Unfortunately my first (and last) experience with Fair Oaks Urology was a poor one…read more I scheduled an appointment by phone and received a confirmation email. The email listed the time of the appointment as 11:15am. I arrived SLIGHTLY late at 11:20am. The receptionist immediately told me that I was supposed to be there at 11am, despite the fact that the confirmation email only stated the appointment time of 11:15. The receptionist got an attitude when I pointed out that the confirmation email only stated the appointment time and mentioned nothing about arriving early. She then said they would "try to fit me in" when possible on that day. The confirmation email also included a garbled version of my first name, with no last name included. When I tried to pre-register for the appointment online (to provide the necessary information about me), the system rejected the garbled first name (no last name was listed) and I was unable to pre-register. Had I been able to pre-register, I might have found the information about arriving 15 minutes early. The information that I provided at the time I scheduled the appointment was very sloppily entered into their database. After the initial poor experience with Fair Oaks Urology, I decided to cancel my appointment and leave the business. They are clearly disorganized and sloppy in preparing data for medical visits. I can't speak about the competency of the doctors here, but if the appointment process is any guide, this is not a medical practice that I would ever want to use.

Dr Eisa is top notch!! I highly recommend him. All of my experiences with Fair Oaks Inova Urology…read morehave been excellent. All of the staff have been friendly and helpful. Really not sure why others have complained.

The website lists all insurances this provider accepts including mine; however Becky would not give any reason for turning me away based off my current insurance (which was included as accepted insurances on their website). She was short and nasty...left me on hold for five minutes before answering.

Really good first impression at the first appointment. He's an old school doctor without the bells…read moreand whistles and really seems focused on patient care. It did feel like he really listened to all concerns and you won't feel like just a number if you come here, unlike some providers you go to. I was pleasantly surprised to call and have an actual person pick up and not an answering service. There was a shorter wait time to get an appointment as opposed to the over a month or more for other urologists I contacted. This appears to be an independent practice and is not affiliated with the urologists at Potomac Urology, although they both have offices located in the same building (The Potomac Center). He has surgical privileges at Sentara if you need to get a procedure done. Cons: -No electronic medical records service (clarification: He is affiliated with Sentara so there is Sentara MyChart but there is no messaging system or online appointment scheduling, unlike with the Inova MyChart system) -No onsite lab (you will have to make an appointment at a separate location for lab services, in addition to radiology/imaging services.)
