I called eight people and only five showed up. I really liked how Clayton helped me decide how to configure our kitchen. I wasn't really sure how. We also decided to have our bathroom remodeled. This whole crew was so amazing. We were still living in our house during the renovation and every time they left it was as if they had never been there meaning it was so clean. They had to demo the whole kitchen and when they left, there was no evidence of debris. Our kitchen turned out amazing, and the bathroom was exquisite. Our condo has some pretty strict requirements such as putting them under Hy's insurance policy and getting everything approved. Josh helped us with the process, and got our condo on their policy quickly. After we signed with them, we did a walk through of our condo, they were very detailed in asking questions to understand what we wanted and were super helpful and patient with our many questions lol. They got rid of our all our popcorn ceiling, carpet, installed vinyl plank for our entire condo, as well as change out our bathroom vanities & mirrors, and made shelves for our bathrooms. It turned out even better than I expected honestly! Afterwards I remember looking up at our ceiling and feeling grateful of how smooth and well done it is and the vinyl planks were done beautifully. Everything was really meticulously done even down to the quarter rounds that line the edges of our flooring. Mr. He and his partner did most of the work, he was very communicative, professional and even did many little extra things for us around the house that my husband thought of later like installing shower/tower rods so everything matched, at a very reasonable price, he even painted our door for free! I honestly am so grateful for him, he's such a nice guy. They got everything done in timely manner too! Since we were trying to move in ASAP, as my son was gona be born in 2 months. We love how updated our place looks now compared to before and I'm so grateful to HY Construction and their quality work! Originally, we had bamboo floors that became infested with termites, and we had 808 Maintenance demo the original flooring and change it out to LVT, the results and quality of work exceeded our expectations, we are extremely happy with the work and definitely recommend 808 Maintenance to anyone doing any home renovations. Richard is the owner of the business and he is a great guy, really knowledgeable, honest, reputable businessman. I had gotten estimates from multiple contractors, the estimate from 808 Maintenance was very reasonable and competitive especially given the high quality of work, definitely worth every penny we spent. What I really respect about Richard is that he is not only the owner but also works with his team on the jobs and so he is vastly knowledgeable about how the work should be done, so what he promises you, is exactly what is delivered, if not better. Absolutely NO shady business and he does not try to upsell anything that is not necessary. In fact, during the actual work, the demolition ended up being more work than estimated, plus I also had them do a few extra things than originally agreed, but Richard didn't charge us extra, which was really decent of him. Richard also has a quality team, they were all really nice, professional, very respectful in your home, and highly competent. During the project, I got to know the team members and learned everyone specializes in an area whether it is flooring, electrical work, carpentry, etc., all master craftsmen in their fields and so not surprisingly the work was efficiently completed and high quality. Working with 808 Maintenance and Richard felt more like working with a trusted family friend. They went the extra mile to make things perfect, which was really important to me because I tend to be a perfectionist. I wanted the work to be flawless and to be honest I was kind of demanding, but Richard and his team were all so accommodating.
