Update: I was contacted by the general management staff of GTC regarding the issue of safety as well as the actions of their manager the next day. Management and the corporate offices are working to establish guidelines to ensure that what happened that evening will not be frequent occurrences. They also apologized for the information I received the following day from the manager on duty. Just trying to help out other innocent movie goers who are not aware of the PG-13 after-hours movie experience at Galleria. This post only represents one incident. I really like this movie theater, and this is the only negative incident I've experienced here. I've been coming here for about 2 years. I had two great PG-13 experiences at this theater: IT and Black Panther. Both features were viewed after 7:30 pm. Both viewings were fantastic interactive experiences with the other movie goers. So, when I recently went to watch a PG-13 movie, I was excited! Well, 2 hours later, I found myself in 'mom'-mode protecting a young lady from a movie theater full of kids. Don't even ask what the movie was about because I have no idea! I spent the entire movie having popcorn thrown on me, my seat being kicked, kids constantly walking in front of the movie screen, begging security/management to do something about the kids fighting in the theater, and basically making sure a young lady didn't get beat. The end result was a mob, several fights, police being called, me witnessing a young lady get punched in her head, and just pure madness! When I returned the next day, the manager on duty said that I should have approached them yesterday (the night of the event) to ask for my refund. She gave me some free tickets and also advised that maybe I shouldn't come to a PG-13 on the weekend after 7 pm. (Note: She was not one of the managers on duty the night before so she certainly did not understand the complete chaos that had ensued!) So here's the tip: I'm not telling you to avoid Galleria. I still go to the movies here. However, please Doomsday Prep for your movie experience if you want to view a popular PG-13 after 7 pm at this movie theater when school is out. read more

The theaters are roomy with comfortable seats, and the ticket prices are reasonable. They also offer a $2.00 discount for seniors. Popcorn, sodas, and snacks are expensive but that's typical. Concession stand workers were quick and pretty friendly too. Only problem is that Hollywood isn't making many good movies lately, but we really enjoyed the Top Gun remake and are grateful Galleria brought it back for a second run. Hope to see more films with heroes (and NOT Marvel characters) or non-raunchy comedies. read more

It's a decent place to watch a movie in the area. Nothing really special about it but it gets the job done. They have stadium seating and a standard assortment of theater refreshments. If the line for tickets is long you might want to check out the two ticket kiosks inside. Seating is on a first come first serve basis (i.e. no assigned seating). read more

The mini Concession/ kiosk stand had limited items. If they are remodeling they need to hurry it along because popcorn sitting in buckets and bags is not good. My popcorn was cold. i appreciate the sudo concession stand but hurry and bring out the real one. I was extremely disappointed in the mini stand..IS THAT BECAUSE OF CUTBACKS..I didn't see a remodeling sign. The theater was gorgeous, clean and comfortable. Movies here are decently priced. The theaters are clean and the staff is friendly. There is no military discount, which I found odd with it being so close to a huge military base. They do have a matinee and senior citizen pricing. Concessions are wildly expensive. A large soda (like the size large was before America got greedy and fat) runs $5.00. Only the large will get you a free refill. If you have multiple people seeing a show, go for a combo and save a buck or two. You can get a couple sodas and a giant tub of popcorn for $18 (that's $1 off). There is ample parking and it's connected to the mall, so if you buy a ticket early, you can walk around and not be bored. I'll go back. Haven't had a bad time there yet. read more

