Ive always trusted Chris and Lee with my boat. Store it and service it there. More often than not they do little adjustments when I screw something up and keep the boat looking and running great. Ive never had an on water breakdown with them taking care of the boat. read more

I have bought 3 boats from GCM, one used and 2 new ones. I have always been treated fairly. I recently brought my Everglades 243 in for an annual service and to install an Atlas jack plate. Marty took care of everything, exceeding my expectations. When I picked up the boat all the work done was to OEM specs. To my surprise, the boat had been washed and waxed. I recently purchased a 243CC Everglades boat from Gulf Coast Marine. My experience was outstanding. Billy Holmes the owner was extremely helpful and always available to answer my questions. GMC made the entire process very easy. Chris the Service Manager delivered the boat to Port Aransas. He explained in great detail how to operate and maintain the boat. Being able to spend almost two hours out on the water was very helpful. Chris is always great about answering any questions by text or phone. When I started my search for a new boat I couldn't even get other dealerships to return phone calls or emails. You won't be disappointed with GMC they are world class!!! read more

I've bought 2 boats from GCM in Corpus. I really like the owner and the service department does a good job and have a quick turnaround.

I took my Boston Whaler to them to have some work done and when I went to pick it up they broke the skeg on my outboard and lost the key. I spoke to Billy the owner and it was like oh well. GCM only wants to sell boats not service them just ask the locals from the Bluff and the Island!! read more

While we all strive for perfection. The only people who seem to post reviews are normally angry, so i am going to put this out there. We have 3 reviews one guy is negative on all of his posts, also hides behind a fake name. One guy has a ligit claim because we were very back logged after the hurricane and his boat was not repaired in a timely fashion. He had a shallow sport X-3 and was a good customer. We are sorry. The other guy we could not find in our system and would like to contact to make things right (again real names could help) as the tech for Gulf coast marine (suzuki side) our CSI " Customer satisfaction index" is 89% which should be higher but I am always tring to get thoses numbers up. Terrible service department. We bought our boat 2 years ago at GCM. Had it in Rockport during Harvey. Miraculously survived. Called GCM and asked if they could do a simple overview and engine service. They promised a 2 week turnaround. Based on this assurance, we had it towed there. It still sits there untouched 5 weeks later and GCM cannot give assurances that it will be worked on even in the next 2-3 weeks!! This is completely unacceptable behavior for a true service-oriented operation. It is as if we were bait & switched and just left to dangle. We are pulling the boat out and taking to another shop that says they can get to it immediately. My advice: definitely go somewhere else! read more

I really have nothing good to say about Gulf Coast Marine. They are very slow to get work done and in no hurry to assist customers with purchases. They are very bad about telling you one thing and changing their mind as they feel and making your experience a hassle. Especially the girl in accounting. They do not care about the customer at all, and they have no problems demonstrating this. My company nor I will do business with them again. read more

First salesman we spoke to didn't have time to even show us a boat much less tell us a price. But luckily we gave up on the first salesman and found Charlie. He is absolutely wonderful. My husband works in the oilfield and Charlie even stayed late one night so he could sign the papers. We got a 18 foot blue wave. We love it. Only regret is we should have got a bigger boat with a teenage boy and friends it gets tight. The next time we are boat hopping we will I where ever Charlie is. read more

I think they are over priced. I was charged over $200 just for an estimate on fixing my 95 hp evinrude motor. Their estimate came back at about $1400! I declined having it fixed there and got it fixed elsewhere for about $500! Buyer beware! read more
