Vibes weren't super great with Devin the GM. Took the tacos to go!

I really wanted to love Vatos Tacos because the food itself has solid potential, but unfortunately, the customer service during my visit left a lot to be desired. The biggest issue was the experience with Devin, the GM. His interactions while taking orders came across as dismissive and somewhat arrogant, which set an uncomfortable tone from the start. What was more concerning was how he spoke to and treated the team members he was supervising -- it felt unnecessarily sharp and demeaning, especially in front of customers. There was also a noticeable delay with billing and follow-up, and communication around timing wasn't very clear. We sat at the bar, so it was a bit tough to ignore him since he was directly in front of us, serving as the bartender. A little more attentiveness and courtesy would have gone a long way. That said, Matt truly stood out in the best way. He was gracious, warm, and incredibly courteous. He took time to share his personal favorites, offered some off-menu secrets that genuinely elevated our tasting experience, and even suggested local festivals and activities to my friend who had just moved to the area. In a world that has felt especially chaotic lately, his kindness was deeply appreciated -- perfectly paired with a side of tacos and Topo Chicos. I hope this was just an off day on the management side, because the spot has promise. With more polished and respectful customer service -- especially at the leadership level -- the overall experience could improve significantly.

I loved the Chicken Taco salad. The steak quesadilla was really good too. I ordered a Paloma and it was very good not too sour or sweet. Just smooth.

Food was good, small portions, nice service. The place is cool, other than people letting their kids run around like banshees lol. Lots of space to kick back both in and out.

I love their burritos. The service was quick and sitting outside on the patio was calming.

Bartender lied and said that I ordered something I didn't. Wouldn't give me a refund would not exchange. Customer service isn't worth it.

The food was fine. Very low prices. I'm not a fan of the decor or paint colors inside.

Olde Town Arvada is way off my usual stomping grounds, so although I had read quite a bit about…read morethis shop over the years, I had never visited. We finally decided to check out the shopping and dining district. Rheinlander was our final (and best!) stop. The bakery dates back to 1963 and is now on the third generation of ownership. The quality is certainly being maintained at a high level. This is a traditional, German bakery with a huge variety of authentic European cakes, cupcakes, sweet and savory pastries, pies, cookies, coffee cakes, and the only reason I think a German bakery should exist--strudel! Strudels are available whole, half, or by the slice. The usual flavors are apple, cherry, blueberry cream cheese, cherry cream cheese, and Boston cream. We bought slices of the apple, cherry, and blueberry cream cheese. These were perfection and absolutely delightful. I was totally focused on the strudel case (yes, there's a lot of strudel on offer), but I believe there are eight huge cases of treats, each one looking more enticing than the next. Quite a few gluten-free, sugar-free, and dairy-free options are available, so if that's what you need, this is the place for you. The bakery was moderately busy during our visit. There was plenty of staff and they were all friendly, helpful, and very efficient, so purchases moved swiftly. Lots of coffee and drink options are available. There's nice outside seating if you can't wait to take your goodies home. It's a long drive for us, but we were really impressed and we'll find a reason to visit Arvada so we can stop back soon. Yum.

Some restaurants serve food…read more La Belle French Bakery serves edible works of art. The moment you walk through the door, it's obvious this isn't a place that cuts corners. Between the pastry case that looks like it belongs in a museum and croissants so perfectly golden brown they almost appear artificial, every item seems to have been crafted with an almost unreasonable amount of care. I ordered the breakfast croissant, a black coffee, and a blueberry muffin. Now, I firmly believe a bakery's coffee should be judged the same way a singer is judged performing acoustically: no fancy tricks, no backup dancers, nowhere to hide. If your black coffee is excellent, everything else is built on a strong foundation. Thankfully, La Belle passed that test with flying colors. The breakfast croissant somehow managed to be both delicately flaky and impossibly soft at the same time. Every bite left a trail of evidence on my shirt that I regret absolutely none of. I'm fairly certain the croissant received more quality control inspections than my first apartment. The blueberry muffin was equally impressive, striking that magical balance between homemade comfort and professional craftsmanship. But if I had to describe La Belle in a single word, it would be love. You do not create food this visually stunning and effortlessly delicious unless the people behind it are deeply passionate about what they do. Every pastry, sandwich, dessert, and loaf of bread seemed to radiate the kind of attention to detail normally associated with Swiss watchmakers, NASA engineers, and grandmothers preparing for a family gathering. I've had plenty of delicious meals before. What stood out here wasn't just the flavor - it was the unmistakable feeling that every item was made by people who genuinely care about their craft. The passion wasn't subtle. It practically walked out from behind the counter, introduced itself, and insisted I try another pastry. By the time I left, I had already started recommending La Belle to friends. Between finishing brunch this morning and writing this review tonight, I've probably talked about this bakery more than any reasonable person should. And honestly? I regret nothing. 10/10. I'll absolutely be back.
