    Latte

Came by on a Thursday afternoon and ordered a latte. Coffee is a little more acidic than I normally like, but overall coffee wasn't bad. It's a little out of the way if you aren't already in the area. Even then, it's about 2-3 blocks away from the main IC area. If you're by Costco, it's a good place to stop by for coffee before your grocery run. Otherwise, I don't think it's entirely worth it to just come here for coffee.

Gumption is super fast! I ordered a few minutes ahead of time and they already had my oat cappuccino waiting on the counter. Service was friendly and the cafe was very nice and spacious. I'd come back to sit and read with coffee and try one of their pastries next time!

Came here for a free coffee you can get with a code by downloading the app. My drink was good and the interior was nice - very modern and spacious. Not sure how it would be as a spot to work, as I didn't see many outlets and there is no restroom.

You know your morning is likely off to a good start when you walk into a coffee shop and you hear Breaking Benjamin instead of Taylor Swift over the pipes. Ordered an americano and an apple danish, which were both excellent, and stayed for the playlist. They even obliged my request for a real mug instead of a paper cup. Not often in this neighborhood, I wish this would replace my local Starbucks.

Great location right next to Costco and a perfect stop before a packed grocery run. Friendly service, clean establishment, and good coffee. They also offer sandwich options and pastries if you're a bit peckish. If you need something stronger, don't forget to add a shot or two to your drink. Can't wait to visit again when I'm in the area!

Gumption Coffee is the first coffee location from the Australian experts behind Coffee Alchemy. They take care in choosing their coffee purveyors and it shows. The food is also incredible. Definitely recommend for a caffeine fix if you're in the Industry City area. They'll also start doing coffee classes soon too!

Almost all of their ingredients come from their motherland, so it is authentically made. There's the soft kunafa, sheep ghee, sheep cheese, and pistachio.... And Mohammed, the owner, takes pride in that and how he makes it. He makes sure all his customers are given a somewhat close experience to how it's like im the motherland. And speaking of that, being inside of Nuthut personally warms my heart because of all the beautiful Palestinian art and touches of the culture. All the staff members that I have encountered have been nothing but kind and soooo helpful whenever I have a question or am curious about something. If you're lucky enough to catch them on the day they make their batch, you can watch them make their house blend on the roaster. It is a cool process to watch especially since their house blend uniquely has 5 different beans!!! So all coffee lovers, I mean true ones... if you need a locally owned wholesale coffee provider, this is where you should go. If you love all types of nuts, this is also where you should go, their peanut, cashew, almond selections are great!!!!

The almond croissant was freaking great!! Specifically the almond slices on top and the delicious sweet filling within. The plain croissant was good as well, nothing out of the ordinary. So for years, I've been grabbing friends by the scruff of their neck as they try to walk into Starbucks, and dragging them into D'Amico. Not on my watch. I bring them over, and watch as their eyes widen in wonder. I watched her marvel over the machine mixing and roasting beans in the back of the shop (used to be in the front). I watch them peruse all the options, finally picking a blend (organic, fair trade Sumatra maybe, or French Costa Rican). I listen as they and the helpful coffee guy discuss the type of coffee machine they have, and watch him grind the beans into a bag specifically for them. And then I allowed them to kiss my ring for showing them where they SHOULD be buying coffee. For the past decade or so, we've also been gifting a bag of coffee to a lot of our loved ones, because it's a useful gift that everyone can appreciate. You can do this too, and you don't even need to give me credit for the idea.

I wish there was an option to select what you want in the box, even if it were the animal, as I LOVE their ground beef and most of their beef products, but don't particularly love some of the sausages and ham items. Also, I believe the membership is advertised as to having monthly recipes, notes and ideas for each of the cuts of meat, but I have yet to see those. Also, I haven't received any priority access to in-shop events or special offers as advertised. Overall, if you or someone you know loves high quality meats and cooking, this is an excellent idea for them.
