I would give them zero stars if that was possible. Because, I've had zero luck getting a prescription refill. Several phone calls and messages on the office portal to make it happen. When there's an issue with the prescription, they were contacted by Express Scripts about the issue, they don't follow up and Express Scripts cancelled the order. I left another message on their portal and three voice mail messages for the nurse to submit another prescription. No calls back, the prescription wasn't ordered and I'm out of the prescription altogether. It's by far the worst service from any medical provider that I've experienced. I'm done. read more

Such a disappointing experience. I had originally met with Dr. Chung (who is lovely) after being in the ER for Kidney stones. I had a shockwave lithotripsy performed by Dr. Sajadi on September 13th. They asked for me to make a follow up appointment and they did not have any availability until October 19th. They told me to strain my urine and bring by the stones I had passed. I brought them to the office on October 6th. I was not given any further instructions before my appointment today (19th). My appointment today was for 4:30pm. I arrived at 4:15pm to check in. I sat in the waiting room until 5pm before being brought into a observation room. Once back there I waited another 10 minutes and still saw no one. I opened the door and found the receptionist and told her my appointment was for 40 minutes before and I was still waiting. She seemed confused and said she would find Dr. Sajadi. I saw him on the phone in his office. I proceeded to wait an additional 10 minutes before Dr. Sajadi came into the room. He came in and spoke to me for 2 minutes. He said he thought I was being seen by a different doctor. He asked if I had passed stones; I told him yes and I had brought them into the office two weeks prior. He asked if I was in pain; I told him no. He then said I would need to get an X-ray to see if the stones were still present. I expressed my frustration for waiting for 50 minutes before being seen just told me told that I needed to get an X-ray. I felt that if I needed an X-ray they should have written me an order weeks ago so I could have had it done and they would have had it ready for my appointment. Dr. Sajadi sent me over to the hospital to get the X-ray and said he would look at it tonight and if I hadn't heard anything from him by 8pm then to call and have them page him. When I was checking out with the receptionist she then told me I had a $20 copay. I was livid! I asked her how I could possibly be charged a copay for waiting in the waiting room for 50 minutes and being spoken to for 2 minutes. The other receptionist at the desk chimed in with "Anytime you see a doctor you have to pay a copay!" I paid the fee and told them I would not be returning. Fast forward to 8pm. That came and went without a call so I called them. They said Dr. Chung was on call, that they would page him, and if I hadn't heard back in 30 minutes to call back. The additional 30 minutes came and went without a call so I called back. They said they would page again and if I hadn't heard back in another 30 minutes to call back. 8:55pm came and I received a call from Dr. Sanjadi saying he was on his way home And he would give me a call when he got there and got a chance to look at the scans. He also told me that the receptionist was wrong to charge me a copay for a post-op visit and that I would be reimbursed. I let him know that I appreciated that. At 9pm Dr. Chung called and reviewed the scans with me. Overall, I was happy with my procedure and my treatment through it but today has truly been a nightmare of frustration. I would not recommend someone to go to this establishment based on the lack of customer service/professional. read more

Where to start.... 1) They moved locations in between my consultation and my surgery without notifying me.... I found out as my wife dropped me off and saw a note on the door. I had to run to catch her before she drove away 2) When i arrived at the new location, I found out that they were not prepared for the surgery and forgot to call me to cancel... the operating room didn't even have a door yet. 3) The operation went well, I was very happy with Dr. Ali Sajadi 4) I had to submit samples to confirm the sugary success. The support staff "lost" one of the samples (maybe I have kids somewhere...) 5) Two months after being told that the sugary was a success, I received a mysterious voice message that I needed to submit another sample. 6) Reaching someone by phone is nearly impossible and they are inconsistent on returning calls. 7) I asked to speak with Dr. Sajadi before writing this, but he declined to call me back (my guess is that the support team, didn't get him the message) Overall, Dr. Sajadi is wonderful, but the support staff is SO incompetent, you MUST avoid this business. read more

Used to be a very good office, however a new front office team and the addition of two doctors, have plunged the office into total confusion. They DON'T answer the phone, voicemail comes on all day long, NO ONE responds if you leave a message! Took me TWO weeks of calling, leaving voicemails, and messaging on the patient portal to get a prescription renewed! The only reason I got through finally was due to calling the doctors regional medical group customer service line! After switching from a very unconcerned doctor, with the RUDEST office staff ever, I found this office two years ago and was very pleased. Only to fast forward to November 2017, and have the doctor I left join the group, along with the rude, indifferent, chaotic front office staff! I will be moving on!!! read more

