They advertised on sale a whole beef rump roast. I purchased one it was labeled as a rump roast…read more When I got home and started cutting up, I then found out it was a whole bottom round (a cheaper roast instead of a rump roast. I contacted them on their web site and was told it was labeled correctly and that a rump roast comes from a bottom round. I did research and the bottom round is the bottom section of the rear hip and the rump is on top of the bottom round and is more tender. It is the top section of the hip separate from the bottom round. I went to Conseco's and they had the same exact roast on sale, but their label reads bottom round. Breau Mart's reply told me if I needed more info to reply and provide my phone number and they would get back to me. I replied plus sent the 4 different request and after a week I still have not received a reply. I am very disappointed with them and was sold a bottom round labeled and advertised as a rump. They have very poor customer service.

I had previously asked if I could leave my basket near the register while I drove home to retrieve it, and an associate kindly said I could leave it there for about 20 minutes -- the time it would take for me to return home and back. As I walked back to my car, I checked for any cash and found only $10. When I returned to the store, I let the associate know that I would put back some of the frozen and cold items and would leave and come back later to complete my purchase. I recently moved to New Orleans and usually keep a credit card in my car specifically for Walmart trips, but not this time. That's when Floor Manager, Erin, stepped in... she overheard the conversation and said, "wait...we can figure this out so you don't have to leave and come back." I was both surprised and incredibly grateful. Erin asked if I knew my card number, and when I said yes, she guided me through downloading the Walmart app step-by-step -- all while multitasking and assisting other associates with their questions and assigning employees to registers for employee breaks. We encountered an error with the app, but instead of giving up, Erin continued troubleshooting with me. She asked smart, specific questions, and eventually identified the problem: my credit card still had my old address. Once we updated it to reflect my new New Orleans address, everything worked perfectly. Erin even took me to a separate register to test the card with a small transaction -- and it was successful! I returned to a regular register to complete my full grocery purchase, but I won't forget Erin's kindness and professionalism. Please know that you have a permanent customer in me, and I'll always be looking for Erin to say a quick "hi" during my visits. As a retired executive, I can confidently say that Erin's dedication, patience, and problem-solving attitude were nothing short of outstanding. Her willingness to go above and beyond left a lasting impression on me. Bottom line: Erin is a fantastic employee, and you are lucky to have her on your team.
