The turnup spots are clearly still in effect because The Guest House was precisely that. The Guest House doesn't have many bells and whistles, but they make up for it with tasty food, great music, customer service, and fantastic bottomless brunch drinks. At this point, let me take a moment to give anyone planning to go for brunch. I recommend that you pace yourself because, as you can see from the size of the bottles, it's for the best. Enjoy.

3.5 very small place, tight seating and typical Williamsburg prices. Food was average. Drink (espresso martini) was made watery and weak. I usually order a shot if my drink is too weak but this was so bad we had to ask them to make it again. Ultimately got a 7 out of 10 espresso martini. Rum punch was an 8. The only saving grace was an excellent, vibrant, and attentive server and a good DJ.

Came for NYE! Vibes were great. The DJ didn't miss a beat. Cocktails were very good. I already had dinner before I came, but I did have the cornbread and very much enjoyed it with the hot honey! My server NICKY was awesome! He was taking care of all of the tables inside of the restaurant and didn't break a sweat. He remained friendly throughout the entire night! Which is applaudable considering the restaurant was pretty full. Nicky was quite the angel. He offered to walk me to my uber, as a solo diner! And assured me that any of the other team members would also be willing. I can't say enough nice things about NICKY and I when I'm back in Brooklyn, I'll return especially for him! Thank you for just being a hospitable and friendly human being.

I came here for an after work event. And I'm not sure if I'll be back. It's a really cute place, quaint, modern, lovely decor. But everything else is definitely not my taste. From the miniscule, flavorless (yes i paid $1 extra for the lemon pepper sprinkle) overcooked wings to the overpriced, drinks in the plastic clear cups you see for wine at family get togethers. There was even an odd snafu with the music. I'll let some of the kinks work out before returning.

Went for Happy Hour Thursday and free hookah it was really nice. The bartender Cas was busy but still attentive and smiled . The music was definitely a vibe and not too loud. The shrimp cocktail for $10 was great colossal shrimp with cocktail sauce was great. But let's talk about the lemon drops I had 3 strawberry lemon drops and one mango passion. Cas definitely knew how make drinks , I appreciate that . The waitress D with her sexy self lol was super sweet and also attentive. I will definitely come back with my girls the distance is far but definitely worth trip

Guesthouse is a new restaurant & bar located in Williamsburg Brooklyn. Initially coming here I thought this would be a place where music is playing & some people doing a 2 step, but this is more so an intimate setting kind of feel. They have music playing, but it's low & the they have dim lights. My cousin & I came out just for some drinks & appetizers so we ordered the mussels which were really good, fresh & a nice portion. We also tried the lollipop lamp chops which were also very tasty. For our drink, we tried the "mister softee" & that was also potent but smooth. There is a bar in the front of the restaurants & the seating area can seat maybe 20-25 (rough estimate) people. Our waiter was polite & professional which I always appreciate good customer service because most times it can be challenging. The only thing I would wanna provide constructive criticism on is, gratuity is automatically added just for dining & I don't agree with that. Gratuity should be for parties of four or more, but not for a party of two. There was a wait for our drinks & when we came in we noticed the other 4 tables had no food on their table, which the likelihood of all of them just coming in right before us is too ironic, so there might be a delay with getting entrees. For our food, it came out in a decent time frame. If you're looking for some good food along with good customer service, check out Guesthouse!

Came for a Pulsd Brunch with my brother, and let me tell you, this Williamsburg gem is so easy to miss you might drive by it if you're not paying attention. The inside is semi-cute--flower wall and tree in the back are doing all the heavy lifting, while the front screams "blah." It's cozy and intimate, which might be code for "smaller than expected." So, let's talk service. We waited a solid 25 minutes for our food, but since we were busy getting tipsy on bottomless drinks, it was no biggie. I splurged and got the Lamb Chops and eggs, which were a solid 2.5/5. The lamb needed a sauce--any sauce--so it didn't feel like I was chewing on a hunk of disappointment. The eggs could've used some fruit or literally anything other than blandness. My brother went for the Chicken & Waffles, and, oh boy, the chicken was a seasoning disaster. He was too polite to complain, but the waffles were his only salvation. Now, let's get to the real MVPs--the drinks. They offer Mimosa, Sangria, and Bellini (Peach, Mango, Strawberry, and Passion Fruit). The drinks come in their own personal champagne bottle for Mimosa and Sangria, while the Bellinis get the long-stemmed wine glass treatment. I had one glass of Peach Bellini and one Mango Mimosa and, trust me, I was living my best tipsy life. Would I go back? Absolutely. Mainly for the drinks and the vibe. The food might be forgettable, but those drinks are unforgettable.

