They had absolutely nothing really worth playing or looking at, but I drove over there, so i let the owner (or whoever was running the shop that day) plug me Into a vintage Pencrest amp with some crappy knock off Fender. Unfortunately for me, they had Dark Side of the Moon playing in the store - an album I obviously know very well. the Pencrest amp had a really nice old analog vintage vibrato setting which actually sounded pretty spectacular for Dark Side. I played along for a while and purchased the amp.... low and behold, it lasted approximately 3 days until it inevitably crapped out on me. Totally my own fault But a lesson to be learned for me as a 25 year old buying used gear "as is"
