Went in to look at some wedding bands. The sales man (so I do not Insult anyone) was trying to help. He showed us 2 thin wedding bands (with prices of 2k each). Probably we did not communicate well. I showed him a picture of a band that I was looking for from "Zales" to show him what I wanted. This guy saw the ring and saw that it was 1000 bucks and immediately dismissed us say "ok, ok, ok go". So I asked him "I am showing you the ring size I want, why are you refusing to help now?" We decided to leave after that bad service. It's not my fault that their employees are rude!!!! Please avoid a headache, do not go to this place.

Had a great experience here. Went to look for my wedding bands for my wedding in December and found exactly what I wanted for me and my fiancé. They gave me such a great deal that I couldn't say no and look anywhere else. The ring I picked would be ready next week and my fiancés will need to be special ordered but they made sure it will be available in time for our wedding date. Abby was really helpful in finding what I was looking for !

It is super stressful shopping for engagement rings and I went to lots of places, but Raffi at Kevin Jewelers made my life so much easier. I picked out the ring I knew I wanted and rather than an infinite back and forth on price, Raffi made me a deal I couldn't refuse right off the bat. No haggling. Straight up just cut to the chase and took great care of me. I even came back with my fiancée to get my wedding badn because I knew we didn't need to go anywhere else. Nobody in the store .. nobody working on anything and you turn down a customer for a battery should be no more than $25 And this guy tries to tell me because it's a tag that he's gonna charge $45 to change my battery that cost only about four bucks for the battery. Bad business bad deals For the record, I just went to a jewelry store that has been around for over 40 years here in Northridge and he literally laughed at the prices from you guys and fixed my watch for $15 and I gave him 20 a five dollar tip. Yes he was the owner and he did it within five minutes. read more

A couple weeks ago, my fiancée and I were in full-on wedding crunch mode --our big day was getting close, and we still didn't have our rings. Classic us... always waiting until the last minute. SCAMMERS!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!! My fiance bought my engagement ring from Kevin Jewelers on 3/19/2024. On 3/22/2024 I took it in to get appraised for insurance purposes and was asked to provide my diamond's certificate to help with appraisal process. I was notified by the appraiser that my ring was severely over priced by Kevin's Jewelers and that my fiance paid over $1,500 more for the ring than what it was worth. On top of this the IGI diamond grading summary report given to us upon purchase to certify the quality of the diamond is inconclusive data. It shows a range of grade for both diamond clarity and color. This is not how diamond grading works, there is no range of clarity grade: VVS(2) - VS(1) or color grade: F-G. . I tried verifying the certificate report number through IGI's online verification portal and nothing pulls up. I have emailed all the diamond grading institutions that are listed under Kevin's Jewelers website that they use and GIA, AGS and EGL all have responded to me saying that the report number on the paperwork provided by Kevin's Jewelers is not a valid report number for their institution. I want to return this ring since it is not the quality the certificate says and I know this because its been appraised for much less than purchase price. Customer service at the Northridge location has been terrible, they have refused to refund me and have said they don't even have the computer system abilities to process a refund. I would like my money back on this ring because I am not happy with the quality of this ring. This has been such a negative experience and has ruined such a happy time in my life. read more

I was a fan of Kevin Jewelers but after my latest experience I won't be returning. I came in to get earrings for my toddler and the ones I had been eyeballing were on sale, so that was nice. Today I put them on her and two hours later I noticed the screw on backing was gone. Thankfully the earrings was still there. I headed straight to the Lancaster location, which is closer to where I live, to see what they could do for me. Apparently they don't have spares in store, they have to be ordered. Oh, and it turns out they need the actual earring sent in so they can provide the correct backing. AND this whole process takes WEEKS. They weren't able to tell me IF they could provide another backing, if/or how much it would cost me. I called into the Northridge location, where they were purchased, and where all my jewelry has been purchased but they weren't much help. The store manager said I could bring in the erring to see what the jeweler could do but he didn't seem very reassuring. If one location can't do it then how could another? Also, the manager pretty much talked over me and finally I had to stop him and say that I'm just going to see if the other location can provide another backing but that I'm disappointed in the quality of the earring . I'm worried about letting her wear them now, I fear that one might get lost next time. **Just for reference, my daughter has worn push pin earrings from Claire's for 9 months and they have never even came close to falling off. And they cost a fraction of the price. read more

Today I walked in and wanted to show them a necklace my dog accidentally ripped off my neck. I just wanted the pendant checked and make sure it was secure. It's a family heirloom and means the world to me. I would've so upset if it came off the chain. She checked it and fixed it for me immediately. I asked how much I owed and she said nothing. It was so kind of them to fix it for me. Now I won't be worried I might lose it. It meant the world to me. I highly recommend this place.

