Making the appointment online was really confusing -they give you 30 minutes to fill out info and confirm a time and honestly you'll need at least 10 of it. I will update this once I get my results back and see how they handle things on the back end, but as of right now I've been waiting in my car for over an hour and have about 30 people in front of me, so assume I will have to wait at least another 45 minutes. Unless you have a good audiobook, sit this one out. In my hour in the car I haven't gotten any communication from staff other than being pointed which lane to go into. GS Labs just sent another bill 1210/22 for Covid test 12/3/21. I contacted them 6 months ago and had my insurance company contact them. GS Labs filled out the insurance paperwork incorrectly so the claim was not paid. Their billing is incompetent!!! Their testing was also incompetent! It took 2 weeks to get the results. Also the second test that was taken ( 95% ) result instead of 85% was suppose to be back 1-3 days and it took a week... Arrived at my scheduled appointment time. Waited 45 minutes for my COVID test. I waited in my car for 15 minutes until a staff member came over and checked me in. Then waited another 30 minutes until someone came and did the COVID tests. Was not given options for different test types. Two nasal swabs were administered - a rapid antigen test and a PCR test. Was quoted up to 4-5 days for the PCR test results. Update: Rapid test results were sent within 30 min of the appointment. PCR result were sent 6 business days after the appointment (test done on a Thurs, results received the next week on Fri) read more

TL;DR: we got a false positive on rapid test and they took 4 days to get back PCR results, so we had to isolate for no reason. Go to UW instead. My family and I went here because it was very quick to get an appointment. There was no line and they got to us quickly. The people taking our samples were very nice. That was the end of our good experience with this lab. Shortly after taking the rapid antigen tests and PCR tests, we all received our rapid results. Mine was positive for COVID, and my family's was negative. I immediately had to isolate from them. After investigating a little bit into GS Labs' practices, they generally take two swabs- one for a rapid test and one for PCR. If the rapid test is positive, they don't bother testing the PCR swab to confirm, which is, in my opinion, incredibly irresponsible. We talked with our son's pediatrician and our own physician, who both said they personally had negative experiences with GS Labs and that they had a high rate of false-positives. So, we got a second opinion. We all got another PCR test done with UW, which came back negative within 24 hours. My husband and son received their PCR results from GS labs 4 days after testing, which is also a terrible turnaround time and past their "1-3 business day" guarantee. They didn't even test my PCR test, so unless I had gotten a second opinion I would have continued to isolate from my family and assume I had COVID. I wish we had gone to UW in the first place instead of going through the emotional turmoil of isolating from my 1 year old son and telling everyone we had been in contact with that I had COVID until we could get results back from a reputable lab. read more

A friend recommended it, but I really regret going. With appointments, every one around me waited 1 hour. Somehow they lost our slip and had me and my 3-year-old waiting 1.5 hours in the car. They did three tests. I'm still waiting for the PCR results a week later. read more

TL;DR - Chaotic and disorganized, despite charging 350$ plus for rapid antigen tests that cost $25 over the counter. Sometimes, you might have to wait at least 1 hour even if you arrive on time. The paid appointments are currently impossible to get due to a session bug in their crappy website. As another yelper mentioned, this place is disorganized and there is no system when they are backlogged. There are dudes with papers checking in people at random. Sometimes, they might ask you to wait at the back where its easy to be forgotten. No one gives you a number tag or such to keep your spot. The wait time is unpredictable. So come here 30-60 mins before your appointment. Unfortunately, you pay more cash for worse service which is common in American healthcare. In contrast, UW centers are far better, but they close in snowy weather and you only get today and tomorrow appointments. They are free, but well organized, fast and convenient. read more

Whoever operates this location is utterly failing at life! We made an appointment and literally waited an hour in our car following the signs and rules on the appointment directions; to no avail. Nearly a dozen staff coming and going, following no process, indiscriminately approaching vehicles in the parking lot to see if they had been helped. We gave up after an hour and went to Chickfila, where we ordered and received our food in less than 10 minutes. Come now, be an adult and determine a process. Get a system, form a line, take a tag, Cheese and Rice, any systematic process would be better than what you're currently doing!!! Don't waste your life with these clowns! read more