Dr. Moreno is the most positive and upbeat doctor I have had the pleasure of working with. She's fabulous and cares about her patients. Let me start the real review by saying, I know I'm a complicated patient and I ask a lot of questions. I'm also a current cancer patient who has been having horrid UTI symptoms - thus why I came here. Tests completed: X-Ray, Ultrasound About 2 weeks ago I called into the office to ask Dr. Moreno about test results to check on my test results (as the symptoms were still very present and even worsening). VERY unfortunately, she was not in that day SO I dealt with a nurse and Dr. Guleria interpreted my results. They called back and stated that my reports showed nothing of suspicion and if I was in pain to go the ER. They also offered me more testing (CT scan). My thought was eh.. not going for testing if you are telling me we are all good. A few days later I get results in the mail of a cyst growing on my kidney that "may contain calcification" - exactly what a cancer patient does NOT want to hear. I called today to get more clarification and spoke with the same nurse that called to tell me I was fine. I did not appreciate the way she spoke to me as she told me, "Well we did recommend you to have this test done but you told us no." I was being blamed for turning down a test after you told me I was fine? Call me crazy, but I find this, COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. I kept my cool and gave them the benefit of doubt and assumed they didn't have this report I was looking at when I initially inquired about the results... Until about the time she confirmed they had this particular test showing the mass. Bonus: they were able to get me an appointment for next week to see my favorite doctor - Dr. Moreno (and truly no sarcasm she's amazing). At first I took it, but then called another doctor on my treatment team AND GUESS WHAT! - they interpreted the results over phone for me WITHOUT being charged for an office visit. They also gave me a reference for another Urologist in the INOVA system. Also important to note - after looking at my echart - my presenting symptoms were listed INCORRECTLY (they wrote that I had symptoms that I've never had in my life) AND there was no mention of the fact I have CANCER in my chart. Maybe this is part of the reason why no one thought twice about notifying me that I have cyst growing on my kidney. I lost my trust in this practice. Even if this turns out to be nothing, I paid for my testing and they got paid for my testing, therefore, I am entitled to my TRUE results (thank God I went to an INOVA branch for testing and they mail you copies). The ONLY reason this practice got 2 stars is because of my wonderful and kind experience with Dr. Moreno. I would go see her again in a heartbeat if she weren't associated with this practice. read more

Surgery: CT indicated a need for a procedure to remove a kidney stone. I feel like the practice did not provide enough info so I was aware of the risks and complications of the procedure and rushed the scheduling. I know I needed the procedure but they didn't even tell me what the name of the procedure was when it was scheduled or provide any literature on the surgery itself. I've had surgeries before and I know you need to check the outpatient surgery facility is in network with your insurance and I just don't feel they gave adequate info to prep me for the surgery. I wouldn't have proceeded if not for the fact that the other closest in-network provider was over an hour away so I was kind of just stuck. I feel like they weren't very proactive when insurance issues came up and I ended up doing a lot of extra legwork on my own but I feel like that was half on my insurance for not providing accurate information and half on this provider and the surgery center for not providing additional options early enough when I had called to confirm insurance benefits a month before the surgery date with all 3 parties (urologist, surgery center, insurance). 2/5 stars Post-Op: Communication has definitely been an issue post-op. Had to wait over 2 hours to see the doctor on the post-op appointment and they almost forgot to give antibiotics. The doctor indicated an additional surgery was needed but it's been over 3 weeks and it feels like they're ducking my calls when I try to followup to actually get that scheduled. Maybe because of the prior insurance issues and they don't think the insurance will pay out for a second surgery? Would be nice if they were just direct about it instead of dragging things out. They also never followed up on lab results for the kidney stone sample and can't get anyone on the line to update prescription refill information either. You can pretty much only call in the morning because they take out a 2 hour window for lunch (12PM - 2PM) and frequently no one picks up in the afternoon after 2PM. Be careful with their billing and office manager-they are non responsive to me, the BBB and the state attorney general's office. I had a billing issue, sent, faxed and spoke with the doctor/reception who promised to look into it. No reply. BBB contacted them, no reply. They filed a judgment against me with no notice. Having a security clearance, this is not a trivial issue so I paid again. State Attorney General's office contacted them. I asked for a letter for the security clearance folks and a refund. They sent a refund payable to the commonwealth of Virginia. The State Attorneys General office contacted again, no reply. I was told to contact them to request a new check. I did, admittedly in a skeptical manner, and as expected, no reply. Fax machine is always busy (even 2 am) they don't know what to say, other than give out the phone number. When I did get through all pages (dozens) were "unreadable". Medicine seems great, but not worth the incompetence of the billing group and the office manager or getting a judgment because of their error. Good luck. read more
