Staff are all friendly, caring & I felt they really heard me. I was recommended by an acquaintance who sang Dr Gucciardo & staffs' praises. Yes they told me that in order to really help me I needed X-rays and other tests. Those aren't covered by insurance. They told me that up front. No bill surprise. That was important to me. I was & had been in terrible sciatica pain on both sides for so long that day to day life was overshadowed by the pain. Dr Gucciardo very kindly understood & from a quick look at my X-rays & seeing my misery had the technician give me a treatment. I am so grateful for that extra bit of consideration. I actually drive 45 minutes home without excruciating pain. I slept relatively comfortable without OTC pain medication in weeks. My pain went from 9 to a 6. I'm still in pain but it's liveable. I didn't take any Aleve this morning. I'm pretty skeptical about things but Dr Gucciardo is extremely talented and gifted, after just one visit I couldn't believe how much better I felt. From the intake process to the analysis to the treatment everyone who works in this office is very special in a sense that you feel like you've known them for years. Very sweet and kind people working with Dr Gucciardo. For anyone looking for a professional who knows what they are doing this is the only place you need to visit. No part of the treatment is ever rushed or unnecessary, from start to finish you're given attention to your concern and problem areas, nutrition, vitamins and how to live a healthier better pain free life. I have to write because of the EXCELLENT compassionate service I received from Dr Rob and his wonderful staff. They are very professional, kind and efficient. They really care about you. I have been a patient of Dr Rob's for both chiropractic and nutrition. He is an excellent chiropractor, who has made major corrections in my spine and therefore skeletal posture as well. So within weeks I found a great change in the level of pain. And the adjustments are finally holding. It was exciting to see that progress in the X-rays. I've had back pain for 40 years and the progress I've made in a short time Is amazing. I really didn't expect to see that much change because of the time I've had these injuries and now have degenerative discs. Dr. Rob's dedication to his patients and their health is clear. He helped me a great deal nutritionally when I wasn't able to eat anything without digestive pain. The testing is clear and he provides a concise program of supplements and dietary changes that works if you follow it. It was refreshing to know he's done the research weeding out the false bogus mainstream info. He's so educated and has given me solutions that work. The suggestions are realistic. I learned what I was doing wrong that made me feel ill and how I can make changes that work for me. My progress is always positive and I can't say enough positive things. Their office is practicing safe distancing and their scheduling no is good, I've never had to wait long. Parking is on the street but I've always been able to find a close spot. If you want an adjustment or treatment, go elsewhere. I called to make an appointment, as i was in pain. Asked if they took my insurance, they said they would discuss it when i arrived... I should have known then and there. They took me in and told me I would need several test. Which I subjected myself, excited that I would receive an adjustment. 275$ later.... Wrong. They asked me to come back for a follow up. Which I did, thinking AGAIN I would receive treatment. Wrong again. I sat down with the Doctor who explained to me the amount of long term treatment I would need and that it would cost 5000$. Pay up or get out, essentially. Never received an adjustment. I can appreciate the attention to detail, but the culture of the practice could have all been discussed in my initial phone call when I asked if I could come in for an adjustment. If you don't have an extra 5000$ and just want an adjustment, save your time and money and go to New York Pain and Spine in Lindenwood. I'm giving 2 stars only because everyone in the office was very nice and I'm hoping its not part of the scam. read more
