Do not walk. RUN AWAY. I bought a new, custom home from these swindlers when I was young and trusting in 2017, and now I'm stuck in the Bluthe model home from Arrested Development. If your idea of a good investment is a home built of materials from Temu, then by all means, come lose your faith in humanity by working with these Gs. I've had nothing but issues since marching my family into this home, and there is no one to get ahold of, barely a warranty to speak of, and plenty of holes in my wallet (and walls). Touching the walls chips the paint off. There was ZERO insulation in the attic. There was no caulking around the tub so it leaked into my kitchen. They didn't connect the stovetop correctly so there was a gas leak to welcome me when I moved in. It looks pretty at first, and the staff is friendly while you're about to give them cash, but even the contractors I've hired to help are appalled at how poorly this place was built. There's not enough holy water or sage in the world to cleanse this mess. Thanks, Grupe, for the stress, shame, and debt. May your business fall apart as swiftly as this house you threw together. read more

I saw a house in Oakland that was for sale, and after looking at it with my realtor, we decided to put a bid on the house. We were preapproved, put in a deposit and had everything ready. The real estate listing showed a previous buyer had backed out, when further probed, they stated that the buyer was wishy-washy. When my realtor asked if any inspections were done on the house, Christine Luevano, the person representing the sellers, stated that there weren't any inspections done and no reports available. Immediately, this seemed like a red flag, as its fairly typical to have that paperwork ready. After receiving our bid, they didn't like the fact that our loan required a termite clearance because they didn't want to pay for that. Once an offer is submitted, the seller has 72 hours to respond. On the 3rd day, I noticed the MLS listing had increased the price of the house by $20k. They didn't ever respond to our bid, nor did they inform our realtor of anything that was going on. When asked, Christine Luevano replied that someone had just submitted another offer just that morning-except that MLS listing wasn't updated that morning. Lies. In short, these folks are pretty sleazy-Christine Luevano-you in particular. I wouldn't trust buying anything from them, they were less than forthcoming about the problems with the house, and I did feel discriminated against because we had a VA loan. Don't do business with them, they were less than professional on the whole matter. read more

This review is regarding the professionalism and demeanor of Mazhar Khan, and does not reflect my opinions toward or the actions, demeanors and professionalism of Grupe. Recently I was a visitor at a friends house who was in the process of selling. At the time of this visit, the home was already listed on the MLS and they had already had some open home sessions. While I was visiting, I was helping my friend clean and do some yard work when my friend heard a knock at the door. They were not expecting anyone to visit that day so they were a bit unsure of who could be disrupting their day off while they were taking care of some business. They opened the door to find Mr. Khan standing there with some prospective buyers and he stated he needed to show the property for a quick moment. He pretty much just helped himself in with complete disregard for the sellers privacy or the fact that they had company (me). Let me tell you the anger I saw in my fiends' eyes. They were so mad! He walked in the living room and said hi to me as his clients began touring the house. He shook my hand and sat down on their couch and immediately asked me if I was interested in listing property. I kindly said no and shut the convo down. He then went upstairs to join his clients and while I was down stairs, I could hear him sound off kind of abrupt with a rude tone in responses to my friends answers to the clients questions. I was so shocked by his demeanor and inability to let my friends speak for themselves. After the clients left, they had just pretty much dirtied what we had just cleaned. At another time, I was at my friends house waiting for him to get home from work so we can leave for a quick trip to a family members house. When my friend came home, he was so upset and said that the realtor, Mr. Khan was outside and here to show the house. We hurried to open the home to get some fresh air in (I was a hot day so everything was closed) and just kind of run through to ensure it was in viewing condition. The realtor came in and showed the property. My friend began to tell him that this unscheduled and last minute showings need to stop. He began to tell him that it is very inconvenient and stressful for him to just show up unannounced. Mr. Khan kept interrupting and telling my friend that he needs to trust him and that he knows what he is doing and that he will have several offers soon. While telling my friend this, he had his hand on the wall, leaning into it. This is a big no no in this house, let me tell you. So disrespectful. Needless to say, as an innocent visitor and witness to some of this guys actions, i must say that he is very pushy, rude, disrespectful, unorganized and condescending. I met Bianka at an open house, she told me she was a new realtor, I told her I had been talking with someone else, she gave me her card and said if it fell through call her. I found several houses, but my realtor was out of country. Must have been Gods way of telling me to work with her. I have bought and sold 7 houses in my lifetime, in that time nobody has made me feel as important as Bianka. Neither of us new how Cal Vet loans worked, but between the training staff at Grupe and Brad Pedersen at Cal Vet it was extremely simple. Bianka opened the house multiple times for me so that contractors could give me bids. Showed me how to sign on line, so I wasn't running around. Knowing I have disabilities she ask me questions about the houses we went to see, example the doorway into bathroom was small would I be able to get in ok. I had expressed to her I might need wheel chair in the future, she had remembered this and worked to find what would work. Don't let that sweet easy personality fool you, she kept on the sellers to pay for everything she could. She works hard for her customers and I only see success in her future. OMG!! i never experienced such an unprofessional and an irresponsible real estate agent. I think the word for it is TACKY!! So here is my story.... My parents house was for sale and mind you, both of my parents are no longer with us. My mom passed back in 2013 and my dad just passed away back in June of this year(2016). We had an offer so before the house closed, the buyer wanted to see the house one more time. So my agent came to me to get the house key to give to the buyers agent and i was waiting to get it back. My mom handed me that key and i was going to keep that because i felt that it was a connection to me from the house i was raised in since i was born and im 48 years old and especially a connection to my mom. Well the buyers agent lost the key and it was on a shiny silver key chain. The agent's name is Cathy Jackson. I highly suggest that you do not use her as a real estate agent. She will lose your keys. I cant tell you enough how irresponsible and unprofessional she is. read more
