We played around with the ideas of rose petal holders and a huge bow for our reserved seats during the ceremony, and she custom made them for me!! A huge perk as well is that she has a diverse inventory of decor that added the cherry on top to the ambiance of our venue. The dedication and passion she has towards her work is inspiring. At the end of the day, she cares how you feel about every decision you're making which made it easy for us to trust that everything would turn out beautiful. I actually had to stop her from reprinting dinner menus because she didn't like the quality of the paper it was printed on. She will be bridezilla on your behalf so you don't have to be! The speed Ashley worked at to get everything in order was amazing!! Because of Ashley's connections I got an amazing deal on my rentals (tables, linens, charger plates). She managed all the contracts, rentals, timeline, guest list, COVID regulations, all vendors, all the last minute disasters (and there were plenty). Due to COVID Delta Variant my guest list was decreasing by the day. Ashley adjusted my rentals, seating chart along with per person cost on a daily basis. My hair stylist cancelled on me the night before, the menu printing was delayed due to a storm the night before, the cake was delayed. A bride's worst nightmare!! Ashley worked all night.. to get me newly printed menus, stood outside a salon to get hair extensions, called around cake places to get a new quote under my budget ...and then somehow this crazy woman managed to stay until 3am the night of my wedding to sure everything was in order and my vendors cleaned out. Trust me when I say this the number of things that will go wrong no matter how much you plan is crazy...this is where a wedding planner is a life saver. Not just any wedding planner but a one that is willing to go the extra mile! I had spoken to wedding planners who charge by the hour. Trust me when I say this please hire someone who is willing to work around the clock and a personality you get along with! She was also so sweet and helped me out with an event I was having prior to my wedding which was not included in our contract. When I say this woman goes above and beyond I meant it. Janet was incredible before and at our wedding. Not only did a friend of ours who is also getting…read moremarried soon ask us for her info while we were still at the wedding, but even the bridal attendant at our venue said that Janet was wonderful, which was especially meaningful to us since she also told us that often the day-of coordinator and bridal attendant end up stepping on each other's toes a bit, which was not at all the case here. She kept everything and everybody on track, and there wasn't even the slightest hiccup of any kind throughout the entire day. Our parents initially weren't entirely on board with the idea of a day-of coordinator, but relented after the day went so smoothly. We were all able to fully enjoy the wedding, and be guests at our own party!

From our first interactions with Bob, the owner, we knew we wanted to work together and valued his personability and flexibility to align with our vision and expectations. Bob was easy to communicate with and answered all of our questions promptly. We booked the Metropolis band, and we were blown away. Metropolis consists of some of the most talented musicians and masters at their craft. - they are rockstars and threw us the party of a lifetime! During the reception, the band kept everyone on their feet all night! Every member of Metropolis has incredible talent. They performed every song, including our requested songs with energy and passion. We loved that they interacted with the crowd and they truly seemed like they were enjoying every minute of it. We loved their plan for the flow of the evening, which maximized the time on the dance floor - we've attended other weddings where this was not the case, and it was very noticeable! So many of our guests raved about how good the band was, and have asked for their information to recommend them for future weddings - everyone enjoyed themselves so much and all of our guests were out on the dance floor all night. Our guests were raving about the band for days after our wedding and we definitely recommend them to anyone. We truly did not want the night to end, just so we could continue dancing and partying with Metropolis. Between planning my own wedding and the dozen or so I go to each year I definitely know weddings…read more Katherine Heigel in 27 dresses has nothing on me...:) If there's 1 thing you're going to spend money on it should be the band...a good band makes all the difference. And a bad band can make things go sour pretty quickly as well. Fortunately for the wedding I attended this weekend, Scott Yanney Band (which apparently is one of the featured bands of Faze 4 entertainment) is one of the good ones. They had everyone on the dance floor within seconds (then again, they had a fun crowd to work with- my new family!) and we didn't stop shaking our booties all night long. I've got the blisters on my feet to prove it!
