When I walked in , I asked a man at the front desk how much a blow dry was for my hair to be styled similar to what I had. I have collar bone length hair. He said about $50. I had a wash & blow dry with twisting of brushes, no curling iron. Can't believe he charged me $75! He didn't even talk to the stylist, nor did she tell me that what she was doing would be more expensive. I told him what about the $50, and he ridiculously said it was more complex. Typical bait and switch . Too bad the stylist probably wont get paid more. I still gave the a 20% tip but I felt very taken advantage of at this shabby looking salon. Over $90 for blow dry at this place was a rip off. read more

Easy to book and very friendly staff. I came in for a blowout with a curl style. Unfortunately as soon as I stepped out of the salon and walked down the street, my curls all came out and I had perfectly straight hair. With the price of the blowout and tip it was over 90 dollars. Again, staff nice, my stylist took her time with me but the curls came right out, so wasn't worth it at the end of the day. read more

I contacted this location for a blowout on 9/13/25 and was offered a blowout at 4:00 pm, starting at $50.00. My hair length is 1-2" below the shoulder. The gentleman who greeted me was polite. The stylist, Muriel, on the other hand, was quite the opposite. She acted annoyed that she had to stop looking at her phone and get out of her chair. I told her I wanted a blowout with the side pieces clipped up out of my eyes. She was very rough with the shampoo and blow dry. She tore through my hair with the round brush. We barely spoke. Near the end of the appointment, she asked why I was visiting the city, probably due to the awkward silence. My hair looked like it was done by an amateur. I had to ask her to spray down and clip the side piece that I talked to her about at the beginning of the encounter. When I went to pay the bill, I was charged $165 for an updo. Say what?! I asked the man if he considered what he saw an updo. His response, "Well you can go back, and she can do more." No, thank you. My hair looked tight and curly, not loose and wavy as we discussed. It was frizzy. The gentleman refused to change the amount, though he did change the tip from 20% to 15% when explaining the charges. I called my friend, a local who works for the justice system, when I left the "salon." She told me most of the blowout bars, with the exception of Drybar, are fronts for money laundering schemes. I'll be exploring what authorities I should contact to report this incident. I didn't see any licenses displayed. The salon was extremely responsive when I requested a same day appointment but was silent when I complained about the experience and charges. read more

I got hair a makeup done for an event. The place was packed. My appointment was at 3 and in order to make it to my event I needed to be out by 5 which the man at the front desk verified they would get us out by 5. The make brushes looked like they had been used for years. I told the make up/hair stylist that I DIDNT want a Smokey eye or anything dark. I also said I wanted gold eyeshadow. Which I didn't get, he did a Smokey eye and didn't use a speck of gold. They didn't use any disposable applicators even though they had them. He just went straight in with the mascara brush straight from the tube. The makeup looked so old and looked like they were in the same condition as the makeup brushes. Used a million times and for years. By the time my make up was done, starting over was not an option. I knew it would be a mad dash to do my hair. I watch the stylist use the same brush on 3 people including me. I saw no sanitizing Stations anywhere. The stylist next to me was no different. My hair was a mess. I was poked numerous times with the Bobby pins. I had to go back to my hotel and try to fix my hair because it was a mess. And I still had a pin pushing against my scalp. On top of that the price they quote you over the phone is more than double when it's time to pay. Crappy way to do business. I wish I could give zero stars. read more

Prices need to be given up front. The prices given over the phone were not was what charged. The hair blowout was OK. I specifically asked for volume many times, and she blow dried my hair pin strait then used curling iron. She didn't use the correct technique of using the roller brush to create volume. The make up application was OK. It would have been nice to see the work as it was being done not just at the end. She didn't ask if I wanted white eye liner in my water line, and I had to apply my own black. Also she didn't use liquid foundation, it was a powder with not enough coverage and during my event the make up started clumping (which I didn't realize until I went to the bathroom). I've never had make up do that before. For $400 (hair, make up, nail touch up and tip) I should have left feeling good. Other than that the place was clean and staff friendly. I'd go back but just not with the person who saw me. read more

The man running this place jams people in there when there aren't enough staff to serve them in a timely way. There were parts of my 2.5 hours there when there was no place to sit or to place my coat and purse. The music was absolutely abysmal--terrible covers of already hideous Christmas pop songs played loud, and on a short loop (I heard one of the worst tracks 3 times). Observing many of the stylists, I could see that tools used were not sanitized between clients--neither for makeup or for hair. The prices were ridiculously high. And, maybe worst of all, the owner/manager makes customers fill out a yelp review right in front of him in order to receive a discount, which explains the positive reviews. It's very scammy. I would give the place 0 stars if I could. :( read more

The Kerstase shampoos and conditioners brought back such nice and happy memories ... The prices range from USD 165-200 dollars for a single process. About USD 155- 258 dollars for a cut and USD 67-150 dollars for a blow dry. The only thing I would change or ask more of at this salon would be music, music, MUSIC!
