Even though I did not buy the equipment from innovative concepts they had no hesitation about hooking up my speakers. Within 30 minutes(probably less) Calvin called and asked questions and his demeanor was calm and reassuring. The Chicago Can't Do is not in the vocabulary with Calvin. He came in and hooked up my speakers and 2 subwoofers and calibrated them. He knows what he's doing. He had to go to Walmart and get a wire for one of the amps. He did so with no complaints. Then we tested the speakers. The sound quality was amazing. Of course watching movies was the main purpose for the new receiver and speakers. I had to try out music. I cued up Love to Love You by Donna Summers. Calvin tweeked my receiver to play stereo when playing music. This was like being in a club with a great sound system. The sound quality was absolutely amazing for an Apple Music song. The price was reasonable. And the service excellent. Calvin recommended getting a 2 channel amp to maximize my systems capabilities. This saved me 1500 dollars because he was praising the virtues of Marantz receivers and I was ready to buy in my next pay check. Then he thought about it and recommended the 2 channel amp even though I had been willing to buy the expensive receiver. This shows that Calvin and his company are trustworthy.

He not only used his knowledge to enumerate the options available to us but really demonstrated a commitment/empathy to our needs which were prioritizing safety, connectivity and then conservatively scaling into A/V options (having just dropped a lot of cash on a down payment). There was no upselling. He built us a min-viable plan while providing cost-tiered options thereafter (for us to both get a sense of trade-offs but also for us to have a sense of what to consider long-term). It felt selfish on my part in that I did not have to do deep research on these different subjects but rather I could pose my "stupid" and numerous questions to Auggie to be met with a quick reply that capably addressed my knowledge gap. He made it easy for us to decide to work with him. Once we aligned on scope, execution came next. On this side of things, there existed the same, relentless commitment to customer satisfaction. Despite having many concurrent projects at the time (also a good signal), they worked hard to set us up quickly after moving into our new home. The installation staff was prompt, diligent and professional in setting up our home but also very affable and patient with respect to walking me through how to understand and utilize our system.