My son came down with symptoms over the weekend and I needed a rapid covid test completed on a Sunday. This was one of the few places available. I was online booking at 10:30am, at the appointment just before 1pm, and we were done with his test and on our way within 20 minutes. Then we received the Negative test results within 40 minutes after leaving. During the time we were there, I honestly thought that GS Labs was running quite smoothly. There was a guy checking in the cars, another checking in once you parked, then another moving you to the testing parking spaces. Then yet another employee to make sure our questions were answered and then another to do the actual test. Honestly, it was smooth and quick. I am surprised by the negative reviews. PS They were only doing Rapid tests when we visited. Their lab is too backed up for the other type of tests. read more

I took a family member to GS Labs in Bellevue for a rapid COVID test. You follow a lot of signs directing you into the appropriate parking lot. Easy to locate with all the signs. Without signs, pretty sure I would have pulled into the wrong lot. Once you arrive you pull into a parking spot, are checked in, insurance and appt time is verified. We were early so we had to wait a few minutes. We were there with arriving early, check in and test a total of 15 minutes. Appointment was made about 30 minutes before test. Easy process, they took his insurance and you stayed in your car. Good system. read more

I haven't gotten two bills from them this year when I haven't even been there. Had to call my insurance company to cancel last time and will have to do the same again. I wasn't even in the country when supposedly this charge is from. Then I looked up GS labs to find that my insurance company, premera is now sueing them for fraud. read more

We have been here 3 times and every single time we have had a great experience. I brought my son in on Saturday because he was showing symptoms. They were pretty busy but everyone was very kind and our nurse walked my son through the test. We did the rapid PCR and got his results back in about 35 minutes. I will definitely continue to come to this location. read more

Do not use this lab. Got a PCR test for my 8 year old son on 09/21/2021. He missed a week of school waiting for results. After a week with no results and no ETA I went to a different testing site and got results in 24 hours. I had no idea a lab could be this bad. Live and learn. Finally got a response from them on 10/04/21 saying his test was rejected because they contaminated the sample. Unbelievable. read more

Took our whole family to GS Labs last Thursday - all 10 of us after we were exposed by a school aged child who was positive. We got the rapid test and the PCR tests. We were told PCR results would come in 1-3 days. We got back 10 negative rapid COVID tests. Great - we are vaccinated with a negative test - we can go on with life. A week later there is NO sign of 9 of our PCR tests - but 4 us clearly have COVID. So the rapid tests were absolutely worthless. One of us even had symptoms when he took the rapid - and his was negative. We got back 1 positive PCR yesterday. This is the worst! Timely and accurate testing is what will keep people well. Needed to get a COVID test for my 5 year old kindergarten student, so that she could resume school after coming down with runny nose. GS Labs was one of the places recommended by the school to get tested. From the description of the test I signed up for on the web site: "... Our staff will collect a nasal swab or finger prick (depending on the test method - subject to customer preference and GS Labs supplies) ..." For some reason I still don't understand they insisted on doing two nasal swabs AND finger prick. The child was in tears for the next 45 minutes. I suspect that they did multiple tests instead of just one so that they can get more money from insurance. Had I known that blood was going to be involved, I would not have taken my kid there. They obviously had supplies for the nasal sway, as they did two of those as well. On the bright side test results arrived super quick (under 30 minutes) and as expected no COVID was detected, but now days need to get tested every time you sneeze just to be sure. read more

Only positive of this testing site is that you get both a rapid test and PCR. The rapid antigen test results came back same day, but I am still waiting for my PCR results 5 days later! My friend and I were tested on Tuesday, January 4th and it is now Sunday, January 9th and no PCR results yet. It's ridiculous and slower than anywhere I've seen throughout the pandemic. Don't waste your time and insurance money. Will not be back. Update: it has now been 8 days and no test results. When I arrived for my scheduled covid test there was no-one in parking lot directing cars- no-one telling people where to park or what to do. I saw 4 cars pull in random spots way after me and get helped....I had to get out and go tell someone I was there. It's been 8 days and still no results (they said 2-3 days) this testing spot is a waste of money and pointless - don't go there. read more

I have had to go for testing over a dozen times and I have used this location every single time. Except for 2 instances where we had to wait (about 30 minutes or so), they have been extremely quick. Staff was usually very nice, they got us swabbed quickly, was always given a PCR and rapid test, and only once was it very uncomfortable. I had one clerical error that negated my PCR test (wrong info entered) but other than that, no issues with tests. Typically got our test results back within an hour and PCR usually within a day or two. Aside from the 2 times when we had to wait because the line was out to the street (right after holiday travel so everywhere was awful for testing), and the other minor issues, this place has been great. GS Labs will continue to be my testing place of choice. read more

