It was very quiet during the weekend we stayed and maybe only saw 8 people total. I can't really give a higher rating because we didn't spend much time at the resort during the day. We didn't check out any amenities they offered. We were really just there to sleep and then out for the whole day. We did get a site that had dedicated wifi and paid $2 extra per day for it. The front desk kept saying "it should be in your welcome email," but the wifi information wasn't there. They still have it to us, but it was a slight inconvenience. There was also a welcome kit, but since the office is mostly closed on the weekends, we didn't get a chance to grab it and they wouldn't drop it off/leave it at our site.

The vertical blinds were broken and had to be positioned individually. There were vanes missing, so they didn't cover the sliding doors. The toilet stopped flushing twice. The property management gave us instructions for getting a key after hours, but they were wrong. The resort overall is run down and needs updating. An unpleasant experience!!

Right on the beach with easy access, they provide chairs and kayaks if you want to use them. The property is old, but very well maintained. The staff, mainly Karen is friendly and accommodating. The apartment is clean, the appliances are up to date. Perfectly suited for lazy days spent at the beach. We didn't move our car the entire weekend. We brought in food from the Publix nearby and saved time and money from the usual dining out scene. We will keep this resort on our defiantly return list.

Being able to just walk to the beach from Casa Limonada was perfect. Each unit has a cart with chairs and an umbrella for the beach, which we used every day. I also appreciated that the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need for your stay, including a wine opener and even a lunchbox, which we used when we went to the beach. Ice is provided on site in the community building. This place is truly a hidden gem and we can't wait to come back here!

I stayed bayside and the privacy in January was wonderful. Beautiful views of the well healed neighbors boats and trees/foliage.Direct canal front unit that is fed by the bay. My condo had all the necessities of fresh towels enough for a week, paper towels, dishwashing detergent, soap and coffee. In fact much better than any condo in which I've ever stayed where you bring everything including sometimes your own sheets( jersey shore). The beachside was wonderful. Free beach chairs, grills, showers. The RVA staff was helpful and accommodating even coming by AFTER HOURS within 15 minutes of me getting locked out. Would recommend this place.

From reading, I expect this is due to not wanting to confuse any hatching sea turtles, but if sure made it tough to find the right door the first time. Oh, by the way, there is no elevator. It is only two flight of stairs, but it made me realize that where ever I retire to needs to be on the ground floor or have an elevator. We were surprised to find that there were no towels, no toilet paper, and dirty dishes in the dishwasher. This necessitated an urgent trip to the Publix which closed five mins before we got there. The CVS was open until 10 pm, and we bought the bare necessities. The next morning we waited until about 10 am and then called the answering service about the towels and a few other things. About an hour later, some people arrived and began to tidy up the place, left us some towels, bars of soap, and a dishwasher packet. As far as the condo goes, the only two rooms that were carpeted were the two bedrooms. The beds were comfortable. I did notice if I put on a pair of footies in the morning, they were blackened on the bottoms by mid day. I suspect the place had not had a thorough cleaning for some time. The refrigerator had a rusted door. The bathroom toilet filled very slowly. You could not be in the shower and use the water anyplace else, or you would have wide swings in shower temperature. The pool was small, but pristine. There was a free washer machine and two dryers for the entire complex, and while they were busy, it wasn't hard to get time to do your wash. The beach is incredible. Even during Spring Break weekend, you could look up and own the beach and see maybe a total of ten people in the mornings. There were always chairs available and they were free. TV's were flat screens, worked fine, and had DVD, VCR and stereo capability. Free high speed WIFI available in the condo and worked flawlessly.

After I adjusted to the mold and explored the area I decided it is important to support places like this. It is an artifact and a testament to days gone by. Families deserve to have an affordable place to stay in the center of some of the most expensive real estate. I'm sure in time his place will be demolished and turned into a multi million dollar structure affordable only to the one percent. It is what it is: a cheap room by the beach. Thankful one exists.

This vacation was a Christmas present for my daughter & myself -- we literally booked this trip in December of 2020 and by April of 2021 the hotel was 95% sold out. June 2021 was a terrible time to travel. The people traveling for vacation (demand) was more than what the airlines/ car rental companies (supply) could keep up with, and we got caught in that drama. We planned to arrive in Ft. Myers by mid day but numerous cancelations plus problems with Enterprise put us at WannaB at 2am. We stayed connected with Meggie about our trip. The communication was great. She made arrangements to put a lock box on our door, and text us the code so we could have keys to our room after hours. We really appreciated the customer service!!! Our ten day trip was pretty cool. We got five star service at this two star hotel. There were a few issues along the way, but when we expressed our concerns, WannaB Inn fixed them to our satisfaction. We stayed in the Sea Star, by the pool, king sized bed, spacious living space and a kitchenette. I have a few tips to share that made our experience spectacular: TIP: Native Charter Company, family owned, native to the area, sunset cruise, leaves from Lemon Bay, $25.pp for one hour. They start at 7:30am and quit at 6:00pm. Hammers Pounding, playing LOUD music, Workers yelling, saws running, nail guns all day long. With all the buildings this resort has lost to hurricane Milton (massive damage to this Resort) they could easily build these planters somewhere else and not next to their remaining guests rooms. Very inconsiderate! Rude! They offer No housekeeping service, and you must empty all garbage cans and remove from your unit or they will charge you a fee! They text you this message the night before you checkout. They treat you like it's a VRBO, when it is a resort!! Manasota Key Resort. No fiber optics on the island since hurricane Milton, even local TV and internet is sketchy. They are barely open here. I recommend staying at the Pink Shell Resort or Margaritaville at Fort Myers Beach, about the same price with housekeeping service, dining on site, internet and you are treated as a valued guest.
