Went there for a waxing and was totally unhappy. First I booked the appointment online and when I…read morewalked in I told them I was there for my appointment for a full leg and bikini and they ask Face? No full leg and bikini. OK Get in the room and the tech does my bikini first, then says OK. I said, I am also here for a full leg. So she proceeds to do the legs. I felt that the she didn't leave the wax on long enough and there were times I felt like my skin was being scrapped with the stick as the wax was dried on it. I get home and wait for the redness to go away and then I saw that a whole line up my thigh was NOT done...from knee to hip. The next day (today) I see that there are more lines/patches that still have hair, so now I need to Nair what was missed. The whole purpose of getting waxed was so I didn't have to worry about my legs for my cruise this week. They may be excellent with nails, I will give them a shot at my pedicure tomorrow, but they need to improve their waxing skills before I go back for that service. ADDITIONAL REVIEW: I was contacted by the salon after posting the original review and they did the right thing! They offered to redo my waxing as the original technician was on a trial basis, she was not hired. They also gave me a discount on my pedi, which came out awesome. I will definitely go back for both services! Thanks Ladies

The instruments used would just lightly sprayed with alcohol. Nothing was sealed very dirty. I will never go back there. Your answer to my review does not make sense. Why would i have to specify to do my rough heels. That comes with ANY pedicure. A pedicure is not just massaging legs and painting toenails. It should not be extra any other place does heels even with regular pedicure

The place is aesthetically pretty, staff are wonderful. The nail techs are great. The one I had, I…read moredont know her name unfortunately and only been to her a few times but she did amazing work. I only get gel manicures. My issue is, they charge $23 extra for chrome. I have never heard of this, not even anywhere else on the island and chrome isnt even that expensive to purchase. So honestly, that is why I stopped going, I like getting chrome often and to charge additional $23 is absolute robbery in my opinion. I decided to try a pedicure, which I was hesitant about. The chairs seem so unsanitary as they are cloth, and also stained. Basically, when it comes to sanitation idk how thats even allowed. they do not recline so it's not comfortable sitting there and the bowl your feet go into is small and your feet are not submerged or sitting in water like most nail salons. The girl I had did my pedicure completely backwards. She did my nails first with dry feet once she finished painting them (gel pedicure) then put them in the water and massaged and then I left. It was such an odd experience. Although she did a nice job. But maybe thats her style and im just used to the original way that every single nail solan does. She also had to push up my chair herself just to make it easier for her to reach me. That doesnt seem fair to her-- reclining chairs have modes to make the chair closer to the tech. Like its so strange that they dont have this.... I feel like they prioritized the aesthetic over practicality. With all the sweat, friction, and skin contact in that area, the fabric is bound to harbor bacteria. I honestly don't see how it can be properly cleaned and sanitized after every use.

When I told her it hurt she said after she started cutting that I had ingrown big toenails and she needed to do that. I wish she mentioned this before the service as I would have just cancelled and went to a podiatrist. I was already in the chair and felt embarrassed so I let her finish the pedi. Another nail tech chimed in and blamed me and said I should have gotten a Russian pedicure if I knew I had ingrown toenails.... I didn't know they were ingrown. They never bothered me in the past. Well now months later because of the way the skin and the sides of the nails were cut, I now have ingrown toenails that I never had before. Also the polish was not neat :( I used to love this place

HOWEVER, with that being said, there was a SMORGUSBOARD of afflictions me and my friend faced amidst the duration of our manicure experience, 1, we both got acrylics measuring around the same length and design complexity, however, and I state this with absolutely no exaggeration, my friend's nails ( and just my friend's nails ) took THREE hours to complete! Whilst mine took roughly 1. It was clear to both me and her that her nail tech was incompetent and unexperienced, often drilling off half an hours' worth of lackadaisical progress to restart entirely, lengthening an already protracted and unpleasant experience. Not to mention the endless amounts of pictures the manager snapped once we had concluded our nightmare of a nail salon experience, holding us captive in the establishment for about another 25 minutes as she tried to " get the lighting right" . Keep in mind, we were already well transitioned into NIGHTTIME, hadn't agreed for them to take the pictures they just started taking them ??? and half the lights in the establishment had already been shut off to conserve power, the whole experience seemed highly unprofessional and extremely rushed towards the end as I'm sure the nail tech herself realized how tremendously prolonged the process had become , only to result in sloppy, reference image incompatible results, overall, very strange and discourteous experience.

Since I was 18 years old. My whole family comes here. Today my Father had a 1:00 PM appointment and was sitting there until 1:20 PM. No one addressed him to tell him that they were running behind and he had to pick my mother up from work at a specific time so he left and called the salon to tell them that he left and that he wasn't happy. When he called, a customer answered the phone. He didn't know it was a customer so he told them that he had a 1 o'clock appointment. He was sitting there for 20 minutes and no one said anything to him so he left and the customer responded with well. I had a 12 o'clock appointment and began rudely arguing with him. My father said that his family has been coming there for years and she said well then tell your family don't come here anymore. Completely unprofessional to have a customer answer the phone and talk to another customer however they want. I called the salon to ask for an explanation as to why they allowed a customer to answer their phone and treat my father that way, and the woman on the phone, Anna, responded because the customer wanted to. I then asked them if they let customers do whatever they want and she said it was because the owner did not speak English. I told him they could've had any worker that does speak English translate, ann not had a customer rudely answer the phone and argue with my father, and she responded that she could not control what the customer said. I told her that she could absolutely control who answers the phone and asked her if she thought it was professional to run a business that way, and she asked me what I wanted her to do about it very rudely. She then told me Jennifer would call me back and hung up on me. The lady on the phone was totally rude, kept trying to justify the actions of the owner and the customer, and did not apologize once. With Jennifer, there or not, someone could have still called my father or us and apologized for that act of unprofessionalism today and for allowing him to be attacked by another customer right in front of them due to their unprofessionalism and having a customer answer the phone. They just justified it by saying that they could not control what a customer said. I have been recommending this nail salon to everyone for years and unfortunately, I will never step foot in here again because of the amount of unprofessionalism that was displayed today. I am BEYOND shocked. This woman was giving me attitude on the phone as if she was the victim. The woman who spoke to my father, that way should've been kicked out of the salon immediately, and my father should have gotten an apology and not justification.
