I have used them as a provider for four months, but I'm breaking up with them today…read more 1. They were nice enough in my first visit, but scheduled my appointment with a doctor who told me during our visit that he was quitting. Why would they place a new patient with a therapist who was leaving? 2. They are incessant about their TMS option. When I told them that the approximate $4,000 (!!!) cost was way out of my price range, they "discounted" it down to $1,000 magically, and repeatedly called me to schedule an appointment, even though I told them that was still too expensive at this time. 3. They have required a monthly visit the first four months, even though I was seeing my previous therapist once every six months for a condition I've had under control for 4+ years. 4. On this last visit, I was told by the provider that it would be two months until my next visit, and wrote me a prescription for 60-days instead of 30-days. 5. I was randomly assigned an appointment for today, one month after my last appointment. I did not schedule it, I did not ask for it. 6. Their office charged me $75 for a no-show appointment this morning. 7. The front desk receptionist, who obviously hates her job, told me that I was wrong about my appointment date, the follow-up date, and had no response when I asked why I would be scheduled for a 30-day check-in when my therapist wrote me a 60-day prescription. Seems to me like one of those groups that is taking advantage of the mental health provider shortage by treating their patients like cattle, nickel and diming them along the way. I've already opened a credit card dispute, but wanted to hop on here to warn everyone that this may be a good short-term solution if you are in desperate need of an appointment immediately, but find a solid practice with ethics and morals for the long-term.

During our consistent meeting schedules, she was able to help me pinpoint events that have led me to make the choices I have made. I have been able to self reflect with purpose and to give myself grace. Jocelyn emphasized that we are human and have needs and it's okay to be vulnerable within reason. If you fall down, you can and will get back up. I was a little apprehensive about the video sessions because I really wanted to be in person, but I found the online sessions to be secure and accommodating... I could keep my appointments consistent without having to drive, which is always a plus. In listening to my chronicles of life as a middle aged woman, Jocelyn continued to challenge me with small tasks: scheduling time for myself, setting and practicing personal boundaries, and the biggest challenge was starting my own Youtube channel as a hobby and possible revenue stream. I took notes. I doubted myself. I procrastinated. But at the end of the day, she was right...I got that channel started and have been keeping myself in check with my personal care. The real healing and growth takes place after you complete your therapy where you have to apply the lessons you have learned on your own. So, if you are on the fence about seeking therapy, take the plunge and begin. Get on the phone today and ask for Jocelyn and she will get you to the best version of yourself.

From my very first conversation with Dr. Nicole, she made me feel comfortable. She took the time to tell me about herself, asked thoughtful questions about my daughters, and really wanted to understand their personalities and needs. What I appreciated most was how personal and collaborative the process felt. She took the time to get to know both me and my girls, and we worked together throughout their journey. I could share things going on in their lives that might help guide conversations during sessions, and she was always supportive and understanding. She was also incredibly flexible and helpful with our constantly changing schedules. Most importantly, both of my daughters genuinely enjoy their sessions with her and feel connected and comfortable talking with her. I'm so grateful that she has been a safe and open door for them as they've grown up -- especially through big milestones like one of them graduating. I've truly been able to see positive emotional growth and maturity in both of them. As an added bonus, she was able to work with our Kaiser insurance, which made the process even easier for our family. I highly recommend Dr. Nicole to any parent looking for someone caring, personable, and genuinely invested in helping kids thrive.

However my joint session with my ex-husband and Erin was literally the turning point of the failure of our marriage. He was a complete narcissist, and during the session, I remember clearly discussing something heavy and crying, and my ex was literally "shooting the shit" with her, talking over me (typical dismissive gaslighting behavior I was accustomed to)...and she was chuckling with him. Ignored me as I tried to finally open communication with him. Then she literally looked at me and in front of him, said, "I think you are the problem." So the "safe place" turned into another episode of the 'Todd Show'. Humiliating beyond belief and I felt like I was thrown under the bus of my own trip to healing. WTF?! Well, years after our divorce, I am happy, self-sufficient, and healthy, which is what matters the most. Maybe she could've been more present during our sessions, she didn't even remember some extremely traumatic events in my childhood I shared. Which is hard enough to do as is. Take notes, please Erin. That experience with you still haunts me to this day and I often wonder, had I selected a therapist with more experience, maybe I wouldn't be a single mother now? She is a great person, I did feel comfortable with her so I don't mean any harm with this review. But I am the one with these depressing memories of what could've been....everything happens for a reason? Or did I manifest the end of my union by hiring her. Sadly I flaked on the last of the appointments because I didn't have the nerve to tell her I was angry and disappointed.

She has been consistently open-minded, non-judgmental, and empathetic. She is a good listener and a good communicator.
