What a great job cleaning my carpets! Richard came out last week and made my carpets look sooo good! They are light colored berber carpets, about 20 years old. Still in good shape but you could see tracking through the rooms. I've had them steam-cleaned before and the tracking didn't come out. But with the Chem-Dry method and Richard's careful and thorough work cleaning them, they look brand new. There's only the slightest amount of shadow in the doorway to the main bedroom but you have to know it's there to notice. Very happy with the method and the service! read more

Our carpets are CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN!!!!! They feel and look GREAT! It had probably been at least 10 years since the last clean...and although the house is a seasonal house and we don't wear our shoes inside the house, it still had its fair share of nail polish, spills, ash from the fireplace and food stains on it from over the years. NOT ANYMORE!!! I was especially worried about the RED nail polish stains, but he was able to get them out and what a relief! It's just so satisfying to walk into our house now and not see little ash smudges from the fireplace or little food-based stains here and there. Really makes a difference to the eye and to the soul. Our tech was very nice and knowledgeable and thorough. So glad we got this done and it was very affordable! This company is great! I needed my couch cleaned and it was a relatively new couch. They took their time and cleaned every spot off of it perfectly.! They were both wearing masks and had great respect for Covid and social distancing. I was very comfortable with them being in my house. Elmer and Jose did an amazing job for me. o needed a irine spot removed from new 5 day old area rug...when i called iwas told it would be 60 plus additional for cleaning solution if needed. I agreed when the tech ca,e he sais they would have to charge me for the whole rug, i pointed out this was not fair as i did not want all the furniture moved etc. he stated he had called Nd they would chrge me for the carpet out of desperation i agreed. i was chathwd for a 10x12 carpet....looking at the invoice for same it is 8x10. My total bill was 470.00! i then called the company and was told a manager would call me back the person confirmed she had stated $60.00 said it was a mistke on her part. It has now been a week...no one hs contacted me and when i leave a message it is not returned! Do not deal with this company if you have any questions make certain they are addressed before they start the job very disappointed as they were reccomended by mny in my area who are just as appaled as i am regrding this. All my stains came right back a couple days later. They charged me $500 to clean 3 rooms and some throw rugs. When they returned my throw rugs after taking g them to their shop to clean them, they wanted an additional $250 because they didn't add in the cleaning products correctly. We called Sunny Hills Chem-Dry based on previous excellent experiences. This time around was a major challenge - we had just given our old living room furniture away to charity, and had new living room furniture being delivered in two days. After the old furniture was picked up, we realized that the extent of wear, mold, staining and fading on the original 30 year old carpet (where the old furniture had been) was absolutely frightening. We did not want to have to buy new carpet, and prayed Chem Dry might be able to help us out just a little. We made an appointment for the next day, and Andres called 15 minutes before arrival to confirm he was on his way. When he arrived we showed him his challenge, and he quickly went to work. He went though a multi-step process of vacuuming, sanitizing, shampooing, extracting, and raking that was simply outstanding and somewhat astounding. Believe me, you cannot make a 30 year old carpet look like new, but the refreshed carpet looked absolutely nothing like it had before Andres' arrival. My wife and I were stunned, elated, relieved and astonished - it looked so good! I know the new furniture will look great on the old but very much cleaned carpet, and the work was done on time, quickly, thoroughly and thoughtfully. Andres was a very nice young man. I am happy with the job done on my couch. I am a little disappointed about what I was told over the phone when I called to set up the appointment. I let the man know the size of my couch and that it was down filled. He told me it would be between 300.00 to 400.00 for my couch. I explained I really could not pay more than 300.00. He than said he would work with me. When Andres arrived he told me it will cost $470.00 and he gave me the disinfectant for free which is normally $30.00. He also let me know it was not in his paperwork that my couch was down filled. And this apparently upped my cost. I ended up going through with it and glad they did a decent job. I'm thinking maybe not a good idea to give people pricing over the phone or say he will work with them. And make sure communication between co workers is stronger. This was the worst carpet cleaning experienceI'vee ever had. I bought a cleaning for my 70-year-old mother on her move out day for $199. when they arrived, of course, they wanted to upsell her which she declined because she is on a budget. they then said they would call the office and see what they could do. they came back and said they could do the per treatment for $75 which she did. she then said she would go across the street to borrow more money. They demanded​ $100 cash up front​ to start (which we found odd) she obliged​ and [aid them. then upon returning the technician​ said somebody must​ have stolen part of the cash they gave her and wanted her to pay them again. They were shady from the start, with a fake phone call to the office​, the high pressure upsell and last but not least the mystery missing money. After all, ​that was​ without a doubt the worst carpet cleaning we have ever had. it smelled 100 times worse than before ​like they just put hot water on the carpet and left it. the carpet was wet and musky for 2 days! We ended renting a rug doctor​ from the store and doing the whole house ourselves. we then called tto talk​ed to a manager who stated they did everything​ right, there​ technicians​ would never lie and he was sure our carpet was clean. they were defensive from the beginning of the call and offerered nothing, not even an apology. it took the manager 5 days to not call us back and finally we called him. it seems like a very poorly run business that does a hard upsell and takes advantage of seniors. all I can say is stay away, if something goes wrong they will not help fix the problem. I got a quote of $120 for living room and 2 bedrooms contingent upon the rooms not being too large. Upon the technicians arrival, i was quoted an extra $60 to treat the high traffic areas, $60 to sanitize and another $60 for protective treatment. Seems like treatment for a the high traffic areas should be standard. Unfortunately for us we made a 2 hour drive to a rental property to be there for the cleaning so we didn't have much choice but to go ahead. The carpet looks much better but even.
