I recently had some issues with a few vanes being defective, and Jennifer (SUPER helpful!!!!!) at GSM Outdoors replaced them no problem which was awesome! Glad they stand behind their products like they do. Very satisfied with GSM and will continue to do business with their brands!! Here is what I think about the New Archery Products Quik Spin vanes they sell under the NAP branding. I have been using Quik Spins for many years. I have found that they are superior to most other vanes in one way. I have yet to find a vane that will spin an arrow any faster than these spin an arrow. When you spin an arrow fast, the energy imparted to the shaft is concentrated more to the center of the shaft, keeping it more straight when it flies through the air, and most importantly, more straight when it impacts its intended target. What does that mean you ask? It means you will get much greater penetration as there is less energy expended in the shaft flexing to the side and more energy driving the point into the target. Prime example. I tested the 2' Quik Spin vanes against the common Blazer vane. These vanes are very similar in appearance, but extremely different in construction and performance. I cut a dozen shafts and fletched part of them with 2" Quik Spins and part of them with 2" Blazers. I had a brand new Block target and shot them both at 60 yards. Not only were my groups with the 2" Quik Spins tighter, but the arrows were 4-5" deeper into the target vs the Blazer vanes. So in conclusion, I have found these vanes to be amazing and one of the best vanes to help me be the best archer I can be. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed! read more

Jennifer P rocks! I ordered 2 SOG knives back in March. It's taken a little while since GSM recently acquired SOG and have been relocating the warehouse from Washington to Texas. I've called a few times over the last month and a half and have spoken to probably every person in their customer service department: Summer, Rachael, Lacrecia, Malachi, Jeremiah, Robert, and last, but certainly not least, Jennifer P. Each time I called, whoever I spoke to was polite and explained the situation and apologized for the delay and said I was welcome to call back any time to check the status, which was nice. Yesterday, though, I hit the jackpot with Jennifer! She spent probably close to half an hour helping me ( maybe more, but I dont want to get her in trouble...lol ). She checked my order status...checked inventory and my position on the list...e-mailed the warehouse for me...and even found me a better Military discount than the one they'd already given me. I am a professor in an environmental sciences program a college. We have an outdoor lab property. I have purchased a total of 8 StealthCam cameras. The first set of 4 all worked great until they were stolen and/or vandalized. I ordered a second set of 4, all of which work great. I also put in a metal "bear box" and locked them to the trees. Despite these efforts, one of them still ended up getting vandalized by busting the camera lens. Although it was not a faulty product, I decided to contact GSM to see if I could get a replacement lens. I spoke with Tamera. She was very patient and sympathetic. She explained that they do not have replacement parts. Since it was not a faulty product, it was not covered under warranty. However, they did send me a new camera at a 50% discount. This was much appreciated and unexpected. Tamera provided excellent customer service! I have been very pleased with the StealthCam products, along with their customer service. I had purchased one of their products through a different vendor in another state as a gift for someone else. When they opened it and tried to put it together, there were pieces missing and some of the ones that were there weren't the right ones for the part. I called the store I bought it from to see about an exchange, but they were sold out at all 3 of their locations, and after checking around, I couldn't find any in stock in another store either, so I called the manufacturer. I really didn't expect to get this problem resolved, but Ed was very helpful in finding a solution to my problem. Unfortunately, it won't fix the immediate use need, but I felt it was compensatory as ultimately it removed stressors on my end. We had many people tell us, and show us, how well the Hawk Crawler Game Cart works, and the person I got it for is really excited to get to use it, even if he doesn't get to use it for his big trip this weekend. A few months back I had the opportunity to go to shooting shoot smart to practice with my firearm and when I was leaving the facility I noticed these great looking gun gear backpacks. I was feeling good about my range performance and slugging around with heavy aluminum cases kind of was a bummer to my old body. So I bought one! At home I was reading the tag describing the pockets as having been lined with "Velour". Well I didn't see any fabric and the plastic lined pockets had no Velour so I fired off an email and the next day the customer service department asked me to provide photos of the bag and a receipt. I do so and the next day I received an email stating the bag was not properly built and that they would be happy to replace it if I send it in with the provided FEDEX label. I dropped the bag off at the local CVS and within 2 weeks a new