Off some busy streets but the building centers are more remotely quiet. Plenty of parking, this humble institute is located up in a center of buildings. Not a luxurious beauty salon but it definitely has such great perks! Juli and Maya has taken care of me for YEARS - and am a consistent customer! Love their service - extremely quick and they cater what you need! Although waxing is always painful for me personally - they assure the process to be as fast and painless as possible. Pricing seems fair and a better deal is given with cash! Their scheduling is also extremely easy and they are very flexible! They really try to work around your schedule and to fit your timely needs. I've been a customer for about 4 years now mainly for eyebrow threading. Scheduling is always easy and times are usually available. This has been my go-to place as I'm wary of trying new places, but I might try other spots to compare. There are a couple of reasons I've lowered my rating: 1. Eyebrow threading is inconsistent. Some days it's great and others days it's lopsided or a different shape. I remember once I mentioned I was having a special event and my eyebrows were made very thin. Sometimes the threading is rushed or done roughly in one spot causing irritation. I find more times than I prefer, I end up fixing the shape at home even after trying to have it corrected at the salon. 2. Pricing increases. As a regular, I don't look at the website often as I know the service I'll be scheduling. When I first started coming, the price was $8 with an incentive of free threading every 7th visit. The incentive disappeared after a few months (I always leave a tip, but maybe other clients didn't). Then on one visit, the price was $10; this was fine as it's pretty average with nearby businesses. This year, it's increased from $10 to $12 to $13 to $15 now. I never made a fuss, but I started feeling the price kept increasing every time I came. I initially thought I was just being upcharged. $15+tip for a less than 5 minute service is above average now. I wish I would have been notified when scheduling my next appointment of the price increase or during a previous visit. It would be great if prices were clear and posted somewhere in the business or on the door. For now, I will compare other nearby businesses on their service and consistency. If I don't find better service, I may return, but I don't feel that I can tip on every visit when I come so often. read more

Saw excellent reviews on yelp and booked online (very easy process). This placed lived up to good reviews. Place is upstairs in business park building (in case you are worried about stairs). Everyone who I have interacted with these is extremely kind, and the business is very efficient which is nice during a work day. I'm 9 months pregnant and was desperate for a Brazilian wax before the baby comes. Juli was incredibly professional, thorough, and pleasant. She used hard wax and did not have to go over the waxing parts over and over: she got it on the first go, reducing time and pain. She worked with me through the waxing experience. I was embarrassed about my hair and other things due to pregnancy but she was incredibly kind and easy to work with. The place is not crowded and she took careful precautions for COVID-19. My underarm wax was wonderful and quick! The highlight other than the Brazilian was the eyebrow threading: she is so fast AND my eyebrows look amazing. Worst experience as i was denied service for being couple of minutes late even after booking appointment. The lady waited for me to come to parlor to deny services. If timing was an issue than you should have call and cancelled and not wait for me to be there. They don't respond much if you call. You always have to text on the number to get the response. Even earlier couple of times if I'm late for even 5 minutes, the lady keep complaining about being very late. I have never seen any services doing this. I always have been giving heads up if i had to cancel. And all you had to do was call and cancel the appointment if timing was an issue. But the lady waited for me to be at the parlor and denied service. I found it quite unacceptable. There's only one lady giving all the services. You should give proper buffer time between your appointments as this is sometimes expected. Noone can always be 100% on time all the time. I won't be coming at this place because of your continuous rude behaviors towards always complaining about time. read more

Moved new to the area and have been looking for a new place. There was a new lady working this day and she began to thread my brows When I looked in the mirror a chunk of my brow was wiped from the bottom and the brows altogether were a mess! She didn't apologize although she knew she messed up and brought in someone else to fix. The woman that fixed my brows was more knowing and experienced. Although that chunk was still missing, she was gracious and didn't make me pay.. Looking for a new threading spot and came here to get my eyebrows done. Based on the reviews I called ahead and asked for Juli and made an appointment. I've never been here before so obviously I didn't know who Juli was. I told her I had just called and had a 12:30 appointment the lady at the desk told me to sit down. I've been growing out my eyebrows for the last year wanting them to be more full. Everyone knows what a task this is and how difficult it was. This woman did not listen to what i wanted. For years & years I was not able to get my eyebrows threaded because my skin was too sensitive for the technique used by other threaders. Juli is not only thorough, but her technique does not cause as much of the skin irritation that I have experienced in the past. Besides my eyebrows, my favorite service with her is underarm waxing. She was friendly but this was one of the most painful waxes I've had. When I woke up this morning I realized that I still had some hair in the bikini line area and underarms causing me to still use a razor which is pretty disappointing. When I called to set up an appt she asked that I didn't pay for the service via Groupon as I had planned which was pretty weird. I go to Juli for the 2 most important things: eyebrows and brazilian, Juli does not disappoint! She is sooo amazing! I messaged Juli the other day on yelp because my eyebrows were getting out of control and my wedding is coming up in a week or so. Juli is so sweet and accommodating and got me in to see her that very same day. She did an amazing job of cleaning up my eyebrows and even gave me a little head/ eye massage at the end.
