They told me the tech would text me 30 mins prior to arrival and my window was 8am-11am. I received a text from Angel around 9am and he and the other tech were at our place in 25 minutes. So far so good. I showed/explained our unit and Angel began a pretty intense inspection of our ducts/system with pictures. He advised the condition and what he thought would be a good plan. He didn't pressure or try to upsell anything, just advice. I believe if we went with the standard straight forward duct cleaning he would have performed it in the same manner. We chose deep clean and sanitization as our vents did have construction debris (YUP) way down the line as well as other things we saw in the pictures that we felt should be done fully and sanitized as well. They were extremely efficient and you didn't know they were there other than the hum of their tools. Start to finish took maybe 90-120 minutes and he showed after pics of each vent/return. At the end he gave us advice on our filter, pointed out an air gap from the installation that I took care of as well as pointing out that our outdoor unit MAY have a fan issue. Called our a/c guy and it certainly did!!!! We will DEFINITELY use them for future cleanings.

We called out an AC / "Vent Cleaning" service who's tech "cleaned" the vent but spent the majority of the time trying to sell more services. Turns out the light came back on about 6 months later (for a service that should be annual). This time, we called VentSmart. Dryer vents are ALL they do. One price for a vent on the side of the house, another if the dryer vents to the roof. Wayne was super friendly and pleasant. He dispatched Chris in short order. Chris was even friendlier and worked hard to get the job done right. That first "Vent Cleaning" service never checked the roof, just "cleaned" from our air-conditioned laundry room. Chris got up there and removed a HUGE chunk of lint (attached pic), then high-speed brushed from top AND bottom. There was no BS, no trying to sell other services, no surprises with the cost. Just thoroughly cleaned the house vent, the vent in the dryer, and all around the dryer seals. Then cleaned up everything behind him. Professional, super nice, and a very reasonable price. Starting with the friendliest and most astute phone representatives I've experienced. They were so polite and accurate, assuring me throughout the entire process that i was in good hands. I felt the value of this. Erika, Akira & Cheniya will absolutely blow you away. Within a very reasonable amount of time I was greeted with a extremely energetic and fantastic service supervisor Robert M and Josh D. They were absolutely astonishing and fully prepared. After a thorough diagnostic of my AC system, Robert proceeded to explain with friendliness and no pressure the option I had to resolve my issue. Within 1 hour I was back in business and my AC system was working better than it ever had before. He preformed a full maintenance, cleared my drain line, washed my outdoor and indoor coils and sanitized my inside unit. The charge for this service was truly as fair as it gets.     Called Easy A/C and within 45 minutes had Rodney, a tech at East AC, at my door and figuring out…read morethe problem; my unit had a refrigerant leak which lead to a whole new unit being needed. the following day two techs, David & Deivy, came by and installed a beautiful new unit with a core thermostat (they even cut down and hauled away a crazy looking tree/brush that had been "disguising" the old unit). With the core thermostat (sort of like a nest thermostat) you can program and control while away from home. Something that will definitely come in handy for me. The team that came by were professional, hardworking, polite (actually a pleasure) and super clean and neat! I swear they left the garage in better shape then when they found it! I also spoke with a young lady when I called the office. I didn't catch her name, but what a sweetheart. Definitely made sure I was taken care of. Now about the old unit and warranty for the new unit: The old unit was about 11 years old and energy bills have been pretty high. Easy A/S offered financing for 3 years at no interest, which we took advantage of. Warranty for the compressor & parts are for 10 years, and labor is 1 year. All in all, aside from how much a new unit cost, the experience was excellent. I am definitely looking forward to lower energy bills. Hopefully the unit will pay for itself in a few years. ;)

    Based on our experience, we would not recommend Easy A/C to anyone. The quality of service we…read morereceived from the technician as well as management was horrible. We called Easy A/C to do a check & tune-up of our AC & air handlers after we purchased our new house. We have two AC units & two air handlers for our large house. The technician spent (in hindsight) a suspiciously much longer amount of time on one unit than the other. He then tried extremely hard to sell us on a yearly maintenance package after telling us that our equipment was functioning properly. He informed us that our air filters did not need changing for another couple of months and dissuaded us against vent cleaning. Two days later, the air handler (that was worked on much longer) would only push out hot air. A different technician came out and all his equipment pointed to a malfunctioning reversing valve that was deep in the AC unit that could not have been touched during the first appointment. We were notified that they would need to special order a $1000 part and that earliest it could be installed was the following week. He left with the heat running and no instructions on how to stop it in the meantime. We decided to call another company and are very glad we did. The second company came out and after ten minutes of testing, he had ruled out any equipment malfunctioning. How could the heat still be coming out then? He guessed maybe it was just bad wiring (rodents or something). He opened up our air handler and as soon as he checked the wires, the wire responsible for switching the unit from hot to cold fell out of a coupling. It was not as if the wire was straight and simply slid out. It had evidence of being properly twisted in the same pattern as its other wires in the coupling but it had been clearly disconnected from its brothers. Easy A/C had appeared to loosen/disconnect that wire in the air handler (the unit that took the most amount of time) during that first service. The issue was quite easily fixed once the wires were properly twisted back together. The second company informed us that since the unit was still under manufacture warranty, even if the reversing valve was bad, the part should not have cost $1000. We were also told that it was indeed time to replace our air filters and he just did not want to complete that portion of the service we paid. After receiving this feedback from the second company, I called Easy A/C requesting to speak to a manager/owner. The secretary very rudely told us that our anger was unfounded and that the manager was unreachable. After informing her that we will be informing the BBB, we were told the owner was on vacation and didn't want to be bothered. With the secretary, we settled on the agreement that we would wait to inform the BBB if we received a call back in two days once the owner was back in the office. It has now been at least two weeks and I've yet to receive a call back from the manager/owner. So as promised, I'm writing a full review of the horrible experience from Easy A/C and will be submitting a report of potential fraud to the BBB. To Summarize: * During a "tune-up/inspection," a cable came loose and caused only heat to come from unit * New tech was dispatched, I was informed it was a product malfunction and I needed to pay them $1000 to order a new part and fix the unit. * Another company came out same day and fixed the issue, quickly determining it was a loose wire. This other company mentioned something sounds VERY shady here especially since the unit was still under MFG warranty (Potential Fraud?) and the technical was just out 2 days prior * Management didn't care about a customer receiving poor service from their company. * Person answering the phone said that "due to it raining the tech was unable to fully validate the root cause of the issue," but even admitted the technician should have identified a loose wire inside the air handler, when it is located inside the house. * Technician refused to check all air filters to determine if they needed to be replaced I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.
