I would give this place 3 stars only because what most people are not telling others is that their tacos are small...Although, they do stuff their tacos...But, in the pictures posted they are made on a very small corn tortilla so they are not even regular sized corn tortilla... you would have to ask them to make them on a regular size corn tortilla, if they even have them...I will say they do not skimp out on the portions of meat though. Do not, do not waste your money ordering the chips & salsa...heck, they should be complimentery as we wait on our orders because they are not worth paying for!!!!!...the salsa is like watered down & kinda sweet tasting not even hot & spicy at all, as for the chips they taste nasty too!!!..its the first time I've ever tasted a chip I did not like!!!!!!! I suggested in the pic I posted for them to try using Dallas tortilla factory chips because they taste good & authentic...So, do not waste your money ordering these trust what I am telling you its such a disappointment & you will have buyers remorse once you realize it was a waste of money!!! read more

They forgot a torta from my order and so we called ahead and asked them to make it , they requested we bring the entire order back... from arlington. So we went back and they said they simply "didnt want to remake it" and then made us pay for another torta ... so all of our food is cold and we paid more than we should have. Terrible customer service. this is my favorite taco place that i drive 20+ minutes for. Will not be back. Let me add that when we called , they were nice on the phone and agreed to remake it--the entire order so that it would fresh. But when drove20 minutes back and went in to return it... it was an issue. read more

It's okay. I had high hopes based on the reviews, I wasn't floored by the food. It's a small space with very limited parking. It's in a 2-3 business strip. You order at the counter and pick up from the counter. I got chicken enchiladas that were drier than I like. The rice was okay, but the refried beans were gross. I also got chips and guac. The chips were starting to get stale, and the guacamole was missing something. I also got a margarita that was weeaakkk. I was ready to go, and pour the drink out, and I don't believe in alcohol abuse. My daughter got nachos and the queso was thinner than it should have been. I won't be back. read more

I called before hand and asked about Barbacoa.. traditional Barbacoa is cachete or lengua, they gave me braised beef and I paid for a pound but it was more about 3/4 of a pound. When I'm in that neck of the woods Guanataco is my go to!! I discovered Guanataco and my love for it in 2017 and have stayed loyal since, they're insanely busy these days but they stay on top of their service and quality!! Pollo Salsa is their neighbor known for their big self serve salsa bar but Guanataco takes the cake! Their food is always delicious, I used to get their pastor and carne asada tacos until I discovered their Alambre, it's the juiciest meltiest delicious mess! So delicious, and their salsas are very consistent as well and each flavor profile does not lack. Ambiance is nice and casual, can't get enough of them I think it's time to make the trip! read more

Based on the reviews I read, I wanted to love this place but I found the food average at best. The chicken taco and fish taco that I had were minuscule and just meh. The spicy beef burrito that my husband had was big but again, just not that great. He used a lot of habenero salsa on it. Preparation of the food took about 15 minutes or so even though they were not that busy. The real annoyance were the 2 young girls at the register who was not at all friendly or cordial. We went on a Friday evening, the line was long but it was totally worth the wait. I got the birria tacos and wow, they were chefs kiss! They actually stuff the tacos as well. The guacamole with chips was so good, I also added some of the green sauce they have. The restaurant is really cute and they have signs all over the restaurant. Heard great things about this place and it's only 5 min from our house. So I decided to take my family here. Ordered and the cashier was very nice, gave us a beeper and we sat. I took a look at the salsa bar and grabbed all the flavors to try them out. After 20 minutes I noticed all the newer patrons getting their food before us, and patiently kept waiting. After 30 minutes passed, I asked the gentleman giving out orders if we had been forgotten. He looked at my ticket and then looked at me and said, "it's okay. 5 minute." At this point my kiddos were already restless and whining about the wait. So after another 10 minutes I just went to the cashier and asked for a refund. When I spoke to her, I believe a manager was next to her and she was telling him I wanted a refund, he pointed to the register and said okay. She gave me cash back and apologized, but what irked me the most was the manager didn't even care to address the issue, just simply waved off the 40 min my family and I wasted waiting for nothing. I know my review won't matter, since I'm just a nobody in the sea of customers they have, but I hope my review can help upper management help better the experience for future patrons. read more

Still 5/5 stars for me. I love ordering on Uber eats, rather than waiting because this place is always packed! That's how you know it's good, however the inside is fairly small, maybe 10 tables. Parking lot is always full. Everything always taste good. We usually order the fajita taco special with 10 tacos. Kids chicken nuggets and fries are good, good serving size. First off these are street tacos the small ones that usually come like 3 to an order at some establishments. Ordered online the service was great. They confirm said like 45 minutes for my food so I went in and asked they said just a few minutes. It's pretty casual inside and they have patio seating too. They may get a bit pricey if you have a big appetite lol. I got a chicken Gordita, a carnita tostada, a beef fajita taco and an elote. It was almost $14. The elotes was delicious and the Gordita was a nice size and full of meat and cheese. My fav was the fajita taco it was only like 2-3 bites but so good. Didn't care for the carnita meat and the tostada was like 2-3 bites. I will definitely go again. The portions weren't quite my expectation but the food is good. read more

Okay so this place is in the middle of no where in Grand Prairie but that's okay because the inside of the restaurant and the food was DELICIOUS! I ordered the taco meal combo (came with 3 street tacos, rice and beans and a drink for $7.50) I got the shredded pork, beef and chicken tacos. You order at the counter then sit down. They have a salsa bar with at least 6 different salsas. ALL OF THEM ARE SOO SPICY! I loved it! My friend and I decided to eat at the restaurant which probably seats close to 30 people. The place was empty on a Wednesday evening around 7pm. Unfortunately the food wasn't hot but like almost lukewarm. I was nervous because you know...Lukewarm restuarant food somehow always gives you food positioning but thank you Jesus I did not get food poisoning and despite the food being lukewarm it was so good. The shredded pork tacos were so greasy and delicious; I've never had pork that tasted that good. The rice and beans were great too but we wished they were hotter. I'd skip the beef tacos and just stick with the pork and chicken. Also, the tortillas were the small corn tortillas. We came late and it was nice, they had on soccer and football game on. It's more of a sit down taco place and we got chicken, barbacoa and pastor tacos with a sweet tea. The food was ready in about 10 minutes and they were very polite. The chicken taco was in flower and was very good, the pastor and barbacoa were corn and also good. I've been searching for some really good Mexican food in Dallas. And I came across this place through a suggestion on another review. The overall restaurant is very cute, decorated nicely and their menu is modern, colorful and organized. I went with my mom and tried the 10 taco special and a burrito. Overall I will say that everything was tasty, but I do have a few critiques. The tacos were on the small side and the chicken tacos were kind of bland in flavor. My streak ones were okay, but I was expecting a more carne asada meat. But I've yet to find that anywhere in Texas really. The burrito was a good size but definitely filled with more rice than anything (and I love rice and beans in my burritos) but it just seemed like a rice and a little bit of meat burrito. It could be due to the shortages in meat rn. So if recommend that they put a lil more meat in their portions to make it worth it. Also their salsa were delicious! There's a pineapple one that I've never really had anywhere before that adds a really good flavor to your food. They def are alittle spicy according to my mom. But I thought they were delicious. I would possible come back considering it was one of the better spots I've tried out here. But I'm still out here looking for THE BEST read more

They have a large variety of meat options such as pastor, barbacoa, shrimp, fish, and chicken that can be put in quesadillas, tortas, tacos, etc. I always order two pastor tacos and a side of rice and that's enough food for me! They also have a three taco plate with rice and beans that's priced around $7 pre-tax. You can put in online orders also!
