap gold baggie. i am sorry i did not read the reviews before going to him. he is exactly what other people had described him, as a thief. i almost gave him another ring to fix but after the quality work i got back from him, i paid for my rings and left. as other reviewer say, STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY. read more

Norman has to be one of the rudest, coldest. unhappiest, unpleasant, angriest man I have ever met. No other way to say it. I don't know how he's still in business. You walk right in, he will be playing candy crush on his iPad, he won't say hello, he'll just simply look at you in disgust. The only time he almost smiled was when my 2 year old said waved at him and even then he busted a sweat just to almost smile. I've been here multiple times, and the only reason why I keep coming back is because he actual does decent work for a good price. I needed the piece of the back of an earring, in an effort to support local business I go to Norms. Norm was not welcoming. He might have been having a bad day but at the end of the day this was my experience. He gave short abrupt answers, I asked if the earring was real, he gave no answer. He replaced the piece of the back of the earring and said $15. I told him that my wife had lost this earring that was given to her by her mother before she passed away and somehow I found it and planned to give it to her on Christmas. He didn't seem to care I thought nothing of it. He gives me back the tiny earring and I ask if it's possible to receive a box. He said he had no boxes, I said to him I'm willing to pay for the box I would like to have a way to wrap the gift to give to my wife. Seeming to be angry he produces a box, I say I'm sorry for making you upset this earring means a lot to my wife. That's when he really got upset and declared he was not upset! By far the rudest treatment that I've ever experienced at at retail establishment. The first time I went in several years ago to get a watch battery, the gentlemen broke my watch and then blamed me. Then, today, I went in to see if I could get a ring size and look at the jewelry, and he asked me if I was just going to get the jewelry online, and then pretty much threw the ring sizer on the counter. No questions. No hello. No helpfulness. Nothing. I'm sure customers would be more likely to come back if he weren't so nasty right off the bat. While I had not ruled out getting a ring there, after today I will go anywhere else first, including online. I went next door to Ross, where I also looked for rings and told them of my experience. Like Kristina C, I took two of my watches to have the batteries replaced. They have done this task without any problem in the past. The last time however he had a hard time with one of my watches ,he disappeared into the back area for a longer time than usual . To make a long story short ..a week later the watch was not working the second hand was off the hands -pivot feature. We were very polite and from the moment we asked if he could measure our ring, he began to make a face and claimed "somebody borrowed my ring measurer and didn't bring it back."