bag showed up at my door. I recently ordered 2 Avian-X LCD turkey decoys from Cabelas. The box arrived today. There were the two correct decoys in the box, but there were supposed to be 2 carry bags and 2 collapsible decoy stakes, however, there was only one bag and one stake. I called Cabelas, but they were unable to help me as they do not carry these items separately, and they were out of this combo decoy pack. I then called GSM Outdoors and was so blessed to be greeted by a customer service representative whose name is Paula. WOW! That lady Rocks! Talk about customer service. Very pleasant. Very professional. Very efficient. She took my information and stayed on the line while I scanned in and emailed my proof of purchase to her. My experience with SOG (WA) products predates their purchase by GSM Outdoors. I am told mfg will remain as before, with the only difference being the location of the company is now TX. This review is only about my two initial contacts with TX customer service about support questions. On two different calls, both Tamara and Paige helped me with information about my current order and how to navigate some of the site features for the many products the company represents. I found both representatives to be pleasant, knowledgeable and willing to suggest multiple ways to get information that I needed to make purchases. For example, using the Compare feature is a great tool when there are so many good choices in products and the Tracking feature gets me the details of where and when I will get my new gear. Great personal service, Thanks Jerimiah for your speedy service and also to Victoria who gave me a quick follow upon when I had not received it three weeks. The delay was due to Christmas shipping rush and bad weather between their place and mine. I had ordered two Hawk Reveal ground blinds back in the mid to late October. The arrived promptly, and I set them up early November. One had a defective hub on one side, which just would not stay extended. I reached customer service and spoke with Jerimiah. He informed me that they kept no parts and that he would issue a return authorization number. They would ship me a new blind as soon as they received the defective model. So a few days past before I could get out to our hunting property and ship the blind back. I have received the new blind and it is perfect. Took two deer and had turkeys walk past blind at 10 yards, very good concealment considering we had not "brushed it in". read more

I ordered a tree stand from GSM in Sept 2020. When I received, and built it, it was missing a piece. Actually had 2 of the same pieces instead of mirror images. I called customer service and they did not have inventory of this piece due to COVID supply chain issues. I tried back a few months later and still no part. (They did offer for me to pack it up and send it back but I chose not to do this). I completely forgot about this stand and moved to another state in 2021. I just realized it was boxed up and stored away. I called today (May 2022) and the customer service agent was very nice (Tamara) and I provided my proof of purchase and details and she is sending me a replacement for the Tree Stand! I could not be happier with this resolution!.. I understand that due to supply chain issues they could not resolve earlier but did offer to take it back and replace with a different model. I have purchased a TG 8516TL TruGlo scopes from two different distributors and both scopes were not the correct scope when received. They did not match the picture advertised nor did they match the same scope I had purchased a year ago from a different supplier. I contacted GSM customer service and spoke with Page O. the first time and I sent pictures as she had requested. The second time I called, I spoke with Jazminn C. and she asked me to return the incorrect scope and GSM would replace it. I have now returned the scope and expecting my correct scope any time now. After two years of waiting i decided to purchase a Hunter HD 1.5 tree stand. Yes drove over 400 km up north and start putting it together and than the installation. everything went good up to a moment of climbing up to the seat. Boom...the bar from the tree to the ladder gave up. It was bad but not critical. Great customer service. I recently purchased a Hawk Crawler cart. When it arrived, the box was damaged with several large holes. Inside, some hardware was missing. I contacted GSM Outdoors (owner of Hawk) customer service and rep Janet arranged for the replacement of the cart. When the new cart arrived, it too was damaged and missing even more parts and hardware. GSM customer service rep Tamara was equally helpful and arranged for another replacement to be sent to me. I returned a Tru Glo Opti-Speed scope that had a manufactures defect. I spoke to Customer Service Representative Denese. She was very friendly, and helpful is resolving my issue. The scope I returned had been discontinued by Tuo Glo and no longer available. Denese was able to find a direct replacement scope from Apex. I bought a Quad Pod Hunting Blind. After installation, it fell over. It may have been damaged in transit and compromised the integrity. The heavy duty metal legs should not have bent with the weight only. I called and Denise helped me process my replacement. When I called back to finalize it, I was helped by Jeremiah.
