Grub is awesome!! Side street parking, order at the counter & seat yourself. Amazing menu and options. You cannot go wrong with ordering anything here!! Friendly staff.

So good! Such a cute atmosphere with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. A perfect place to meet a friend for some brunch! Great southern food, and I HAVE to go back to try out their lunch and/or dinner menu.

Stopped by this place on a Sunday morning for brunch around 11 AM. There were about five people ahead of us, but the line moved quickly. You place your order at the front counter and can choose to sit either inside or outside while waiting for your food. We started with a coffee and a smoothie--both were absolutely delicious! For breakfast, we had the breakfast platter, which came with perfectly cooked over-medium eggs, sweet maple bacon, and flavorful breakfast potatoes. The only downside was the bagel, which was a bit too hard--likely over-toasted. We also tried the breakfast sandwich on a biscuit, and it was amazing! Very generous in size and packed with flavor. Can't wait to come back!

We went here on a sunny Sunday morning and WHAT A TREAT! We waited in line for 10-15 minutes to order before we self-sat upstairs on the half covered/half open patio. It took a long while (20-30 minutes) to get our food out but the aesthetic and nice weather made it easy to kill time. The menu was a fun mix and match deal so things are affordable enough to get 2-3 on the menu. My breakfast was fresh and delicious. 10/10 on the biscuit! We will definitely return!

Scrumptious food! Trendy, cozy atmosphere! Wicked fast service! Reasonable prices! This place has it all!!! I ordered the biscuit and gravy. I love this dish and this is one of my favorite examples of all time! Perfect biscuit with crispy exterior, crumbly texture and buttery rich flavor. It is covered with rich, creamy, buttery, savory gravy. This is heaven on a plate! I am watching my carbs, but have no regrets for this deluctable off-diet brunch. Their coffee is from local roaster and is really good quality. No bitterness, just smooth dark chocolate coffee goodness. Note: it wasn't a flavored coffee, just referring to its character. They have indoor seating, outdoor covered seating and covered/uncovered roofdeck seating. It offers a cool vibe! I have been wanting to try grub on many past visits to Durham and gald I finally made it!!!

I've driven by here many times and always said I'll try it one day. Well this weekend we headed here and parking was crazy. It was packed but service was pretty decent. We decided to sit outside because the weather was perfect! They have a decent menu that's not overwhelming and you can order any menu item any time of the day! I like that....we had the smoked wings, a burger and sweet potato fries. Everything was cool but the price was soooo affordable!

Typical fun college town bar and grill ambiance...very fun! The food was excellent! I had the turkey sandwich with cranberry relish and my wife had the tremendous burger with bacon. Both of them were delicious and excellent! You order when you come in and then sit. They bring the food to you. The service was very nice but it's not a sit down service experience. Great place!

Went here for the first time on a Sunday morning. It was a great visit. Food was delicious and the rooftop was nice. The ambiance was nice! Not too loud pretty chill place even though they were busy. Overall would definitely come back for sure and would definitely recommend this place. Definitely a long line but worth the wait.

Very unique restaurant in the heart of Durham! Restaurant is order at the counter and an employee will bring you your food. I ordered the I've Been Chopped salad with honey balsamic vinaigrette dressing. The croutons were the best part because they're made from GRUB biscuits. Prices were very affordable too. The parking lot is SMALL so be prepared to possibly park on the street. The food was good, so I'd go again...but this place needs a good scrub because there were way too many flies inside.

This place is impressive as soon as you step in! The parking is a bit challenging but as you enter you're greeted by a friendly & exceptional manager who is very knowledgeable and willing to help out with your selection and seating. The food comes fast and is sooo savory! I had the breakfast 'Slammer' which consisted of turkey sausage, two eggs any style, ( I chose over easy) A buttermilk flapjack and a small bowl of cheese grits. The only thing I would change is that next time I'll add in cayenne pepper but other than that, this is a new go-to spot for me...! Oh, & did I mention the nostalgia music as you walk in? EXCEPTIONAL...!

Great place right by Duke gardens and the south-point mall. They have beautiful seating outside on the rooftop! The food was light and filling at the same time it all tasted fresh and not greasy. The service for our food was pretty quick felt like we barely waited. It was a but confusing for our first time bot knowing we had to order at the entrance before choosing our own seating. Overall pretty good place for brunch!

There is plenty of parking on the backside of the building, paid parking out front, and be careful not to park in the apartment spaces on the side...they sounded pretty serious about towing. I had made a reservation but it was probably unnecessary as it was pretty empty when we arrived (it was about 5pm on a Saturday.) The waitress brought a bottle of water to the table and took our drink order. And I know that this place is literally call it's a Southern thing but can I mention how much I dislike drinking out of mason jars? I ordered the chicken n biscuits, my husband got the country hamburger steak plate, my BiL got wings, and my SiL got the crabcakes. We also orders charred jalapeno & sweet corn hushpuppies and frickles as an appetizer. I was VERY excited about my food. Y'all...the only thing that impressed me were the Frickles. Everything else was distinctly underwhelming. I also ordered Blackberry Betta Have My Money which was not that great. My SiL ordered a espresso martini that they said didn't come from a mix but she said it tasted like it was. The bathrooms were very clean. The decor and the vibe were great. Cute even. I really enjoyed that part of it. After dropping off our food, we never saw our waitress again unless we flagged her down for drink refills. It was especially frustrating since there was automatic gratuity added. And since the place wasn't that busy, it felt like she didn't feel the need to earn her automatic tip. Overall I was disappointed in my birthday dinner. I won't be coming back here.

We made a reservation and were seated upon arrival. Our host was Anthony, I think his name was, with a keen interest for ginkgo trees. He was very attentive, friendly and extremely helpful. He took her order and had some good suggestions. I was craving shrimp and grits which was probably the most unique shrimp and grits. I've had ever. Very distinct flavor and still very rich and familiar. The shrimp were large and juicy as well as remained crunchy overall cooked very well. We also had the summer tomato and burata salad which was really refreshing and delicious. My friend ordered the mac and cheese which is a hefty serving size. Definitely a shareable side or a main for one person. Our host came to check on us frequently, our Waters never went empty. Other hosts were also helping check in on us which was nice. The restaurant itself is large. Booth tables available, which made for a cozy environment. We ended the night with some brownie a la mode, which was the perfect dessert to have on a hot summer day. This dish was my favorite of the night- small but shareable, entire dish was refreshing and all the flavors and textures went together so well. For dinner I ordered the roasted chicken and the baked mac and cheese with bacon. The roasted chicken was juicy and tasty, and a bit sweet with the bourbon ginger and plum reduction, but the mac and cheese seemed dry and overcooked. We also ordered the buttermilk cheddar biscuits- that taste slightly undercooked (in a good way), so the texture was soft and chewy (and amazing). The honey butter and large maldon salt granules made the biscuits perfect. They were so good we ordered a second order!! I would definitely return to Plum, for both the food and hospitality.
