There was no explanation presented of the process they would undertake. Mario was different. He spent a lot of time explaining in detail the condition and previous care (or lack of care) of our slate floors over the years and the detailed process that his company would undertake to restore them. I was very hopeful after convincing myself that the floors were beyond saving. Mario was so transparent and patient with us that we decided to put our trust in him and his family-owned business even though his bid was slightly higher than the others. Well, Tilecare validated the truth to the adage "you get what you pay for". From the beginning, the crew was prompt and timely with their service and Mario was always available to answer questions and address concerns. The crew was extremely skilled, efficient, professional and courteous. The end result was beyond anything that I could have imagined and we are so happy that we opted for restoration over replacement. I would highly recommend Mario and his family and guarantee you that they will deliver beyond expectations.

So, it took 2 hour and 15 minutes at a cost of $2,000. At the end, the employee was using a rag to wipe up the wet spots on the floors, then he used the same rag on the counters! They came and got me and said it was back where it was when they moved it, it wasn't. They asked me to direct them on placement. They had to move the rug twice, but only by inches. After the second time, he turned and said that was the last and they would have to charge me for another attempt. This wasn't worth $2,000 it wasn't worth $1,000. They showed up on time, did what they were contracted for and a bit more and did it very well. They moved some furniture, were careful about it and at all times worked at a steady but not rushed pace in a very deliberate way. They answered all my questions and were very professional in the way they conducted themselves. They were friendly but not overly familiar. The total time on site was about 2 hours, maybe a bit more. All this for $ 370 out the door including ScotchGuard treatment. I got 4 quotes. Prices were between $350 and $975. This is a second home that is occupied about 1/4 to 1/3 of the year or so and things don't get as much use as full time occupancy but being installed 5 years ago, the carpets needed cleaning. The results were better than I expected. When they were finished, the carpets look, smell and feel like the day they were installed. Given the quality of most services these days, I am pleasantly surprised. A job well done and professionally so for a fair price is quite rare these days, but I feel that's what I got. I'm writing this review anyway, because how they handled that is the reason I'd use them again. Jonathan ran the first treatment the first week of August. When it didn't take, he came back with Tyler, the owner, and went further: enzyme injections directly into the foam. The damage was too far gone. They charged nothing for that second visit, and then offered to come out a third time -- the sofa is lost regardless, so there was no point, but the offer was made. Two visits, one $375 bill, and a third offered free. They didn't save my sofa. They also didn't stop trying, and they didn't send me another invoice for the effort. I'd call them again.
