I visited G's Ageless Skin Center for a 3-pack microdermabrasion + oxygen facial. Background: I am a GROUPON customer. Last Saturday, I showed up for what I thought was my appointment. I was so embarrassed when I looked down at my phone and realized I showed up on the wrong day! I had the right date in my phone, but the wrong date in my head:) Still, G was so kind to go above and beyond to manually schedule me for another appointment that would work best for my schedule going forward. At no point did she make me feel uncomfortable to speak to me in a demeaning tone. Instead, she laughed it off and said, "no problem! Let's see when I get you in!" Here is the real humbling part.... G scheduled me for a 8 am appointment on Saturday because that is what worked best for ME. This is OUTSIDE of regular business hours. Who does that?! A true professional, one who is passionate about her business and client's needs. I even received a courtesy reminder the day before. Feedback specific to G, the owner: G is a thorough professional with a passion for skin care. She is kind, honest, and laid back. She took the time to understand my skin and explain what she was doing. Additionally, she is a great conversationalist, one who goes above and beyond to make sure her client (GROUPON CLIENT) is comfortable. Feedback on skin/service: My skin feels amazing and I can already see the difference. It feels smoother and softer to the touch. It is important to point out that I actually purchased my groupon because of my friend's glowing face. More specifically, I noticed that my friend's skin was brighter, more youthful, and literally glowing... She referred me to G's skincare center and assured me that I would not be dissapointed. I decided to go the Groupon route since I wanted to "try it out" before really becoming a vested client. After just this one visit, I have no doubt that I will be returning for monthly visits. I purchased a groupon for a chemical peel and mini-facial, which I recently redeemed at G's Ageless Skin Center. The skin center is located in an office building and because her space can only accommodate one patron at a time, I had to wait in the main lobby until the previous patron had finished. Although I've had my fair share of facials in the past, this was my first chemical peel experience. G was very friendly and personable and I appreciated that she didn't try and sell me on her products (pet peeve of mine). She gave me instructions on what to do after the chemical peel and when I could expect my skin to begin peeling. This lady is unfriendly and super rude. I bought 2 Groupon for chemical peel and facial, during the past 6 months, I made 3 appointments, the first 2 times she asked me to go home (I drove 20 mins one way on Saturday to get there) because I had ONE acne (I had done facial in many places and nobody turned me down because of acne), the 3rd time she texted me that she is not feeling well and wants to cancel it, I was already on my way to the appointment so I got there anyways, only to find out she is chatting with someone, and again she asked me to go home because i had acne, and she will fit me in whenever my face is clear, and when I text her saying my face is clear she never has time. Note now is November, and i bought Groupon in March, that means i was not able to get any service in 8 months! Today is my 4th attempt to use the Groupon for chemical peel and mini facial. I have some personally issues and I can't have the chemical peel anymore, I asked if I can just have a regular facial, she said no and it's not her problem that I can't do chemical peel. Given the history I described above (and she actually claimed one of my Groupons without providing the service) I was very pissed, and she called police to take me out!! It's my first time to experience this kind of drama! We ( me and my boyfriend) got a 2 appointments back to back last week, then we show up exactly the right time with a right day and she told us that we didn't have appointment and pick up some random one already without even asking for the right name or not, until we proved that we r the one who made those appointments then all she can say was call the "Groupon" to make a refund or make another appointment :(( she didn't even feel bad or sincerely sorry about the messed up...!! I've been going to G's for several months now and she's the BEST! Super kind and she really wants you to be satisfied and happy with her services. I always get microdermabrasion done and my face feels better after each time. My pores went from being super large to almost invisible! Plus you just feel like you have your skin in the best way possible afterwards. I currently work at a Spa but still schedule my appointments with her just because of that unique experience. I went here with my sister for a girls date and to get a glowing look before the holidays. G is a Angel! She is professional, big hearted and lovely. She explained what the different treatments are and what would be best for our skin type( and age). My sister had the peeling with microdermabrasion and I tried the microdermabrasion with the oxygen mask. My sisters skin turned out glowing and plumper, a little pink but that is usual. I met G in early 2018 through a Groupon purchase as a way to shop for the right skincare specialist. I bought a microdermabrasion package and liked the results and experience that I subsequently purchased a microneedling package. Because I've had scarring from teenage acne and pimples, I knew that it would be a stretch to reverse the overall appearance of my skin especially at my advanced age. Let's just say I'm a senior citizen. The scars are now now barely noticeable. My laugh lines are now minimal. I am beyond pleased with the results, but more so when I received compliments from my friends and colleagues. One actually stopped in mid-sentence during a meeting and told me how great my skin looks. G is a true professional and cares about what she does. There were services I wanted to get done, but she gave me tips on where I could benefit most given my age and skin condition. I did my research, and she was right. My husband is VERY selective with someone touching his face. I've dragged him to the ones I've been to and he didn't like them. A month ago, I convinced him to try microdermabrasion and he loved it. He was so relaxed that I heard him snoring away happily when G came out of the room. So with his consent, I just bought him a microneedling package. I've seen her calendar and she is booked to the gills, but she worked with him. She even squeezed him in at 8 AM on a Sunday because of his schedule constraints and upcoming travel. I felt compelled to write this review especially because of that one negative feedback. G provides terrific service and to malign her because of a scheduling mix-up is grossly unfair and actually malicious. Now if you throw a fit and are disrespectful expect to be put in your place. G is no shrinking violet. She speaks with a Brooklyn accent, which connotes a certain kind of toughness, but to me I found hysterical. Judging her not by the service she provides is absolutely absurd. When you get to know her, you will discover that she is very good at what she does, and is quite sweet and funny! Worst experience! Went for the mini peel offered via groupon, I came out with two visible red marks on my face - either sides on the cheek.
