    daal saag and fry bread
    Kevin C.

Really loved this place! Very unique flavors. I forgot the actual names of the dishes, but we got the fry bread with a curry/chopped onion mixture, the signature dumplings in a creamy curry sauce, and the saag (lentils) entree with brown rice. Everything was really good but I would say the dumplings are a must try. The fry bread was also very unique, it comes out hot and crispy. Parking is easy and service is great.

Great food from another local restaurant. The service is spot on and the atmosphere is very soothing. I ordered the Daal soup along with chicken curry both were amazing

In a shopping center with plenty of parking. The service was quick and prompt and somewhat friendly. Definitely not that big in there. I got the saag paneer which is my go to. I ordered level 4 spice which wasn't level 4 spice but I liked it. I thought the food overall was a bit bland. Pretty presentation though. I loved the naan.

This place is really cute with fast service. I got the jhol momo and really loved it. They have the perfect amount of spice. It really reminded me of momos I have had in India. The price is pretty low for the amount they give, so I was really satisfied overall. Definitely will be returning here in the future.

Had a great dinner on Friday here --ordered the goat curry, aloo paratha, naan, and chicken momos. Everything was SO good. The sauce the momos come in was decently spicy, while the goat curry (medium heat) really wasn't spicy (for me). Would recommend asking about the spice levels before ordering. Our waiter was super pleasant and helpful with ordering. Can't wait to come back here!

We really like this place especially Jhok momos are very tasty. Super spicy though. The samosa chat was also very good. Will definitely go again

I want to start by saying "Wow". This place is a local must try. We came from Orlando to visit boulder again and we were in the mood for some good dumplings and curry and we found the perfect place. We ordered the chili mo mo (dumplings), chicken Korma curry and Garlic Naan. We were greeted by both brothers who are so kind and provided these great recommendations. The vibe was perfect to wind down our night. I highly recommend Gurkhas dumpling and curry house! Thanks y'all! Oh and spice is on point!

Gurkas is a great place to go for Indian food especially their Momos (dumplings). I did not know what to expect but was greeted by a very joyful owner who had me at the smiling welcome. I tried their Jhol momo bowel and it was delicious. I also had to take their Chicken Masala home so I could try that with the family. It was also really tasty with just the right amount of kick. Please try this place. You will like it!

This place smells amazing! It was bustling on a cold and rainy Tuesday night. Just about every table was taken. The servers were prompt and friendly. It did take a while to get the food, but it was well worth the I wanted to try both the momos and a curry since it's a dumpling and curry house. My husband had to have saag paneer and some hot butter naan to sop it all up. We thought it would be too much for the two of us, but we barely had any leftovers; it was so good. We got everything medium hot in spice level which was plenty and we're not timid. In hind sight, we should have tried some mild and some hot just to get the spectrum. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The momo skin was the perfect thickness and packed with filling. They came with dipping sauce and some clear broth which we weren't sure what to do with it. Apparently you pour it over the dumplings and make like a soup. The saag paneer had plentiful cheese chunks. I recommend getting the white/basmati rice instead of the brown rice which was a bit over cooked. We can't wait to come back for some biryani and noodles!

This is my favorite restaurant in Boulder. The masala momos are amazing! They have vegan & gluten-free options but also serve meat dishes.

Plenty of vegetarian and meat options. Around lunch time the buffet well stocked and nothing is suffering from sitting in the steam table long. We have eaten here many times over the years and it seems consistently good. Some things are just so so but it's all a matter of taste and preference anyway. Chili chicken and potatoes and broccoli were stand outs today. Full of flavor. Freshly cooked and I left nothing behind. The naan is plentiful but one piece is enough. The samosas are pretty standard for every Indian restaurant on the planet. I love veg chow chow having had this on our Mount Everest base camp trek so many times. Love it! Service is ok. It's a buffet. They seat you and you dig in. We prefer to sit outside as it was hot and humid inside. Price is ok for Boulder and the current state of inflation and pricing of everything being stupid. This restaurant is huge and can seat every size group. We will be back.

Visited this location the other evening for dinner and overall enjoyed our meal. I'm from out of…read moretown and come from an area with a high Indian population and am absolutely spoiled with delicious authentic Indian food at home and I do have to admit this place isn't nearly as good as my local fare. We ordered the Aloo Gobi, a dish called "mushroom matter", basmati rice, "Indian style tea" which is just chai I don't know why they label it that way and a garlic naan. The aloo gobi was almost all cauliflower and lacked the brightness and salty sweetness I am used to, the mushroom dish also fell a bit flat although I've never seen this dish before so I have nothing to compare it to, the basmati rice was fairly short grained, not very fragrant and unspiced but the thing that got me was the crunchy toasted naan??! I was expecting your normal soft, pillowy, melt in your mouth steamy naan and I got what felt more like a crunchy pizza crust with no toppings, not that it was bad but it was wildly outside of what I was expecting and personally didn't like it, my daughter will eat any bread product and ate it instead. The service was incredibly nice, friendly, accommodating, and helpful, our food came quickly. I do wish they had some way of dealing with delivery drivers since they just loiter in the entry of the restaurant near the kitchen which happened to be right next to our booth and more than one large sweaty delivery driver was essentially leaning against my daughters side of the booth while waiting for pick up, kinda gross. They also need to replace their carpets and bench cushions but otherwise I loved the decor. Overall they need to step up their spice game, this is Indian food bring your A game and all other faults would be forgiven, except that crunchy naan. They also don't have Chana masala??!!? This is my go to and I've never seen this not offered at an Indian restaurant in my area. As a person spoiled by incredible Indian food this sadly doesn't hold up but it's good enough and better than other places we have tried in the area like Kathmandu II.
