I set up an appointment for a gutter cleaning/check. They notified me before they were coming, did the cleaning checked out the gutters and chimney. I got an email with the work that was done with a link to pay, very easy and no contact was needed. I also got a quote with pictures for recommended work that they noticed during the inspection. I went ahead with the quote and had them repair some trouble areas on the gutters that would constantly drip during and after it would rain. They also sealed some spots on the chimney that was in need of repair. Again no contact needed, I got an email with a link to pay the bill once the work was complete. I needed one downspout removed and two others re-routed to direct rain water out of my backyard and into the front. I contacted several gutter companies, and most would not do the job; they only wanted to do complete installations. Tim from Guaranteed Gutters came out to my house and conducted and inspection. He and I went over what I wanted to make sure it would work properly and could be done. They quoted the job and did the work the following week. After buying an outdated, old house we had Tim come out to assess the gutters on the garage as well as just give the whole house a look to see what needed to be repaired. He did a full inspection and offered to repair our current garage gutters rather than just saying we needed to replace them (which we knew we'd have to do). Scheduled normal gutter cleaning a few months past. Scheduling was easy as I didn't have to even be home for them to do their work. I received a call from my crew whom was having a bit of trouble finding the address, and after straightening that out (happens, no big deal.) About 30 minutes later I got a follow up call stating they were done and no problems have been found during their inspection. When I got home an invoice was waiting in my inbox for payment. This was the first time we used Guaranteed Gutters and we will continue to use them! Communication was the best. They gave me a 10-day window for my appointment and let me know the night before. I did not have to be there which was great so I didn't have to take off work. They cleaned our gutters and assessed anything that might need repairs. When they were done they sent me pictures of everything that needed to be fixed and then someone called me to discuss the repairs. Once I agreed they were able to send someone out the same day to do the repairs. In addition I noticed a couple holes 2 weeks after Guaranteed Gutters was here and they sent someone out immediately to fix it. No questions asked. Tree came down in a wind storm. They fixed it and insurance paid for it. The also installed gutter mesh. The tree fall gutter work wasn't 100% and we were having a little be of a waterfall problem. I called Tim to get some advice on a couple of minor downspout issues I identified. He was completely professional and pleasant in speaking with me about the job. In a very polite and respectful way, he let me know that the best thing for me to do was probably just to take care of it myself -- the job just wasn't that complicated and for what he would have to charge me, it didn't make sense to pay him. Note that he wasn't going to charge me a great deal, but I ought to be able to just do it myself for a few dollars. So, he gets plenty of credibility points from me, and he will be my first call when I need some more complicated work done on the gutters. read more

We had a very minor issue with the gutters on our condo. The bottom half of one of our downspout gutters had fallen off during the winter. Tim was very helpful and professional. He was out within a few days to repair our fallen gutter. He also sealed the bottom of the gutter which runs into the clay downspout. Very pleased with our experience with Guaranteed Gutters. We had a downspout that was completely clogged and we knew we needed it repaired or replaced, as well as some repairs on another downspout. Another company had cleaned our gutters and pointed out the issues, but they were not able to take care of the repairs. GG assessed the work quickly and also saw a few other issues on our roof that needed to be addressed. I was really nervous about getting a gutter cleaning--because it is my first home I was expecting some crazy bad news once they got up there and looked around. A part of my gutter had blown off and I needed them to fix it. Once the weather let up, Tim came immediately, and I didn't realize they had been there until I opened my door and saw the little door knob sign letting me know they had been there. The assessment was great--he told me what I might need to think about doing in the future, and made repairs to the gutters and the roof and it was a very reasonable price. I used this company based on reviews here on YELP and they were recommended by neighbors in my neighborhood on the app "NEXTDOOR"...so I went online and requested them to come out and assess the issues on our newly purchased home (we just bought a house in Albany Park that was rehabbed--I do NOT recommend anyone EVER buys a house from a rehab/investment group--tons of cut corners!)...but anyways--the guys they sent out to assess and clean the dirty gutters took photos of everything that was going on up there (and you don't have to be home for this either--I just happened to be) and because I was home they talked to me about everything and advised me there were some issues and some flashing missing (which was supposed to be done by seller--the rehab group) so I had to get attorneys involved for that and they had to pay for the flashing (apron) part of the invoice--I gave a 4 star because they did take forever to get me the quote and a revised quote that shows the actual charge for the flashing/apron so I could give to attorneys to prove what seller needed to pay for. I had to constantly email and text to get that and then lock down a date they could come out and fix it--but they did! I do understand though that Chicago has experienced an insane amount of rain this year and I was probably not the only one with gutter issues...they sent guys out to repair everything and all seems good so far!
