This is a very cute and quant little cafe! It is small and you can feel that when it is mid morning rush. The service is fast and friendly. Where I leave the star out is the food. Coffee is very good and worth it! The food is small portions even though the pictures look big, they are on the expensive side for the portion you get. I would for sure come back for the drinks! Not the food. The food tasted good and their sauces are fine as well. But for sure coffee is where they are gate keeping! So yummy

So good. These empanadas were perfectly crispy on the outside and packed with flavor inside--every single one was a win and the coffee was smooth and paired perfectly. Staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful with menu recommendations. Great presentation, great flavor, and super satisfying overall. Definitely coming back to try more!
Amazing is right, because everything went well here. I would go here a lot if I lived close enough. Empanadas were perfect - well spiced interior and thin crispy dough on the exterior. Drink flight is a must. All of the sauces are delicious. Staff were all very friendly and efficient. Great experience.

You order, take a number, then they bring it to you. They also are pet friendly. Service was so friendly and good.
First time visiting this cafe after seeing a foodie content creators video and it did not disappoint. I love food and the spinach feta empanada was delectable. The pistachio and tres leche lattes I got were so flavorful and not your normal too sweet latte which I loved. This cafe is so cute, I loved the theme inside and the couches were awesome for the casual diner that me and my 4 month old baby are. Beyond the food and drinks was the absolutely incredible, above and beyond service I was given. I ordered and sat at the couch with my baby and an older woman that worked there came and sat next to me and talked a little to me. When the barista brought my drink order out the woman offered to take my order to my car, she insisted and I was so impressed by their genuine caring nature that I had to share it here. Please find the time to visit this adorable and delicious cafe!
Such a cute spot! The space is small but decorated so beautifully, and the staff are always so kind and helpful. The empanadas are amazing, especially the chicken (jugosa) and mushroom goat cheese (exquisita) with their green sauce. The coffee is the BEST I've ever had, I got the pistachio latte today. A true gem and a family-owned business worth supporting!

Delicious hodgepodge of amazing Brunch victuals!! --Empanadas, PACKed with filling; loved the Spinach and Feta. --Cinnamon roll--easily in the top 2 cinnamon rolls Ive had in Utah; rich, gooey and chew. Yum. Maybe a tad bit too much icing but I devoured mine. --Coffee Flight; the Tres Leches and Matcha ones were delicious! --The Yogurt Parfait was even better than I would have hoped. Its beautiful. Love this place! It has a warm vibe with great music playing gently. There are a few seats inside and outside. Staff is amazing. We had special orders due to food allergies and they were able to accommodate them, even asking clarifying questions to make sure there was no cross contamination. Coffee was soooo good! I had the mocha with oat milk (they have milk alternatives) and it was so smooth with the coffee being the main character. The chocolate flavor was there but was in the background, as it should be. We ordered seven different drinks and everyone was happy with their drink. We were all over the coffee menu with our drinks and each one was delicious. We'll be back! It's a must! read more

I was visiting in town looking for local coffee places. This is exactly what completed my search. Smooth, light, coffee with amazing real flavors. We ordered hot and iced pistachio lattes lightly sweetened and ordered beef and goat cheese with mushrooms empanadas on the side. Probably the best empanadas and pistachio lattes I have had. Not to mention, the service was so nice! Very friendly, respectful, and accommodating. Service was quick. It is very cute inside although my order was for to go. Cute cups!! read more
I was sitting on my couch early this morning scrolling Instagram when I saw a reel (yes, I know I'm behind the times, but I'm not on Tik Tok) of an adorable coffee shop that had flights of coffee. The presentation was so attractive that I bounced up of the couch, enthusiastically woke up my better half and headed to Pleasant Grove. A thirty minute drive at 8am on a weekend? WORTH IT! This little shop is on a cute street that I didn't know existed. Lots of old shops that appear to be under revitalization. Plenty of street parking and a good amount of seating, although it got crowded as the morning went on. The word is getting out about Guayoyo Cafe, so don't sleep on it. We opted for the Christmas themed flight and it was the RIGHT choice! Not only was the coffee delicious, but it was oh-so-cute! I didn't want to dive into it right away, I wanted to admire the work of art that was the Rudolph, Grinch, Frosty and Santa Claus coffee. We also ordered a couple of savory empanadas which offset the sweet of the coffee and they were incredible. The staff was so welcoming and kind. It's obvious that they've put their heart and soul into this cafe and I'm glad to see it doing well. read more

This is my fav coffee/cafe in Utah county! Everything from their empanadas to their signature drinks is delicious! The shop is also really cute inside and on warmer days you can sit outside cause it can get crowded fast! But someone always assists you as soon as you walk in! read more
What a beautiful retreat in cute downtown pleasant grove! The decorations are inviting and the space is perfect for a girls brunch together or just grabbing something to go. I got the banana matcha, cinnamon roll, and an empanada. They were all delicious but the item that stood out the most was the banana matcha and the empanada. Both so delicious, and worth the visit! I went to a little thrift shop close by, they recognized the cup from guyoyo and said it had the best coffee in Utah county! Beautiful little space! read more

