Really nice staff. Food average. Fries look good but really no flavor. Inside tables and bar area and big tvs isnt the largest area but the outside area is impressive. What a cool place to spend a beautiful Sunday afternoon. With a tremendous beer selection, a simple menu, and an incredible outdoor seating area, this is most certainly one of the best places to enjoy a beautiful day. When you eat here, however, do not expect to have someone checking on you every couple of minutes. This place is pretty no-frills in what you get. If you need something and the server hasn't stopped by, walk 5 feet into the bar and ask for it. If you are expecting to have the most attentive wait staff, you will be sorely mistaken. That doesn't mean that you never get checked on but rather they assume you are there to leisurely enjoy yourself. I found that to be incredibly refreshing. How was the food? It was good. I had the Asian glaze chicken wings with tater tot's. It was outstanding. Why the tater tot's cost two dollars more than french fries, I have no idea. Apparently, trendy and hipster cost more. I had heard good things about this place. My in-laws frequent it after bike rides. I went with four other women on a Wednesday night for drinks and dinner. They weren't busy, so we thought it'd be a great place to sit outside and enjoy our meal. The service was incredibly slow. Our drinks were left empty for a long time in between check ins. It took over an hour to get our food- a grilled cheese, a wrap and three salads. We finally asked about our order and requested it in to-go containers since we had been waiting so long. There was no apology, no discounts-nothing. Our food was brought out shortly after and we left. They must've have forgotten to even enter it. Turns out the salads had live bugs in them. And some orders were wrong. Absolutely disgusting. We were so disappointed. Won't be returning. read more

Food was good service was not. Bartender looked at my empty cup several times while I still had food left as she talked with the other staff. Once the conversation was over she asked if she could do anything for us. My basket was empty for 10 minutes during the conversation as well. Place is also filled with flys so having an empty basket in front of me only attracted more. The food was good though. read more

I ended up eating here on a whim because I wanted something quick and with outdoor seating and saw that this place had the 20% off check in deal. Lesson learned that quick impulse food choices are not great ideas. While there was nice outdoor seating (the garage doors were nice because I got to sit in the shade but still enjoy the sun) that's where the positives really ended. We got the Parmesan tater tots for an appetizer and I was disappointed the second they came out. For nearly $9 they were small and skimpy. The flavor was even worse, way too salty and I really doubt there was any cheese actually on there. My husband and I both got the daily special which was the grilled cheese. I Didn't think that a grilled cheese could go wrong, but I found out otherwise. Somehow even this was too salty, and the fries on the side were covered in salt and erratically sprinkled pepper. It was not a good time. I really wanted to like this place and was excited about it, but am very disappointed that I spent $20 on pretty lackluster over salted food. Next time I have a craving for fries, I'll go back to Black Sheep where $9+ fries are actually worth it. read more

one of my favorite bars in town! they have live music some nights, karaoke on saturdays, it is a great game spot, they have yummy food, and their staff is so friendly and quick! i love the patio in the summertime. another perk is that they are dog friendly as well! they are starting to get more and more busy now it is warming up! love the remodeling they have redone over the winter. it is going to be a fun summer! read more

Best bike bar in the CR area! This "garage" is bike themed and they serve their draft beer in the most unique way via a magnet and filling it from the bottom up! So cool and you leave with an awesome magnet! The menu is simple, but I prefer that over an overwhelming menu. Today we sat outside and enjoyed wings and the chicken Philly. Both were great after a hot bike ride. A tip to others - check in and use the 20% off offer!! The service was slow, but we were in no hurry as it gave us more of a break before we continued on our bike ride. Fun new little joint outside of NewBo and along the bike trail. Had a bowl of chili which was actually quite good! Not a great deal on the menu to choose from, hopefully that'll change. This place has the "new" beer dispensing system that fills the glass from the bottom. Kinda cool! Wife and I are in agreement that we will both be back. read more

I have gone to Kickstand twice now & both times I have been very pleased with the food, service, and atmosphere. It's a limited menu but who needs all that food you'll never order anyway. I had a bloody mary and an egg and veggie burrito at 7:30 pm with no hassle or guff at all from the staff or the cook. That in itself is an instant win for me. On top of that, the food and drink were great! The cook checked up on us and others in the bar to see if we enjoyed his creations, the bartender was attentive and friendly. We asked for weird drinks and he was down for the challenge and even made suggestions on how to make them better, but was not pushy if we didn't want to try them his way. This is a terrific café. It has a large variety of coffee and flavored lattes and even Kyoto coffee. I had a Panini that was fantastic. We also had a roast chicken which was just filled to the brim with flavor and ingredients. I strongly recommend this to anyone. Bikers come on over and have lunch. read more

First off, they had 1 server on Mother's Day!! So after waiting forever, our drinks finally arrived. I practically choked on my virgin Bloody Mary. Tasted like straight up mix, totally gross. Had to get a water immediately. I ordered a breakfast burrito on a jalapeno tortilla. When we finally got our food, it was on a plain tortilla and there were banana peppers instead of jalapenos inside, which I specifically ordered. Also they were apparently out of tater tots and gave me steak fries instead. Please tell me that UPFRONT, because I HATE steak fries and these were dry and tasteless. Will I go back??