Galleria Mall Cinemas, Thanks for selling my mother a $50 gift card that "isn't in your system". Also, thanks for not making in right when I tried to purchase tickets with it today. Thanks for making my 3 kids and I wait for 20 minutes while you tried to "figure it out". My kids and I didn't really want to see the new Captain America movie today anyway. We totally weren't excited about seeing it. Clearly, my mother stole the card and didn't actually spend hundreds of dollars on gift cards at your theater. Well, one of the cards my mother purchased from you worked, so maybe she paid for that one and swiped the other one while the cashier wasn't looking. I'll be sure to tell my mom to "steal" gift cards from another company. You have clearly caught on. Also, asking me to show you the receipt for the gift cards is a great policy. Because my mom would totally have the receipt for gift cards she purchased before Christmas. Maybe I should start my own investigation agency to find the receipts. Maybe I should have left the theater to spend hours searching for them. I bet she has them in the pile of receipts she keeps for everything else she has ever purchased in her time here on earth. I guess the burden of proof should be on us though. I mean the group of geniuses you have working at that theater couldn't have possibly made a mistake. Haven't had a bad experience here ever. Theaters are clean, restrooms are nicely maintained. Police are present for the later movies to ensure no rowdiness. Snacks are good and there's adequate parking. Staff are friendly as well. read more

This is one of the more decent theaters in the area. It has a large number of showings and the stadium seating is really nice. It's not perfect, though. Concessions are way too expensive, though that's true everywhere -- I go without nowadays. And they have this bad habit of putting the big action movies right next door to the quieter movies, and the walls don't keep the sounds from bleeding through very well. The theater we were in was very hot and we complained three different times, after 30 mins and complaining the final time, the manager said the AC wasn't working. On a day where temps outside were in the 90's a hot theater is very uncomfortable. What was the most unacceptable was the manager acted like she could care less, she offered no apology, no refund, nothing and just shrugged her shoulders saying she had tried but there was nothing else to do and walked away. We had to demand our money back and even then she acted annoyed at us. Extremely lazy staff, all lacking in customer service skills but considering the way the management handled things perhaps they are following by example. I would never recommend this theater to anyone, I most certainly will never go there again. I can completely understand the AC not working, those things happen. But to not tell your customers, who are complaining about it being uncomfortably hot and to not at the very least offer an apology shows how little this company feels about it's customers. It's one of the better Cinemas in the area. My major complaint is their failure to post movie times. For example I was looking for movie for this coming Saturday (and it is Monday) they only have one movie posted to show on Saturday at this time. read more

There is no reason for it to be as cold as it is in this theater. Couldn't even enjoy our movie because we were so cold.

The galleria cinemas is a take it or leave it for me personally. It is the 2nd largest theater in the middle Georgia area and it is ok. There is something about this theatre that is just dark I guess. It shows its age maybe that is words I am looking for. I will go here if the show time is better than the one on 96 but mainly I go to 96. Prices for movies are high but that is anywhere. read more

Worst theatre in the area! Stains on some screens, blown, scratchy speakers in some screens, padding on armrests of chairs worn down to metal. Staff is so short that they make you wait in long concession lines just to get your prepurchased ticket ripped when it's not a weekend night show. Went to a movie this summer only to enter a pitch black theatre and sit for 20 minutes until actual movie started...no trailers, no ads, no sound and no lights for 20 minutes. Went to the Saturday matinee and bought one ticket. Used my debit card and when I checked my statement I find I was overcharged. Debit was for $10.50!!! Tried to call but cannot get phone answered. There are a lot of things not to like about this movie theater. The best way would be from the outside in. Parking can often be a problem here, though that just goes to show that the movies are popular. At one point this theater only allowed for cash payments, I thought this might have been the 21st century with credit card payments being acceptable, but who knows (they've since solved this problem). The concession stand has all the regular items that you would expect at a movie theater, but the price gouging is unbelievable. Being in the South, large tubs of popcorn and enormous soft drinks should be expected, but here a large 5 buck drink (it was 5ish, I don't know the exact amount) is about a quarter of the size of what you might get at another movie theater. With ice sloshing around in the cup you're getting even less. Finally there's an actual policeman standing outside many of the newer movies. Movie gang violence, drug use, or extreme illegal activity must be rampant in Warner Robins. The inside of the theater is like any other, nothing special about the place. read more

I just recently took my 3 year old god sister to see "The Princess and the Frog". Never in a million years would I have expected to pay $6.50 for her ticket. All other business in town offer children tickets free for under 5 years old. Including the high price steakhouses. I paid almost as much for her ticket as I did mine as an adult. I could understand the prices being that high on opening night. But the theatre was not even half full. read more
