Amazing! The stone work is perfect and the landscaping design is incredible. Nobody does it better.

I had used MEC a few years ago and was very happy with their work. This past summer I hired them…read moreagain and it has been a royal pain in the neck. We are still arguing about scope of work that was done, the landscape "designer" was difficult to work with - suggesting tired, overused species of plants you can find at Home Depot and first suggested I use a weed like ground cover to cover a massive bed. Luckily I knew what I wanted. The final straw was watching the crew trampl on our newly renovated beds with their wheelbarrows, laying down mulch in the pouring rain. Really?? Gardening 101: NEVER work on wet soil. I had to go out and tell his crew to come back when it dried out. Either they dont know you never work wet soil (which means they're incompetent) or they just didn't care. Update: Spoke directly with owner and got issues resolved.

I recently bought several yards of "lawn-ready" soil to establish a lawn. The service was great…read morefrom purchase through delivery, and the soil looked good when it arrived. As I spread the soil, I removed as many twigs as I could, but I didn't realize many of them were actually roots from invasive plants. As the grass is starting to sprout, so are many bindweed and common mugwort plants. I'm trying to remove the entire root system as the weeds sprout, but many roots are buried deep in the soil and remain behind. At this point, I may have to destroy much of the new lawn to fully eliminate these invasive weeds. Very disappointing, and now I'm concerned this could turn into a long-term project. I'm not sure what Madison Earth Care could have done to prevent this, but it's something to be aware of if you plan to use this soil in your yard.