I had seen Guayoyo Café on social media and it looked amazing so I had high hopes. It was everything I expected and more! The inside is bright an airy with a beautiful mural and fusion hispter coffee shop/hispanic vibes. We went for Mother's Day and it was very busy, but the girl at the front was so welcoming and took the time to explain their menu and available options that day. We got a flight of drinks, which is the way to go if you are like me and struggle to pick one thing. They come in a wooden flight with cute little cookies which my daughter loved, and they were all yummy (my favorite was the horchata latte). We also got three empanadas to split, and we had different favorites but they were all good. I loved our visit and will definitely be back! read more
Cute little cafe in PG. They have a couple of flight options and I'm never one to pass up a flight. I'm a matcha lover and had to get that flight. The coconut was my favorite and the banana cream was so good. They also have empanadas and I had to get some, the original and a recommendation from one of the baristas was the chicken. You get sauce options to accompany them. The chicken was so flavorful. Definitely recommend visiting. We went on a Saturday morning after hiking Stewart Falls, it was packed but they're pretty quick with your order. Super friendly staff. They had some problems with the espresso machine that backed up their orders and kept apologizing for it, and comped my cousin some pastries for the delay. read more
The coffee flights. The only place around salt lake that I've seen have coffee flights on their menu. I'm from the east coast, where coffee flights are getting popular, and coming here satisfied a part of me missing home. They staff were gracious enough to let me swap out a chai for something else, and you get a cookie with each coffee! The coffee shop is located in a cute historic part of town with the mountains in the background. There's a wonderful natural skin care shop and an award winning cupcake place next door, where my friend and I did some shopping! The ambiance to the cafe was lovely! It's family run and small, their empanadas are fantastic (the beef was so good) and they also have sweet pastries on the menu. The coffee flight was the main event for me. The coffee was delicious, albeit a bit too sweet, and the portions were generous for the $16 before tax I paid for the flight. I would highly recommend coming here! read more

This is my third time here. It is a cute charming little coffee shop. They have a variety of items. Food, bakery, coffee, tea. What makes this place great besides the delicious food is the customer service. They are so nice here. That is why I have kept coming back. Definitely recommend! read more

I wish I could come here everyday! The young ladies that took our order were super sweet. The coffee is great! Not overly sugary and pleasant tasting espresso. All other empanadas I've had do not even compare to these. We Thankful we found this cute place. If we are ever in Utah again it will be a must stop for us. read more

This cafe is soooo cute! I love the decor inside and outside of the cafe. The baristas are super helpful right off the bat and greet everyone with a bright smile. Food and drinks wise everything was a hit. We tried their empanadas (chicken, pulled pork, spinach and feta), pulled pork sandwich, and had their tea and coffee flight. The chicken was a little dry but nothing their amazing sauces couldn't fix! Flavor wise all the dishes were tasty. They were super nice and allowed me to change the matcha drink in the flight to a different one too! The drinks were not only cute but also perfectly sweet for each one! Plus they give you a little cookie with each drink. Come give them a visit! I will be coming back the next time I am in Utah! read more

The food was awesome. I ordered takeout because as many others I have seen them on social media. The shop is so cute and had a really welcoming feeling to it. I got the refresher rose, la delicada, and la exquisite and my my was it exquisite. The drink was really joy at first sip. The la delicada was good but not my favorite flavor despite being a combo of my favorite flavors. I think it was maybe a but muted or I didnt pair it with the correct sauce (guayoyo sauce). The la exquisita though with the smoked garlic sauce blew me away. I honestly at it so fast it was gone before I realized it. For the refresher, I have a slight allergy to red 40 and forget about it so I had to call the west jordan location to ask if they use red dye or strawberries and they told me its strawberries for anyone else out there struggling with an allergy to color. Why did I call west jordan? Because the pg locations phone went straight to voicemail and I forgot to be an adult and ask in person. Anyway, delicious food and I definitely want goto go back and try one of their drink flights. read more

Was greeted warmly upon arrival by the owner, Ana! Super cute coffee and empanadas shop nestled on Main Street of PG. Decor is warm, quaint, and welcoming. This a Latin fusion of coffee/matcha drinks , paired really well with Argentinian inspired empanadas which come with a variety of different fillings. They also sell locally made alfajores (Peruvian dulce de leche cookies ) that I'm eager to relish. Tried their iced Caramel Macchiato which was pretty tasty! But their Dulce De Leche Latte (one of their signature drinks) was fire ‼ A MUST stop in PG. read more

Came for the coffee flights, stayed for it all. Saw people hyping this place up on Instagram and had to see what it was all about. The restaurant is in a pretty quiet part of Pleasant Grove, making parking pretty easy. There's an eye-catching mural right that you can't miss and some tables outside for outdoor eating. The place itself is tiny inside--one of its few downsides. If you come, you could potentially be in for a really long wait if you don't just order to go. But they make great use of such a small space (and it's well decorated). It took probably 30 minutes to get our food and we didn't get cookies with our coffee flight and I'm not sure why (maybe because we ordered other food too?)--but that aside, the coffee flights were creamy, sweet, and had so much flavor. They're pretty filling too, so they're great for sharing. We also really enjoyed the caprese sandwich and picana sandwich. Didn't try the empanadas this time around, but heard they're definitely not to be missed. All in all, great place. read more

Saw this place on insta for their coffee flights and I never wanted to go somewhere so bad!! I got to go on a perfect Saturday evening but it was SO packed! Their business was so great, they have self ordering at the front so the workers can get your drinks and food out faster. Cute outdoor seating that I loved and the food came right out to us! The workers were so sweet and the coffee was delicious. I got the bbq sandwich and it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had (that means a lot), my friends got the empanadas. I was not able to get the flight this time since the wait for them is around 1 hour when they're busy but GO THEM! The place is so cute and nothing bad to say. I will be back. read more

We stumbled upon this place on vacation and so glad we did. They have fantastic coffees and the empanadas are ridiculously good. The mushroom and goat cheese empanada is a must try item, 10/10, highly recommend. read more
