Early morning arrival in port and looking for a good place for breakfast. Found this place and enjoyed a marvelous cup of coffee and some interesting French toast. Honestly the French toast was more gimmick than flavor but the coffee hit the spot.

À la cart eggs and potatoes with a side of rice and kimchi & omelette with a side of rice

I really enjoyed myself at this café. The staff is exceptionally nice and fast with the food. There's a cute arrangement of seatings and the food was very delicious. If you're in the area, you should check this stop out. This is a place that you order at the counter, then they bring your food to the table. They have water available next to the counter, also the coffee was super yummy!

Cereal killer French toast

I ordered to-go. The Cereal Killer French Toast was decent. I would not order again, it was not bad but would recommend to others. I give this dish a B. The Patatas Bravas was okay as well. The Kelp Chili Crisp ($16) that I purchased came in handy to add some oomph to the potatoes. I give this dish a B. The restaurant did not leave a strong impression on me, but I would suggest that others give it a try. The staff was friendly and informative.

Delicious eggs Benedict. Perfectly made. The pastry berries were lovely, and fresh flavor. Really enjoyed my breakfast. Great service and good ambience.

The dining room, adorned with local art!

Wow! Popped in for breakfast at an obvious local spot. Food, service, and ambiance all excellent! Reasonably priced as well, which is sometimes hard to find in Alaska! Absolutely reccomend

Salmon Benedict

Great breakfast spot in downtown Juneau. Good coffee with hearty breakfast options and pastries. I had the salmon benedict with a side of lox and it was delicious and very filling. The side of potatoes had a wonderfully flavored seasoning on them and they were crispy, just the way I like them. Friendly staff and the dining area was clean. I really appreciated the large communal table in the center that makes dining solo more enjoyable.

Eggs Benedict

I made sure to give this establishment multiple tries before writing a review. On the visit where I ordered the chicken... this took an hour to receive the food when I was the only customer. The eggs on all visits were second from being cooked. Unfortunately every time I had uncooked whites but not much. The chicken was overcooked and fried in burnt old oil. The only thing you could taste on the chicken was burnt skin and not a hint of seasoning. The ham was perfectly cooked one time and over the next. This is the run of the mill thin cut ham. There was no seasoning to anything and even my coffee had a bitter taste due to the grind. Normally I could see past this but the coffee was also watery in flavor. All of these issues added to eating in a poorly lit area just adds to the depression of this business. Do I recommend... only if you are starving. Your best shot is the pastries if you do go. The pastries are sub par and slightly overcooked on the bottom. Also, if you are taking food to go they provide forks but no knife for the ham.

Matcha Latte

Service is great! All the staff are friendly and have great recommendations. Good amount of seating and decorated with local art. Cozy vibe. Tater tots are out of this world and chicken breakfast sandwich was extra crispy. The matcha latte was the perfect temperature, I got it with the coconut syrup which they make in house and it was delicious!

First time in, as with most places in Juneau, few good reviews, few bad ones. They made it through…read morea whole year so figured it was time. -First thing I noticed was menu online was outdated. The new menu, same items but one year later, and now all items are $2 more. Not sure how that works since prices were already high, but it was just something I noticed. -Next while ordering my steak and cheese, everything is an add on, mushrooms, onion, peppers. My wife said she was gona order the Italian and I froze for a moment, were they gona charge me extra for lettuce, cheese, tomato,,,, luckily there was no add ons but that just makes it even more confusing as why veggie and add ons for steak and cheese?? -now the good parts, bread was fresh, soft, sandwiches were good. -house made chips were good, not oily, could use just a little more salt but was good. -$60 for 1 foot long and one 6 inch, bag of house chips and 2 cans of soda, even for Juneau is crazy. I did give 4 stars, food was good, but it's also a sandwich. Place was clean. Based upon their location, I'm sure tourist will pay the price, but personally probably won't be back.

Finally got a chance to try with my husband. I got the meatball and he got the chicken cheesesteak…read more Holy moly they were both delicious. I ordered the meatball which had a sauce that had a little kick which was delicious but it wasn't spicy. The chicken cheesesteak my husband ordered was delicious and I wish I didn't steal as much of his sandwich as I did. The house made chips are definitely worth it. In the future I will put some in my sandwiching or use them to treat the cheesesteak filling like a chip dip. The guy attending the counter was nice to work with and the music and atmosphere were chill but sure it gets busy sometimes. It was an all around great experience and I look forward to doing it again.
