The food here is consistently good. Prior to the pandemic, my office team would order here several times a year and always was satisfied. Not sure if they have a rotating menu, but we'd always have to check for the current menu to see what was being offered. Anyways, I went again recently a couple of times and the food was still outstanding. Parking is a nightmare so make sure if you're doing pickup, bring a friend to run inside. I don't really know what the names are for the things I eat here, as I usually rely on some friends to order. I don't think you can go wrong, really. All of the food are well prepared and spiced. It appears to be a family owned business, which is a plus.

Great experience with the takeout. I was recommended this by a friend who used to live in boston 10 years ago, and lives up to the hype! Reasonable prices, fast service. Gluten free items are well marked. Looking forward to more takeout!

These guys always park in the disabled space at restaurant depot. Mediocre food. Bad citizens.

we were craving calories and found this nearby. we stopped in here, hoping they had dine it but the indoor dining area was set up for carry out only. there was a barrier set up from the customers to the employees. the credit card reader was wired six feet from the register. mad applause for this set up. the rest of the industry, take note. luckily the two tables outside the restaurant were not occupied and we ate our take food there. we got samosas, a lamb biryani, and a goat combo with potatoes and rice. all the dishes were very flavorful. the samosas were nice and crispy, the fillings had spices complimenting with each other. the goat curry/stew was excellent but the oil in it was much more comparatively to other restaurants of the same type of dish. Overall, i would definitely come back to try other dishes. Parking is street.

chicken combo: tikka masala and tadka dal

I'd rate the food as 2 stars, and bumping to 3 stars for value as they do give you a decent amount of food for what you pay for. Ordered the chicken combo with Chicken Tikka Masala and Tadka Dal. I found both of these dishes to be on the blander side. The Tikka Masal, in particular, was very watery both in flavor and texture. The Roti the combo dish comes was unremarkable. The Vegetable Pakoras I ordered were also on the blander side as well. The saving grace is that they do give you a decent amount of food for what you pay for, but that personally won't be enough for me to order from here again.

    Homemade roti..not naan

Great food! Just like homemade, plus it's halal. I ordered the chicken combo with daal makhni..everything was delicious. 5/5 I also got the chicken tenders (3/5)I thought they had too much batter on them unnecessarily but the chicken flavor inside was quite good. Vegetable pakoras were a 2/5.. I took a few bites and got the feeling I get when something is fried in old/bad oil so left the rest. But otherwise they looked good- full of veggies and onions (just the way I like them) so this may have been a one off.. I'm not sure The naan that comes with the combo is actually homemade roti, so that was surely a pleasant surprise :) Also I delivered through Yelp which was great! On time, professional, fresh and hot food at my door. Taking off one star for the fried items, but the curries were yummy!

This is a picture of the takeout I got. Rotis with samosa ans chicken tikka and egg curry. It was delish.

All the food was extremely bland (except the fairly decent palaak paneer) but giving it 2* because the food wasn't offensive, just bad.

Wow! This Indian food tastes much different from the typical places. It feels homemade and healthy! I'd recommend trying the okra.

That being said, the place was packed after 7 so consider what time you're coming when trying to walk in without a reservation. The entrance is up the stairs and as soon as you walk through the door, you're greeted with a great view of Winthrop Park and the surrounding area. We were promptly seated and the lively wait staff came and took our drink order shortly thereafter. We started with the complimentary papadum and chutneys and our appetizer order of hara bhara kebab which was a nice vegetarian fritter. For our entrees, we got the baingan bhartan, chicken tikka masala (dairy free one), yellow daal tadka, tandoori roti, onion kulcha, and paneera bharura. The breads were all fantastic and I enjoyed the chicken tikka masala (dairy free made with coconut milk) just to see how it was different from a standard chicken tikka masala. For dessert, we got the gajar halwa (which was awesome!) and kulfi. Overall, I'm glad to have finally tried this place and may revisit it again in the future. Worth considering if you're in the area.

Our server was incredibly attentive and would always make sure to follow up and that everything is good. There was a plate that we had that had a stain on it. Our server noticed immediately and swapped out the plate without us having to tell him. He refilled our waters as soon as he saw that our glasses were empty. Compared to the first time that I was here, I think the service remains excellent and unchanged. The quality of the food was amazing. Overall, the dishes were delicious. I enjoy the blend of spices and flavors that you could taste within the food. In terms of food quality, this is easily becoming my favorite Indian restaurant in Boston. I appreciate the restaurant location and internal setup. The restaurant is nestled near Harvard Square on the second floor with a nice view to the local neighborhood around Cambridge. There were many tables by the window so customers could enjoy the ambience. Overall, would recommend. If I find myself returning to Boston, I will definitely make time to stop by again.

Indian is one of my favorites and this was a fairly short drive from our hotel in Waltham. We made a reservation but that did not seem to be at all necessary. It was a Monday night and it was not particularly busy. We were seated right away. They featured a very pleasant dining room and we were able to secure a table by the front window. This was a great spot and added to our experience. The service was very good. We were attended to quickly and well cared for throughout our time there. The food came out in a timely manner well presented at the appropriate temperature. My colleague opted for the Creamy Coconut Chicken. I tried a bite of this and was favorably impressed. In addition, he had a Mango Lassi to which he also gave a thumbs-up. I had the Fish Curry, which I ordered at a medium level in terms of spice. It was very tasty as it had just the right amount of kick. He ordered the Garlic Naan to accompany his meal while I had my favorite type of Indian bread (my favorite type of bread period, really) Peshwari Naan. We were both happy with these choices. I also had a glass of cabernet which turned out to be a decent choice. Our final bill that included food, drinks, tax and tip was $86. At $43 per person in this inflationary time, I was happy enough with the value given the quality of the fare and the overall experience. I would be happy to make a return visit.
