Hurrah! I found Gerry of GSL CARPET CLEANING. I read the great reviews on this company and decided to give them a call. The owner, Gerry, answered the call and I told him I had a limited budget and he said he'd work within my retired women's budget. After we set a date and time, that was best for me, he immediately emailed me a confirmation. He was very professional in every aspect. Gerry called before arriving to confirm he was arriving shortly. He arrived dressed nicely, with his helper, and even did a pre spot treatment first with a "green" healthy solution. His steam extraction method was nice as the carpet was not very wet and dried quickly.! It looks so much cleaner and fresh. I highly recommend GSL as the owner is HANDS ON! During one of the rain storms we had water go under our sliding door into and on out bedroom carpet. It covered an area about 10 x 4 feet and turned the carpet orange due to the pad under it. We pulled back the carpet and removed the pad and called Gerry to clean it, carefully treating the large stain. While he was there he cleaned other areas in the house, the trails, I call it. His equipment and truck are immaculate and beautiful. To me this sets a visual standard of someone's work. The set up was carefully done using corner blocks to prevent the wall corners from being damaged. Gerry returned in a couple of days, at no charge, to respray the area where some stain leached out and then left me with some of the pro stain spray if I ever needed it. Fantastic company and wonderful customer service! I called Jerry at 8pm on a Sunday, out of 5 companies that I called he was the only one that picked up! My husband and I tried cleaning our own carpet that evening and it ended disastrous! Gerry was excellent. He was super helpful and did a spot test free of charge. In fact, with the spot test itself, it has taken most of the turmeric stains out from my carpet. Gary did an amazing job on our carpets. We needed to find someone to come in and clean our carpets after our puppy had accidents all over our upstairs bedroom carpets, leaving them filthy. Gerry has been cleaning my carpet for probably 10 years, have had him clean a couch a few times also, always does amazing work, But...this time I had him also do my kitchen and entryway tile, that in over time had embedded dirt in the grout and tiles from normal mopping.
