The vibe in the building is adorable, comfortable, and homey. but ALWAYS make a reservation, they're a small establishment and are very good, so a reservation is necessary. and if you are planning on eating there during the summer, make sure to make the reservation weeks in advance, they're booked quick because, well it's great, and summers busy. If you are unable to do stairs though, make sure you request the downstairs area!

I would recommend making reservations as it was consistently busy. We opted for seats at the bar to avoid an hour wait. This place is tiny, so it would not be ideal for large groups. It would be difficult to accommodate someone who could not navigate stairs (there are both stairs to enter as well as a staircase for most of the dining space). Servers were friendly and helpful, the right amount of attentive. The food came out quickly. They offer light lunch, brunch, breakfast fare, with specials, and baked goods from Lola. A popular special is a homemade pop tart, which has rotating flavors (today was blueberry with lemon frosting). We opted for French Toast, pork belly, and the country skillet. Everything was delicious and portions were generous. All around a great find.

I had the Skillet that was on advertised at the table and got to take half of it home for leftovers. Delicious AND a good deal!

My son had the meat lovers skillet and it was a generous portion. My Reuben was delicious but I noticed it was sliced deli meat-like. It came with a side salad or soup. I chose the salad, iceberg lettuce, cheese and tomatoes. I asked for blue cheese, which came in a little capped container labeled BC. It was really yellow and kind of gelatin like. I decided to pass on it as I'm used to which blue cheese and didn't want to risk getting sick. The coffee was a fabulous light roast, not at all bitter. I was able to enjoy it black. The prices seemed a bit high for my sandwich. The bill for 2 lunches, coffee and a soda came to roughly $35. I saw they do charge 3% furnishing a credit card so I just left cash on the table. The food was okay but honestly, we could have eaten at Texas Roadhouse (early menu) for about the same price and I would have had leftovers for the next day. Even though the food was okay, we probably won't be back due to the value of the meal.
