Steve has done pickup replacements and full setups for me on several of my electric and acoustic guitars (Gibson LP, Eastman SB59, G&L ASAT Classic 'S', and an Eastman E10-00-SS). His work has been exceptional and done with great care and respect. He's very easy to work with, has a great sense of humor, and though busy, always seems to get jobs done within a reasonable time. Most recently, I brought in my Eastman acoustic to get the (very tall) bone saddle and action lowered. I brought in my Taylor 514CE (which Gryphon Guitars in Palo Alto had worked on to dial in its action), for Steve to see and play, and serve as an example of the setup I wanted for the Eastman. Not only did Steve match the action on my Taylor, but the Eastman turned out even easier to play! Great work. Needless to say, I've definitely found my go-to guitar shop here.

Miguel repaired my TV…read more The TV is a non-smart TV for an elderly person that needs simple, easy to operate tv. These are difficult to find now. The screen went black but you could see the picture if you shined a bright light on it and you could hear the audio. The LED backlighting failed. I took it in, Miguel in the back of the store ordered the replacement LEDs and repaired the TV. Took about 2 1/2 weeks. 40" screen TV repair was $120.00. It's more if the TV is larger however. Very pleased! Thank you Miguel!

Went in to set up an appointment to install a system. A guy went to see what I wanted installed and…read moregave me a quote. I was told that they were busy working on government vehicles so I would need to wait at least a week. When asked what day I wanted to set up the appointment, I had to think about it because I had a day in mind that didn't work with his schedule. When I had to think about it, he got really annoyed. That was enough for me to walk out, which was fine because I walked into a better place that was able to tend to me the same day. And their quote was also cheaper than what this place quoted me.

Took a vintage Marantz Receiver to Chiwees Audio Repair as both channels were intermittently…read morecutting out and distorting regardless of input selection. Unit was serviced but no parts were replaced. The issue was not solved. Within a week of getting it back- the drop out and distortion was worse then ever. In addition, When I dropped it off the signal strength lens and window was clear and now its blurry as if it got scratched or fogged up. In addition, the FM/Am display now has a light out in the middle of the display even though it all seemed to be properly illuminated when I dropped it off. Panel lights were replaced but now the center of the display is dark. I was charged $160 but my main issue was not fixed. Disappointed.

My daughters are enjoying classes with Brendan and Michael. Both teachers are very patient as they guide the girls through their first exposure to musical instruments.