Sunday Funday 08/04 I honestly already knew what to expect because of their social media presence but my friend wanted to go and give them a try, sigh. We walk in, music is so loud (but the dj was the best part) wait to be greeted and seated. The bartender looks over at us and goes to a table and then calls us over to go sit. We sit down and the dj is like free shots for everyone, and I'm like oh wow how nice. The bartender walks around to give out shots and just completely skips us and I'm like dang. This place isn't big to begin with and she's the one who sat us so how she forget about us like that. $60 (tax & tip included) for 90 minutes of unlimited mimosas, Bellinis, and sangrias (but they didn't have sangrias) and a choice of an entree. Additional money for specific entrees though. For drinks you are given a whole bottle of Andre, which makes sense because those bottles are inexpensive. Drinks 7/10 As for food....My friend ordered chicken and waffles, I ordered steak & eggs with a side of home fries. I asked for my steak well done and no cheese on my eggs. Our food took forever to come out and it was weird because the people who came in after us maybe like 30 minutes after us got their food before us. Finally when the food came it wasn't even hot. My steak had some pink in it and my eggs had cheese on them when I specifically asked for a well done steak and no cheese on my eggs. So I had to wait even longer for them to correct my food. My steak had some flavor, eggs were cold and bland, and my home fries were cold and had decent flavor. Food 1/10 Our server sucked and I can't remember his name but he had a neck tattoo. There were multiple times we had to get his attention for various things and then remind him about the drinks we ordered. I was upset because they were literally pulling bottles out of boxes so the fact that it was taking so long to bring our drinks when I'm staring at the bottles on the floor right next to and behind the dj is beyond me. He also had a female sitting at the bar who had most of his attention and it was only annoying because he did a bad job checking in on us and simply just doing his job. But when we asked for the check, he gave us the check in less than 60 seconds, just ridiculous. Service 1/10 The bartender was then slightly arguing with customers and I heard her say "well I have paying customers" and glanced over at my friend and I. The bartender then came over and gave us free shots. Welp we finally got our free shots lol The dj was the only good thing about my experience here. He played a variety of music and was engaging with the customers, the only thing was that the music was super loud. Music 9/10 My expectations were correct, hole in a wall place with floral decor to try to attract people on social media just to have a bad experience. Please do better because there's potential. Overall 1/10

Came here to say for brunch with a friend. Was the first reservation of the day. Was greeted right away by the bartender and seated. Menu was electronic so easy to view. Waiter came over promptly to get our orders and checked on us throughout. Really sweet guy and was attentive. Food was ok, the presentation I would say was lacking and the portion size was small in my opinion. I think they could a better job at the chicken and waffle. The drinks and the music were good, the vibes were right. I would come here again maybe for some drinks at the bar and small bites.

Didn't seem too packed - maybe this is a newer restaurant but it did seem a bit chaotic at first when I came in in terms of staff and how they were acting. The Malibu express was pretty tasty in terms of drinks. The pasta was also fine, I do think the flavors were good but wish the shrimp were de-tailed and/or cut up but flavorful regardless. I think the fried chicken was where it kind of fell short as I don't think the dish itself was super warm, either the cornbread not being super tasteful and soft and also spicy a small plate for the cost of the dish ($26). Nicky, who was our server, was very attentive and did a great job with helping us at the table.

This place was very disappointingly bad. From the moment I walked in I wasn't sure what I was in for. Went to have brunch with one of my girls so we decided on here because we saw content that looked enticing but unfortunately it did not match what was shown online. We say the bar cause there were no tables available which was fine. The bartender behind the bar was literally dressed like she rolled out of bed which I thought was very distasteful and unprofessional, and she wasn't welcoming either. The music was good I must say but was way too loud the server could barely hear our orders act I could barely hear myself think. I did the lamb chops and eggs the brunch menu was very limited. They didn't allow us to order from the regular menu cater it was brunch hours but the gentleman next to me was able to, very confusing. The food took a long while to come out and what I got slapped on a plate was so disappointing cold eggs overcooked no cheese and it was stated on the menu and lamb chops weren't good. There was an up charge for the lamb chops just for them to be horrible. My friend ordered the chicken and waffles her waffles were burnt and the 2 chicken strips were stale and mainly breading no chicken. She asked the owner if she could get better waffles and he changed them but they still tasted bad. All of their brunch drinks are served in the bottle of Andre's with a straw, I alluded for a glass because the bottle was just too much. Overall I think this place needs some work in the customer service are and presentation and a new chef. 70 bucks down the drain.

My veggies taste straight outta the freezer yall. The coco bread has been air fried to perfection. The calamari is perfectly rubbery like the wheel of a car. The water was sourced from the finest tap with ice cubes shipped from the Bronx. Overall, took an hour and a half to get everything after ordering. We calling chef Ramsey!!!!
