While reviewing my skin condition, Dr. Hesterman checked out a mole which seemed to be changing and performed an immediate biopsy then submitted the tissue to a lab for review. A skin cancer was detected and I have received further treatment and review to make sure no further issues developed. Dr. Hesterman and her staff have been very professional and supportive as well as effective in their efforts throughout my treatments. I am very pleased with her and her office staff.

Dr. McLain went over a couple of options and explained the benefits and risks of each. I was given the opportunity to review the cost of the procedure and decide without pressure how I would like to proceed. I was out of his office within 30 minutes of arriving. Although the time was short, I was completely satisfied; so much that I made my appointment for my procedure that day. My next appointment was for my procedure. Again, I was greeted warmly by his staff who remembered me. As I was anxious, I was grateful that again that I waited a very short time to be taken for my procedure. The night of my procedure, I received a call from Dr. McLain from his personal cell for follow up. That truly impressed me and showed me his level of commitment to those in his care. I cannot stress enough how warm and welcoming Dr. McLain and his staff presented themselves to me. Having any surgical procedure is very stressful. However, my stress level was relatively low due to the atmosphere they have created. I highly recommend Dr. McLain and have since move all my continuing business to his facility. Not only have they changed in a year, but they are more than doubled what I paid at the end of 2024! She looks at my tattoo and said I don't know if machine will even work on the tattoo. So they have some fancy tattoo pico machine they want to charge a lot of money for and it doesn't fade tattoos!! I do not recommend anyone to go there for a tattoo removal.

I bought the LivingSocial deal for Laser Hair Removal because it was such a deal ($100 for 6…read moretreatments in a small area, like underarms). Dr. Degraaff is great. When she first meets you she talks you through everything. She tells you how the laser works, what it will feel like, what you'll see in the weeks to come, etc. She has a great "bed side manner" and she seems to never be running behind schedule. If you're doing the laser hair removal you'll need to go back every 6 weeks for at least 6 treatments. The laser works best on dark hair and the area needs to be shaved prior to each treatment. The pain is not too bad, kinda feels like getting popped with a hot rubber band and it's really quick. I very rarely wait longer than 5 minutes in the waiting room, and once I'm back in an exam room I'm in and out in another 5 minutes. The staff here is great and when I complete my treatment I'll provide an update!

That was the last time I went to them. My insurance covers the treatments, and my new chiropractor told me " how would they know how many treatments you need a year ahead of time? Why isn't your insurance paying anything?" They tried to put me under a payment plan too, and I wasn't going for it, not to mention there's too many people for the appointment, I had the first appointment and there was 4 people already waiting too, too much marketing for this office and not enough patient care/quality time. My opinion, I'd rather drive to Decatur Al and get my dr to do it, than go here.

I have had 4 chiropractors, not including this office in that time and I just moved here. First of all its really loud for a chiropractic office. Sitting in a really loud space where the employees yell to greet you when your trying to be calm and serene is frustrating. Second, while your sitting waiting WATCH the adjustment they give others and you'll see its the same adjustment they give you, unless you bring up an issue. I've been to other chiropractors who have the same open concept and they definitely never did the exact same adjustment on me that they gave to my kids or other patients. This office runs at a really fast pace. I did ask the front desk person if they could slow it down when I'm in there and she said that this place wasn't for me when I brought up my concerns. I was told they will not slow it down when I am in there for my adjustment and that they always run at this fast pace. Last, they never contacted my last chiropractor or asked for my records. To me that tells me they dont care. EVERY CHIROPRACTOR I have ever been to asks for the former chiropractors records. This helps to understand previous care and review previous X-rays to see if there have been improvements. When I brought this up I was asked if I wanted the chiropractor to have my records. REALLY? The fact they didn't care to see my previous records had me stunned. How are you going to taylor my adjustment to MY needs without seeing my past records? It will take loads of adjustments for them to get to know where my issues lie, if they even care. They didn't even take or type notes in my 3 sessions for their records when I looked at the computer to see what was up there. Last, my daughter has been going here for about a year and she even stated they do the same adjustment on her the exact same way every time, unless she has a concern. BIG RED FLAGS PEOPLE. Are you getting the right care for your needs? The staff and doctors can be super nice and upbeat, but is that a mask for the factory they are? ??? How can you get people on a track to better health when each person is different and has different chiropractic needs and your giving the exact same adjustment??? How is doing the same adjustment on each patient unique??? In the chiropractic world thats called cookie cutter and its highly frowned upon.
