The staff at Grove all provide great service, from the baristas, who are really architects of caffeinated beverage, to the surf (mixed space) product managers. My barista made a perfect, super hot Cortado, a drink from Spain that is not often on coffee menus. I brought my own vacation carrot cake for breakfast but don't mistake my eccentricity for not ordering a sweet here. The Grove makes high quality pastries, cookies, and accompaniments to your coffee. I came back after a day at St Pete Beach and shared something I thought would be a foo-foo drink. But the Bananas Foster latte was delicious, subtle, not too sweet, and paired well with the strawberry jam oat bar, the latter tasting very home made and fresh, at 4:30 pm. I would never order a drink like this but one taste hooked me. The Grove has about 7-900 square feet of retail space with great quality surf gear, clothing, niche sunglasses, wallets, purses and more. If you're in St Pete or passing through, don't miss The Grove. I was excited to try this spot, a co-share space, so close to two breakfast restaurants that didn't serve iced lattes. They use "Bandit" brand coffee, roasting in St. Petersburg. It had great flavor. I enjoyed the carrot cake tho' I'd characterize it as overly sweet. The spinach pastry for next day was wonderful, tho' light on spinach. When I was there it appeared chaotic at the coffee bar-3 people behind the bar serving the 1 customer (me), so not very "zen-like" in this shop. The clothing was trendy beach clothes but mostly for the young and higher priced. Everything was too close together for what I'd call pleasant shopping. They carry the best surf and beach brands with new products often. Plus, the seasonal drinks are fun and keep me coming back. What a great spot! I was looking for a fancy coffee and stepped in while waiting for a table at a breakfast spot that I knew wouldn't have what I was craving. The coffee bar at Grove had several interesting choices and I had a hard time deciding. I ended up with the Bananas Foster latte and it was delicious. I also wanted to buy almost everything in the store. All the merchandise was displayed nicely and the store was bright and welcoming. Staff was friendly and helpful in all areas. My absolute favorite coffee shop in St. Pete. I love everything about this place. The drinks are always delicious. They partner with other local businesses to give the drinks a unique twist. They also have a small selection of bakery items. Everything I have tasted is great. The "surf shop" part of the store has a ton of cute swimsuits, outfits and gifts. I already own 2 Grove shirts & I have my eye on a hat next. Everyone that works there is super nice. The owners are always there & you can tell they put their heart into it. And the best part.. it is dog friendly. Brodie loves going to The Grove so he can get a treat & Hoover under any other table for crumbs. Super cute shop! My husband and I stopped in to see the place and grab some coffee. They have a great setup during the pandemic to protect employees and customers. I loved the iced toasted coconut latte and my husband enjoyed the cold brew. They even put actual toasted coconut flakes on top in the drink. The shop is spacious and has various items like clothing/shoes, jewelry, drink ware, trinkets, etc. We will probably be back for the coffee again soon! read more

I leave the wave catching to my husband, but you know what I can catch? Good, good, good, good vibrations. And never have they been as contagious as they are at Arvo Surf and Coffee. There is a lot to love about this new spot. Like the fact that they serve Bandit coffee, for example. And they even feature their own specialty drinks with them. Currently they offer Orange Vanilla as well as Toasted Coconut. I've tried both, and cannot pick a favorite. They also have an assortment of Mana Bakery items for sale (you already know I'm a sucker for Mana scones). The space is wicked awesome. Minimalist and trendy but not overly so. It just kinda feels like a really great breath of fresh air. There is plenty of seating and even a few tables outside. The space is configured in a way that makes in and out service super accessible. The store portion has all the best brands ONeil, Rainbow, etc.... And the merchandising is done in a way that makes shopping so much fun. They even have some of their own merch. Above all this is my new go to spot because the owners are simply the coolest. I love their energy. I've never seen smiles radiating through masks as well as they do here. Grove is one of my all time favs for sure. My regular drink is either the toasted coconut or orange vanilla latte iced with oatmilk. They use Bandit coffee (amazing coffee btw) and they just have a way with perfecting every drink they put out! I do get their season iced lattes as well - PSL and peppermint - I'm sure there's more. I have never been disappointed by the quality and flavor. The baristas kill it, they are also super friendly! At grove you can buy a pastry and iced latte and then walk around and shop their high quality clothes and bathing suits. They also have super cute jewelry! Their decor is minimalist but so so cool with all of the Florida photos hanging on the wall. 10/10 RECOMMEND! read more

The latte and cappuccino were on point. They have delicious breakfast pastries too. I even picked up a shirt, sweatshirt, and car air freshener from their shop. I wish I had taken pictures of my perfect iced toasted coconut latte...but it was 100% the best cup of coffee I've had in ages. It wasn't overly sweet. It was the perfect ratio of coffee and cream. The barista was so kind and friendly. This quickly became one of my favorite coffee spots I've been to. I always dig and find the best coffee shops, or ones with the best options before going on vacations, and I'm so glad I found this one. Great selections of shop branded merchandise (coffee shop tees are my favorite souvenir), and tons of beachwear, shoes, etc. I also loved their kids selection. If you're in the area...GO!
