Just had a firearm sent there from gunbroker, they were polite answered all questions. A few days later I called to confirm it was received and ready for pickup, again they answered and were great about everything. The day I picked it up, they were humming with people coming through and looking at things, I walked around and it was evident they had a healthy selection. I listened to customer interactions and everytime they answered questions, helped customers make informed decisions, and were great about the overall experience. They had it all ammo, holsters, cleaning gear, accessories, scopes, etc... along with some great knowledge. They took time to show me their other selection of left handed firearms, and were polite with the transaction. Over all great experience, look forward to going back soon. read more

I have been to many guns stores in my life, but none have been as over priced as this one. almost every item I see in the store is 50-100% marked up. they take advantage of newer gun enthusiasts and people who don't have anything else to compare prices to. an example of this is- a singular box of 20 rounds of prvi partizan 30-06, which I remind you is decent stuff, but slightly better than surplus ammo, was a whopping $50. Freedom armory is just up the road, go there, the prices are market price or sometimes better. A customer certainly won't get the "uh huh, yep, treatment when asked a question anywhere else locally. My personal experience was being sold a gun 3 times more than what it's actually worth. I know a kid who saved up all his money to buy a gun there, it was double what it was actually worth. Purchased my first handgun here. A Glock 19 and the staff was very helpful. Lots of information not only about the gun, but also gear and local ranges to shoot. Very nice selection of guns in all sizes. Can you find better prices online? Yes, but you can't get the customer service from a website that you get shopping in store. Also being able to see and touch what your buying is a much safer experience for the customer. Will be back to support this local business. read more

Honestly this place is not bad, but not great. The service is decent and I've never had any issue with the staff. I mean they aren't the type that seems like they are there for a ton of conversation of questions. As some people have mentioned the prices aren't the best. The copy and pasted response from the owner doesn't justify the $20 price point for 30 round Pmags. There are other guns stores that aren't more than 15-20 minutes away that are small and still have better pricing. So regardless of being a small business, other small gun stores not far from this one have more competitive pricing. I'm not saying that all of their prices are bad but $20 for a PMAG is not competitive when every where else is averaging about $12-14. To be honest I think that they price that way because they are so close to the Maryland line and know people are driving Into PA to purchase there. If you drive a little closer to York pricing becomes much better. I'll give them credit in that I think they do want to make their customers happy. I had an issue with some ammo that I assume they must press themselves, called them and they replaced it with brand new boxed ammo, which I appreciated. If you are in the area and they have what you want, you can check them out. Just don't expect a super nice state of the art gun store, it's not that. read more

Walked into the shop for the first time today. Asked to see what his selection in a certain rifle was, wanted to see and feel the weight of them and the guy behind the counter figured I was a cheapskate and after showing me one rifle, he pretty much refused to show me his other selections, instead giving me excuses that it is the same thing, just upgraded. No other explanation was given. Another customer walked in and he immediately parted company with me and acted very happy another person was in the store. After I started for the door and stated that since he didn't want to show me more, I was leaving. Then he comes back with "I'll show you more". Just prior to that, twice he gave me excuses instead of bringing down a rifle from the wall. I was willing to go to 2K if I liked what he had. His loss, not mine. If showing a rifle to a pprospective customer is such a burden, imagine if the rifle needed repairs. No thank you, I will make my purchase elsewhere. read more

Hey I drove all the way up maybe 100+ miles because they are the only ones with an abundant amount of ammo. All the guys were helpful and straight forward. There is a shortage on everything so yeah prices are higher. Not the end of the world. I recommend this place to any gun enthusiast read more

I was charged $1,200 for an AK that would have been $600-$700 anywhere else. Staff was fine, but were happy to take my money. No scam or anything, I just failed to recognize a fair price. Do your research, because they will be happy to overcharge anyone. read more

Fantastic people!!! Friendly, knowledgeable, and good prices. They have lots of inventory, but if they don't have it, they can probably get it shipped pretty quickly. Been a customer for a few years now, and I won't go anywhere else if I can help it. I've gone to them with a few "special" projects, hard to find items etc, and they've always been able to help. Good prices on ammo too. The best part, I don't get treated differently as a female customer like most other shops I've been to. They treat everyone with respect and proper customer service. Gun Bunker is an amazing store; it is truly packed to capacity with a large selection of new and used firearms and ammunition. Joe and Troy are very knowledgeable and very helpful. I have found some excellent deals there and they have also been very cooperative on receiving firearms from out of state. My only "complaint" is it is often very expensive for me to stop in and browse!!! Highly recommended!!! read more
