Be aware of this place if you have any care for your loved ones. Might not be the safest or healthiest place to have elderly.

I have been searching for an Assisted Living Facilities for my parents…read more We have family in Coeur d'Alene and it seemed like a perfect city. My dad lived here many years ago. I have visited many places in our search for a top caliber Assisted Living Fac. for my parents. We found that Bristol Heights had everything we needed and wanted in a facility. 1. A superior administrator who has passion about running a great facility. Kim Johnson cares about the residents and she does not use the high pressure sales pitches and tactics that other administrators and facilities use. We appreciated her honesty about what my mother and father truly need. Kim exceeded our expectations on what we want from an administrator. 2. We were there why the cook was preparing the lunch from scratch. It looked and smelled like delicious homemade food. 3. The place was very clean (smelled clean too) and the rooms and facilities were cheery. The views from the rooms were beautiful too. My dad is always cold and the facility was warm like he likes it. They have fire sprinklers through out. 4. They have lots of activities there at the facility and in the community. My dad decided that he wants to live in California because of the colder winters in Idaho, and because of his age the cold weather will not work for him. Kim (being the professional that she is) told my dad that he gets to decide where he lives. My dad was getting pressure from my siblings to move to Coeur d'Alene. Kim pointed several facts for my dad to consider. Kim represents Bristol Heights extremely well and they are fortunate to have her.

We knew his health was declining, with Covid and after major Dementia set in about 2 years later realized we couldn't give Dad the specialized and excellent care he deserved. I was concerned when there was a change in ownership but have been blessed with a staff that is loving, caring and I am so happy that he is receiving the care he needs. They are still changing to make everything even better. Dad loves the food and all the staff and they love him !!!! Can't ask for more ! Thank YOU Bobbi, Debbie and all the rest of the awesome staff!!

If I could give a 10 star rating, I absolutely would. As a former caregiver for many years, I felt right at home when I walked down the steps and into the office to meet the friendly faces of my former employers J and J who looked beyond my conditions and saw complete potential in becoming part of their team of caring and compassionate caregivers. For the first time in a few years, I knew I found the place where I was needed and belonged. Having secure employment there was an extreme boost to my morale along with a generous pay check after going in day in and day out in helping improve the quality of life for the residents in the facility. The smiles of both my colleagues and residents every time I went through the door with my mask for safety, made it all worthwhile to keep going to not just work, but to a place where my skills as a caregiver were put into good use along with improving the quality of life of those who lived there. I would like to take this moment in this post to thank J and J for giving me the opportunity to join their team of hardworking caregivers. Even though I had to resign due to medical reasons, I feel comforted in knowing that my job will still be waiting for me after I take good care of myself first. There are not very many employers out there like J and J that make former employees like me feel reassured that I am a strong individual who just needs some TLC in order to continue giving TLC to those who need me. Maple Wood Assisted Living, you have changed and saved my life in many ways that I can ever repay you. I assure you that I will work very hard to be part of a second family that will always have faith in me to become the best caregiver/CNA I can be.