The people that work hear should be ashamed at themselves! I don't know how they can look at themselves in the mirror. My mom started having covid symptoms last Wednesday, and her doctor recommended she go to gs lab. She booked it for Saturday. She has Medicare due to being over 65 and regents insurances combined. Gs apparently does not take Medicare, so she put her regents insurance info down to sign up for appointment. When she got there, they said they could not give her a test as she does not qualify since she has Medicare that apparently billing would go through Medicare before her second insurance of regents. I think in general the "no Medicare" policy is disgusting, but if so, then you should make it very clear to people signing up that don't qualify even if have another insurance, and I am surprised they did not even offer for her to pay out of pocket. Thankfully, her symptoms have not become severe, but due to this mess up, she still has not been able to get a test due to everywhere else being booked. If she would have been clearly denied last Wednesday when booked it, then she could have booked somewhere else. This kind of behavior is very irresponsible as delaying someone's test delays potential treatment to prevent potential worsening and death. I don't like writing bad reviews, but I feel like people need to know about GS lab before booking with them. I have had great experiences with UW testing sites, and I have heard that some pharmacies like walgreens have good testing sites. I know someone who had good experience with curative last week, and they have more spots than the others right now. Deceptive liars. This lab told me insurance covers Covid testing and that I don't need to worry about cost because they will bill insurance and then I got a bill for $800. I had an appointment at 10:30 am got there 10 minutes earlier. The instruction I received at the entrance was unclear; the person wrote my appointment time on a piece of paper and told me to drive on. Several cars were parked in the back of the building, some with the papers on the windshield, some without. I parked and waited. They don't seem to have any system or organization. I stopped a person running around with a clipboard and asked but didn't receive any clear answer. Another person told me they were just behind. After seeing several cars arrived after me went get tested I stopped another person and told her I was waiting for an hour and a half. She told me to move my car next to the building where they are conducting a test. Another 15 to 20 minutes later, they finally tested me. You do get a result in 30 minutes or so. I would not recommend this place. Go to Bellevue College's free testing site. They are running well, and you will get PCR results within 24 hours. No stress, no wait. read more

PCR test took too long. I has been 5 days and I still haven't received the result which leads to my kid not able to resume pre-school. Just do not go here. Horribly slow. If you cannot do your promised 1-3 days result, then don't promise it. I called and was told there was a huge back-up. Then don't tell people to come at all. read more

The information on the website is very misleading. I won't choose this testing site again. The staff were friendly. The testing process went as expected, the results and wait were a different story. The 3 min test, no wait is inaccurate. With our appointment we waited about 30 minutes. The rapid test was resulted in the time frame as promised. The PCR test, which was reported at our appointment and on the website to have a turn around time of 1-3 days, apparently actually means business days, and after two phone calls to check and after 7 business days has yet to result. Each time I called I was told to expect results the next day. Again, feel like that so just something they are told to say and not based on reality. I thought this lab would be faster than the free King County drive they sites but not the case. I went to a drive the site the day after this appointment and received my results the next day. read more

Our neighbor recommended GS Labs since it is close by. I got on the website to schedule an appointment - which I did. After spending time answering questions - contact info, symptoms I was having, etc. the insurance questions showed up. They don't take several insurance companies including Medicare. It would have been good to know at the start before booking the appointment and spending time filling out all that information. I assume they don't take Medicare because it probably takes longer for them to get paid. I was assured from government sources that Medicare pays for the covid test. I am disappointed that though they would get paid, it is not fast enough for GS Labs. I probably spent more than 30 minutes on this process and then had to find another appointment. My PCR test was completed on 04Jan2022, as of today, almost 13 days later I never even got my registration email for my PCR results. I have tried calling them and after being 40 minutes on hold without reaching anyone I hung up. I would not recommend this location to anyone who needs quick PCR results. read more

This testing sight is horrible, signs are not clear on where to go and the staff just expect you to know when they change their directions. I waited over 50 minutes in my car just to check in. As well as arriving the staff are not very nice and treat you like crap just because they are busy. If they are to busy for as many appointments as they have, then cut down the appointment availability and don't treat your costumers like crap and be able to tell them directions. Over all this place is terrible, the times and staff are not helpful and you just get pointed in a direction every 20 minutes with no communication. read more