I looked for any evidence of anything not looking right.....(trust me, I LOOKED) My ring looks brand new. My husband and I are so incredibly grateful, we left with big smiles. Came by around 5:30pm on a Friday, Jafar, opened the door for me using the buzzer while he also helped the other customer ahead of me. While the other customer was working on his stuff, Jafar came over to me to help me out. I showed him my ring and he brought out his ring sizes for me to test since I wasn't sure what exactly was my size since I'm used to adjustable ones. I went for a 5 since I didn't want to go too big or too loose, just enough to go over the middle and fit comfortably. He took my ring after we decided on the size but I didn't see where he put it, figured he had it organized somehow and then he quoted me $20 and told me it was going to be ready next day. I filled out a little form and he said he would text me as soon as it was ready. I waited all day the next day and was a little bummed I couldn't get it that next day but didn't worry too much. I figured I'd pick it up Sunday but didn't realize they were closed on Sundays. Still nothing Monday so I decided to text him around 1pm to see if I can pick up. First of all, he replied calling me Amanda and telling me I could pick up. I gave my name when I first texted so the typo was odd lol. Dropped by after work, same time around 5:30. He buzzed me in from his chair in the back, completely chilling and figured he had a slow day. I greeted him happily and gave him my receipt for him to find my order. I kid you not, he was digging through so many bins trying to find my ring. I was literally panicking like great, he lost my ring lol. He finally found it in a little baggy with the name "Kim" on it and someone else's number... how?!? He pulled out my ring and gave it to me to try on but dude, it literally still had the tag attached to it from when I purchased it meaning he didn't even touch it. I reminded him it was supposed to be sized down to a 5. He took the ring and admitted he completely forgot about it and to give him 10 minutes to adjust it. I was like okay lol. I waited and it took less than 10 minutes, thankfully. It had discoloration where he adjusted it, had a copper ish color to it but by that point I just wanted to leave. The ring fit just fine, still a tad loose but doable. Paid him the $20 and left. If I can give the place a zero star I would this is one of the worst scamming businesses. Never buy jewelry here!!!!!! My girl friend bought me this chain for my gift for Christmas and was very grateful for it but when she told me the price I was in shock I told her to return it. Because they over charged her by 1,000 dollars. The guy that sold it to here was a man named raffi in the Northridge Mall he is middle Eastern man he one of the biggest scammer I've ever meet. He told my girlfriend that she can return the chain anytime!!! But when she went to return the chain the guy said the don't have a return policy after the fact he said with his own words there is one. That right there by law is a verbal agreement By the establishment. She left crying because she was scammed out of her money. She went to another jeweler and told her the situation she had and he looked at the chain and said this is not worth the money she bought it. He said it was a Thousand less anywhere else. This A poor little girl that he could take Advantage of. I was very upset to hear this so I called the establishment I talked to the main manager he was even worst person in the salesman. I told him about the situation he said he knew about it and he also said It was wore chain which was not true I've never taken it out of the box no one ever took it out of the box he was adding lies so he can be in the right.I told him it wasn't right and how they treated her. He told me then sue me then hung up the phone. He never tried doing anything he never even tried apologizing for what happen. Super shady jewelry store in the Northridge Mall. I used to get great deals downtown but swithed to paying retail at honest franchise mall jewelers over the years. I realized it's better to pay retail for local customer service in the long term. However, when shady salespeople lie to make a sale and the store overinflates their retail prices just to make you feel like you got a deal when they offer a discount is down right unethical. I realized the day after I bought an item that I was bold face lied to by the salesperson about it's diamond Karat content and it being the "Newest Style" ...so I went to return it. When I went back and confronted the salesperson about the innacuracy in the diamond karat weight, she said she lumped both the ruby and diamond karats into her statement, Not True. If an item has 2 karats of diamonds and 2 karats of another jewel, you don't say its 4 karats. Anyway, the salesperson referenced their 7 day exchange only policy as indicated on the receipt. Even though the Kevin Jewelers website states they have a 30 day return policy, each stores reserves the right to have their own policy. Rather than making a fuss I allowed them to roll me over with the exchange option. When I picked out a different item, which I almost bought at a different store next door, the salesperson said "Sorry, No discount !!!" Even though I could buy the item online for about $500 less or next door for $250 less and get it right away. I payed over retail just to get out of the original item I was tricked into buying. So even the exchange policy is bogus, STAY AWAY!!! read more

Natalia is the best jewelry salesperson I've ever interacted with. She's kind, caring, and doesn't pressure you into anything. Not being pressured makes a huge difference in the shopping experience. Before Kevin's, I shopped at other major jewelry stores, and the service is nowhere near as professional as the service at Kevin's. Also Kevin's quality is much higher than one of the stores I used to shop at, and that same one, would encourage you to purchase insurance for the pieces. Many of the pieces I bought from them would break, and/or the stone falling out of the setting. I've yet to encounter any problems with the pieces I've purchased from Kevin's. i recommend Kevin's in Northridge Mall to anyone looking for a superior jewelry shopping experience. read more

I went to Kevin Jewelers with my wife because I needed a new wedding band. We first shopped around many other jewelers in the mall so I knew the accurate prices of my exact bands. Seta helped us out and was amazing. The quality of product and great discounts she offered was awesome! It was such a good deal we ended up getting 2 new wedding bands and my wife got me a gold rope chain as well! Talk about my lucky day.
