While they were up there, they pointed out a few minor areas that needed attention and added caulking to ensure everything was sealed properly. Not a good experience overall. The price was competitive but the work was questionable and the communication was terrible. They added a bunch of roofing material to my roof hatch cut out making it much harder to fit the hatch on top of the opening. I had to end up cutting back a bunch of the extra roofing material to make it fit and hired a handyman to help me do that. They also left nails and garbage on the roof and in the backyard. They left a broken plastic tube that expels water from the furnace hanging over the side of the house where it was splashing onto us in the gangway. When I asked Nick on a Sunday to have someone come back and take a look at it he said someone would come look on Monday. I didn't hear from anyone until five days later on Saturday morning when Nick said he would come look at it. I told him I had already fixed it. To be clear, I think the tube got ripped in the storm damage, but they could have told me about it or at least not left it hanging over the side of the house if they weren't going to fix it. Communication was really bad too. They came out right before a downpour on a Monday and had to pause work in the middle of that. They were then going to come back the next day, but then told me later they would come back Friday. Nick told me his guy would come Friday morning possibly before 8am. I was surprised to have JR on my porch and calling me at 6:10am. I've never had a contractor show up that early and told him I couldn't disturb the 2nd floor tenants that early. JR said he would be back at 1pm. He came back at 8:55am instead without explanation and expected to be let in. When Nick and company failed to show up to address the plastic tubing situation, he said he felt bad and wanted to make it up to me. I told him he could send me back $100 for my time and effort addressing issues related to the roof job. I spent 2-3 hours of my time addressing roof issues (tubing and roof hatch), going to Menards, and spent money on a handyman. He has yet to reply and that was three days ago. The price was decent, but I very much feel like I got what I paid for and had to pay extra in both my time and money to remediate the project. I would not hire them again. read more

Wonderfully responsive and quick service especially on a holiday weekend, after all the recent storms, our roof began leaking. Responded quickly to our late evening call, setup inspection next day, examined and provided a temporary fix that same day, and gave us a deal to do the full repair. They were able to fit the job in a few days later and complete in one day for two small roofs. Communicative throughout the process and upfront about costs. Highly recommend! read more

I requested an estimate for some spot tuckpointing and sealing. While most of the tuckpointing around the house was fine, there were some extended spots that absolutely needed repairs (including the chimney). They came out the next day for an estimate; I thought the value for the proposed work was excellent as they included some water-proof sealing around the perimeter of the house to stop water from potentially entering the basement. I would have been happy with tuckpointing only around the spots that needed it but they went above and beyond, sometimes redoing the entire row from side to side to give it a more seamless look. Obviously this is appreciated. The work looks great, and I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again; in fact I requested a quote for additional work. Finally, notice this company has a Yelp shield, meaning that you are insured for $2500 if not happy. At first I was not sure if I wanted to request a quote from them because they did not have lots of reviews, but that convinced me. And I couldn't be happier so I am also happy to write this review for them as they truly deserve it. Work started quickly, was done in just a couple of days, and everything was left pristine.
